"No camping - Open to the 4 winds, day and night, the public can enter the campsite. The sanitary facilities can be used by anyone walking around, as access to the site is unsecured. Passers-by' dogs can wander around the campsite and relieve themselves, as there are no fences. Some pitches are less than 5 meters from the river, and without protection a child can drown in a few seconds of inattention. Rats are present in profusion. At the height of the season, the garbage cans are overflowing.

Camping La Chalaronne is located on the river of the same name. You camp here near the village of Saint-Didier-sur-Chalaronne, which is located between the larger cities of Mâcon and Villefranche-sur-Saône. The campsite is conveniently located and offers the possibility …to book a pitch or rent a chalet. New in 2020 is the mini golf course. The surrounding area of the campsite invites you to many excursions: a visit to the museum, castle, zoo or nature park. Beautiful camping The campsite is clearly arranged and many plants and trees beautify the area. The spacious pitches are located along paved roads and are separated by green hedges. This ensures that you always have enough privacy. The pitches have a size of 90-120 m2. The pitches are suitable for campers and caravans as well as for tents. The campsite also offers simple chalets for rent. Entertainment for the whole family New in 2020 is the miniature golf course with nine holes. A game of mini golf is fun for young and old. At the campsite you can play a game of table tennis or boules. Children can also climb on the playground equipment. The entertainment team occasionally organizes a dance or karaoke evening. A tasty snack and a refreshing drink. You don't have to leave the campsite to grab a bite to eat. The restaurant serves fries, burgers, pizzas, salads and breakfast. There is also a special children's menu. The restaurant is open from the end of March to the end of October (closed on Mondays). The terrace of the restaurant is covered. There is no grocery store on the campsite itself. A supermarket is only a five-minute walk from the campsite.
