- Mario D.July 2024PozitívumokLarge pitches for campers, Large tent meadow, Bathing lake with sandy beach Kiosk with great offersNegatívumokSanitary facilities are getting on in years, but still adequate.Very nice campsiteSuper site with large pitches for campers and a large meadow for tents. In the months of June, July and August, the kiosk is open on the site. There are German bratwurst, chips, meatballs, ice cream and much more.
The municipality of Seltz runs the campsite and the groundskeeper is very friendly and... helpful.
The campsite is located on a great bathing lake with a large sandy beach and is also supervised by a lifeguard. On the other side of the campsite is the beautiful Rhine with a free ferry to Germany.Automatikusan lefordítva. - Mathieu L.June 2021PozitívumokThe peace and quiet, the beach, the cleanliness of the place.NegatívumokLack of changing facilities on the beachMathieuThe welcome was perfect. We had a great stay. Alex, a pro we enjoyed meeting. See you soon, we'll be back for longer next time.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Jürgen D.September 2018PozitívumokCamping in beautiful nature.NegatívumokThe neighboring gravel works sometimes also runs at night.Simple, inexpensive place in a beautiful areaI've been going to the campsite from time to time for many years. I've always loved the car-free tent pitches. The staff also make sure that there aren't too many people on the site. The staff could sometimes be friendlier, but you don't have much to do with them. If you're expecting the full infrastructure... of an upmarket campsite, you're in the wrong place. If you simply want to camp in beautiful natural surroundings between the Rhine and the lake at an unbeatable price, this is the place for you. Ideally, you should bring a bike. You can order bread rolls on the site itself and there is a simple kiosk. A few meters from the site there is a larger kiosk on the Rhine and a good tarte flambée restaurant. The Rhine ferry to Plittersdorf is free, where you can also reach a very good and inexpensive German restaurant on foot. To go shopping in Plittersdorf or Seltz, you have to use a bicycle or car. When my son was little, there was regular drama when the short vacation was over and we had to go home again. But I still enjoy being there without children today....Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Lisa K.August 2016PozitívumokNone that would outweigh the disadvantagesNegatívumokAfter this really nasty reception - and that's the most objective way I can put it, never ever again! We've never experienced anything like it.No electricity and a site ban on critical request. The receptionist is - as we experienced on the much nicer French alternative campsite, which welcomed us in a friendly manner - a well-known German hater. We were not the first to leave. That explained everything to us. It was a bad experience for our young people after many good exchanges with France via school.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- M. J.August 2015PozitívumokThere are none.NegatívumokUnfriendliness, no interest from the owners, no instruction, no information. Sanitary areas dirty, NO ELECTRICITY.Never again!!!The reception was unfriendly, nothing was explained and if you asked, you only got unfriendly announcements. We camped however we wanted because nobody was interested. You don't get electricity even though we were registered. The sanitary facilities are ancient and dirty. There are no leisure facilities... and not even a store on the site. There is no peace and quiet, as nobody is there after 6 pm and some campers, who know this, are loud until late at night. We will never come back.Automatikusan lefordítva.

- Jürgen N.April 2011I'm a permanent camper there for the third season. The showers aren't great, but they're good enough for showering. However, the showers would still be at the top of my list of improvements. I really like the sandy beach. Especially at the beginning of spring, when it is being rebuilt, the walk along... the sandy beach is an experience. The sand is then deep and feels very soft. Later in the season, of course, this is no longer so noticeable. I have not yet experienced any noise pollution from users of the campsite. In my opinion, the regulations of the municipality of Seltz also attach great importance to observing quiet times. The site is recommended for quiet campers.Automatikusan lefordítva.
