Normally I would give the campground 4 out of 5 stars, but due to an encounter with the unfriendly and aggressive owner I am keeping it at 1 star.
Just the normal review first, then I will end with the review of the unfriendly... and aggressive owner.
The campground is clean and well kept by the (well) friendly staff. We stood with our 2 daughters (11 / 9 years) and our on dog at the back of the campsite on an XL spot. The plumbing is fine and well kept. Only thing is that in the evening the hot water runs out because too much is used at once for the dishes and showers. I don't find it a problem, you can cool off for a while, but if you do want hot showers, you have to take that into account.
WiFi is not very good and after an evening with lightning, it was no longer available at our spot. At the sanitary building there is good WiFi.
On some evenings there was also band / music and that was very pleasant. With a bar you could sit there and have a drink.
The campsite has enough trees, which is nice with the hot days. Behind the campsite there is a road, where in the evening mopeds drive by making a lot of noise. If you are sensitive to this, it is better not to go to the back of the campsite.
The beach is a short walk away if you leave the campground and cross the one-way street. Lake Caldonazzo is lovely and not cold, but nice to cool off in. Directly opposite the campsite you can also rent pedal boats, some with a slide. Staff of this was very nice and we used this several times. Very nice.
But now the verbally aggressive and unpleasant owner. We were on pitch 160 at the back of the campsite. Beautiful view, you don't have to drive far to get dreamlike impressions.... The pitches are big enough for a caravan with awning, 3m pavilion and car - and then there is still room to move :-)
The site is very well maintained and clean, as are the sanitary facilities.
It is very pleasant that there is no entertainment,... which on a campsite in August often blasts the whole area until late in the evening!
The small store on site always has enough fresh rolls in the morning and the most important things for other small needs are also available on site.
The playground is very nicely laid out, but more for children under 10.
There is a separate football pitch, table tennis tables and a volleyball net.
The public lake beach of Lago di Caldonazzo is very conveniently located - only separated by a one-way street with little traffic - directly adjacent to the campsite.
The campsite has an ice cream parlor with delicious ice creams, and there are several restaurants in the immediate vicinity where you can also get excellent take-away pizzas.
A sufficiently large supermarket is approx. 1.5 km from the campsite and is easily accessible by bike.

The lake is clean and very suitable for children as the pebble beach is very shallow. Very good and inexpensive restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Operator's statement: Pitch on the lake does not mean you can see the lake. WLAN a disaster even after installing 3 new antennas. If it works you get 500KB as bandwidth which makes surfing impossible because you keep running into timeouts. Pitch on the beach fenced... in by thujas and very narrow. Very noisy at the weekend due to the public beach. We then moved to the other end of the site. Also very noisy there as vehicles pass very close to the pitch. Moved to the middle again as an earlier departure was only possible if we paid the full price for the remaining days. What particularly bothered me was the obligation to wear a Punta Lago wristband. You were admonished to do so. The management made you feel uncomfortable on the pitch. The showers were a positive feature. Beautiful cycle paths available. We will never come back to this campsite. The sanitary facilities are very, very clean. They are cleaned throughout the day. It's a great place for hiking, cycling and then swimming in the beautiful lake. It wasn't totally... overcrowded but still well attended. Just right! Perfect for the children. There's a nice playground and children's entertainment in the evenings, but not as intrusive as we've experienced at other places. We would definitely come back again. The infrastructure in this area is excellent (electricity columns, fresh water points etc.). A public road separates the new area from the campsite, where the reception and sanitary facilities are located. The sanitary... facilities are well equipped and were always clean. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful.
