- Karin W.September 2021PozitívumokBeautifully situated directly on the Sihl, a very quiet site. Ideal for families, hikers and bikers. Very nice and hospitable young tenants. The meadows serve as pitches, the access roads are graveled, the sanitary building is currently still simply equipped but very clean. There is a kiosk and a small restaurant. Stable free WLAN. Sihlwald train station is a 10-minute walk away. We have stayed much louder and much worse in Switzerland for much more money.Negatívumok./.Perfect for cyclists and hikers, very suitable for familiesWonderful place for people who want to combine camping with nature experiences.....Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Gerda S.September 2021PozitívumokThe campsite is in a beautiful location and excursions of all kinds are possible without a car. Good hiking and cycling opportunities as well as a train station within walking distance. Small snack bar, very tasty! In the morning you can even order fresh yeast plait! Old but very clean sanitary facilities.Negatívumokyou can hear the Sihlwaldstrasse with its trafficEvaluation of Camping Sihlwald ZurichWe felt very welcome. In the evenings you can sit around the campfire and chat with other campers if you like. A large pool table is available under a tent and is also used.
We found the food on offer at the kiosk very tasty and enjoyed the warm yeast plait in the morning.
Hikes in the Sihlwald forest are worthwhile and the cycle path to Zurich is very beautiful. The operators are very nice people and make the stay very pleasant.Automatikusan lefordítva. - Bruno B.August 2020PozitívumokGood location on the Sihl Wilderness park nearby Good cycle paths Sanitary facilities old but cleanNegatívumok-noisy street opposite, disturbing traffic day and night more -Over the years -Old sanitary facilitiestransit point or as a starting point City of ZurichActually beautiful location on the Sihl, with many hiking and cycling tours directly from the site. Ideal proximity to Zurich. Friendly staff.
The road opposite disturbs the peace extremely. Car noise day and night. The infrastructure is getting on in years. Sanitary facilities old, but clean. Only 2 showers and 2 toilets.Automatikusan lefordítva. - Jolanda B.July 2020PozitívumokCozy place to relaxNegatívumokA bit outdated but very cozyWeekend tripPerfect for a weekend to switch off. - Johann (Hans) G.October 2014PozitívumokNature camping without through trafficNegatívumokEverything already looks a little used upIn the middle of the "Zurich Wilderness Park"Rather small nature campsite that has had its best days long ago. After our arrival I immediately had a look at the san building, ALL the toilets, washbasins and showers were clean. Only the floor was slightly dirty. The cleaning lady came right after us and put everything in order. The site is located... directly on the Siehl, which is wide and fast flowing, but very shallow and in summer is certainly a great adventure playground for children and dogs. A railroad line runs next to it, but we didn't notice any trains all weekend. Next to the railroad runs the main road, which is also about 10 meters higher, so you can see and hear every vehicle that drives on the road. Somehow everything looks patched up, even a broken urinal has been repaired. There are several electricity boxes with CEE sockets and water taps next to them. Electricity and hot showers are included. Showers with anteroom and new shower curtains, a mirror above each washbasin and a filled paper dispenser. The san building is located outside the campsite, opposite the entrance and is probably used by hikers and cyclists. The visitor center in the "Wildpark Zürich" is about 2 km away, the train station about 1 km. Both can be reached on a quiet, paved bike/walk/ride path. We went to this place because it was the only one still open at the beginning of October. It is better than the previous reviews suggested. The manager is friendly and the cleaning lady does a good job. All in all, it's not a bad place. Oh yes, you should avoid the pitches on the Siehl if possible because they are soggy in rainy weather. The pitches opposite are flatter and firmer.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Katharina E.August 2013The location on the Sihl is very nice, but there were a few things that really bothered us. Firstly, it is noticeable that this site is located directly under high-voltage power lines (after 2 days the whole roof of the motorhome was full of dead flies), well, certainly bearable for a few days. Very... dingy overall impression of the site and the sanitary facilities. Good if you have your own shower. The breakfast rolls were baked every morning and were still frozen in the middle. What was very annoying: caravans and mobile homes of "travelers" are spread all over the site... the constant hustle and bustle and the restlessness that this clan radiates is very unpleasant. The site manager was visibly uncomfortable when I spoke to her about it and she said that we were all a bit "gypsy". I have nothing against Romas, Sintis or whatever they are called. But on a public campsite, this should actually be pointed out when you register. It was not only us, but also other campers who were not really comfortable on the site. We certainly won't be going back to this site because we simply felt uncomfortable. If the "travelers" were more open to strangers, the situation would certainly not be quite so oppressive. But they don't say hello back, they ignore you, but they kept walking around the camper van and looking... whatever. And that's when oppressive feelings come up. Whether justified or not remains to be seen.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Wolfgang G.September 2011Quiet, green site by a river. Many permanent campers. Close to the Sihlwald railroad station and an eco-station with beavers. There is a kiosk at the campsite. Everything is ok. Shower is free and hot! Good!Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Pedro L.August 2011Bom Camping de passagem. Não prima pelo luxo. A simpatia do pessoal é extrema. O facto de se situar junto ao rio completa a passagem de grande beleza. Bastante sossegado. Na altura em que acampei, viam-se bastantes campistas que pernoitavam e iam trabalhar na manhã seguinte. Não se ouvia um ruido sequer.
