As some of the federal states were still on their Whitsun vacations, a number of campsites were already fully booked. By chance we ended up here at the rather inconspicuous... U Casone. At first we thought the site was closed, as there was a sign saying "closed" at the front of the small marker. But that was not the case. We received a very friendly welcome and were able to choose our own pitch. The campsite is located in a pine forest with lots of shade. The pitches are separated, but everything is still quite open, so there were no space problems. In addition, everything is nice and level, which makes aligning a caravan/motorhome a breeze. We chose a pitch at the very end of the site. From there, a narrow path leads through the forest over a small bridge through a small vacation settlement directly to the sea. The beach there is fine sandy, beautifully natural and wonderfully quiet and spacious. Most of the time we had it all to ourselves and actually spent at least one hour there every day. But back to the site.... There are two sanitary facilities, both of which are easy to reach. Cleanliness was good, there are toilet seats and toilet paper, which is not necessarily common in France. There is also a very nice pool on the site, a small bar and a very, very tasty restaurant. We ate there two or three times, which we really enjoyed. Especially when you come back to your accommodation after a long day of adventures in the Corsican mountains, it is very pleasant to have your own restaurant on the campsite, as you don't have to drive out again. We stayed here for a total of 5 days and during the whole time we kept asking ourselves what the catch was. Good food, peace and relaxation without end and without animation, clean facilities, great pool,...but why is there nobody here and why are we almost alone here? We still don't know...but the fact is...it was the best decision to stay here...sometimes late at night we were blasted with loud music from the other two large neighboring campsites. Luckily we didn't end up there. All in all, it was a wonderful and peaceful few days at U Casone. And as there are no reviews here yet and the place absolutely doesn't deserve it, I'm giving it a full 5 stars. The only small disadvantage are the power supplies, which are sometimes quite far apart and include 4 different versions. Normal 220V socket, 220V with French. Adapter, then 220V with the blue adapter and a 24V connection. All integrated in one column. If the coveted 2 most common connections are already occupied by other campers, you start to stumble and have to see where to stay. We were lucky that a camper left the next day, so I rolled up my 50 meter cable from the neighboring box again and plugged my plug directly next to us at the power column into the space that had just become free.Automatikusan lefordítva.
