C.March 2023PozitívumokPeace and quiet, great beachNegatívumokno shops/restaurants in the vicinityNice place outside in the "green"...Very nice, green site that is far enough away from the waterfront. The site is quite "outside", there are no restaurants/shopping facilities nearby. The reception is friendly (also English-speaking), the pitches are large enough and all have a direct electricity and water connection, satellite reception... is sometimes difficult. There is also a very nice swimming pool open in the summer. The sanitary buildings are clean, some of the showers are a little small (without a shelf). Next to the reception there is a small store and bread to order. There is also a cafe/restaurant with a fairly decent menu and quality. For around €25/day, the campsite offers large e-scooters with a range of 80 km for hire. Tarifa is more than 8 km away along the coastal road. Washing machines, dryers, etc. available and not expensive. The beach can be reached via the national road or through a tunnel to the beach. There is a bakery 100m away with delicious homemade cakes, ideal for a coffee and cake in the afternoon!

The beautiful sound of the sea can be heard from the campsite. Unfortunately, the road can also be heard a little during the day. An underpass leads from the campsite to the large sandy beach with a view of Africa. Unfortunately, swimming was... not possible due to the wind conditions. Instead, you could watch the numerous kite surfers. The campsite's sanitary facilities are rather average. Clean on the whole. The leisure facilities on site are limited to the beach and the sea. However, there is a pool and a tennis court on site. A visit to the towns of Tarifa (10 km) or Gibraltar (50 km) is possible from the campsite. Tickets for the crossing to Africa are available at reception. There is a shop on the campsite, but with a somewhat limited range of products. Bread rolls are available for breakfast. The restaurant is average. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Free WiFi is only available near reception. Washing machines are available. The pitches are quite large and separated by high hedges. On grass. With electricity and water. Ideal for relaxing for a few days. Or as a starting point for day trips for sightseeing or hiking. Surfers and kiters will certainly have fun here for longer. The place has a lot of possibilities for excursions (Gibraltar, Tangier, Ciuta etc.). It is situated in a fantastic landscape, I have never seen so many eagles at once!!! A visit is also... highly recommended for the historical significance of the region. From the Neanderthals to the Romans and Moors, everyone has left their traces to be admired. - We were there in November. At this time of year, it is not advisable to shower in the dark, as the light only works with motion detectors and the sanitary facilities are not heated. The site is quiet except for the occasional noise from the dogs of fellow campers. The store on site is good and has a good range of products. The baguettes are delicious! The staff are friendly and helpful, giving advice on excursions and tips. The sanitary facilities are clean and up to the standard of the site. So you turn right and then turn left to cross the main road. +++++ The staff at reception are friendly and speak English, and sometimes German. You can... choose your own pitch, but at the beginning of April many pitches were already full. ++++ The sanitary facilities are functional, but sometimes quite dirty (especially in the morning) due to the guests staying here. The staff hardly keep up with the cleaning, although we were able to find them there several times. +++++ There is often a very strong wind in this area. The site is therefore only of very limited use for a beach vacation, but for good surfers/kiters it is probably a dream due to its location! A very pleasant site, nice green pitches, shower and toilets in reasonably good condition. Good swimming pool with lifeguard. Safe and fairly quiet site. Wifi a liitle disapointing as you need to be close to reception to get a signal. Walk out under the rd and you are almost in the centre of the beach.

Hans S.May 2010The site is also located on the coastal road like Camping Torre de la Peña I and belongs to the same operators. Here they have installed a pitch a little off the road (50m) which is much easier to access. After the gentleman at reception had finished his half-hour phone call, he spoke to me in very good... German. The first thing he talked about were the discounts. The site is more spacious and the pitches, some of which are under medium-height trees and occasionally separated by hedges, are pleasant to drive onto. There are many young people who come to Tarife for windsurfing or kitesurfing.Automatikusan lefordítva.
