Short vacation in Belgium
There are very few pitches for motorhomes and caravans. The focus is on rental properties and permanent tenants. Rather unsuitable for very large motorhomes. Directly on the railway embankment, but the trains are surprisingly quiet. Knokke is easily accessible by bike.

The campsite is located on a road and next to a railroad line. A suburban train or a train passes by every 20 minutes. It didn't really bother us. It was a bit unusual, but after 1 day it was okay. Very nice lady at the reception, immediately gave us her cell phone number in case of emergency at night.... 15 minutes walk to the wide beach of Heist. 10 minutes walk to the shopping center. Toilets were cleaned once a day. Hot water showers included in the price, unfortunately you had to keep pressing the shower button as the water ran out every 10 seconds to save water. Chip shop directly in front of the campsite. Lots of mobile homes, less tourist traffic. W-Lan available, small kiosk, bread rolls available. All in all nice.
