You have to buy extra tokens for the poorly repaired showers because the operator, in this case the municipality of Lohsa, is unable to implement a sensible disposal concept.
It is a pity that no value is... placed on tourism here.
We can only hope that the decisions made in the past will be reconsidered at some point.

The paths to the sanitary facilities are sometimes very long. The facilities themselves are well maintained.
Unfortunately, families, senior citizens and youth groups are mixed together. We didn't really get a good night's sleep, as the party really gets... going at midnight and lasts until 4am. The first children are awake again shortly before 7am. I can therefore only recommend this place for people who like to party. It is also the only swimming area in the former open-cast mine. No swimming supervision. There is a kiosk on the site where you can order bread rolls, a beach bistro with a good menu and the Waldschänke on the doorstep.... The nearest restaurants are in Friedersdorf, about 2 km away and just under 3 km away. The Lindenschänke (?) in Steinitz (approx. 2-3 km) directly in the village center is charming. Good home cooking. The place has (unfortunately) as often in the "new countries" no fixed parcelling. Driving away and getting the same place again is therefore a question... (at least when there is a lot going on). Likewise, "neighbors" can "move up" rather closely. It is a pity that there is only one fully equipped sanitary building, in the older building you miss - depending on the pitch - the showers. Shower use (hot water) with shower coins. Nevertheless, the price/performance ratio is perfectly acceptable and gives no cause for complaint. Access token for the barrier system 10 € deposit (cars should generally be parked outside in large parking lots, which limits the "nuisance" and is positive). However, you can also "rent" the access road. Key for the new wash house also 10 € deposit. We didn't remember the shower coins :-) I mean 60 cents for 5 minutes. Textile, naturist and dog bathing area available (close together), sunbathing lawn and sandy beach. Good water quality in the lake. Bicycles (can also be rented) or a car are recommended for shopping and eating. Many excursions are possible in the surrounding area in Lusatia. The lake is only open for swimming, no motor boats, no fishing. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful. Once a year there is a big beach volleyball tournament on the site. There are also other events and information on the website. Reception is available by email (sometimes takes a while to get back to you) and telephone (sometimes voicemail) and will get back to you.Automatikusan lefordítva.
