Outside the village, bicycle or car recommendedFriendly and uncomplicatedFriendly reception, pitch allocation by bike, several sanitary blocks, mostly clean, it just depends on who was there before you and whether they had a good upbringing, some short-term pitches are located between ancient, permanent facilities with garden gnome idyll and somewhat old and run-down looking... front gardens and facilities, it also has a certain camper charm,
The site is on the edge of the forest and about 2 km from the town, where there are a few shops.
All in all recommendable, as the price is absolutely fine, although I found the electricity too expensive, connection fee, flat rate for one day and what goes over 5 kw, another 0.70 euros per kwAutomatikusan lefordítva.

We had a pitch with a view of Schillingsfürst Castle.
Unfortunately we didn't visit the store or the restaurant as we really like Franconian products (Gehäck, Bratwurst and Leberkäse)... and our stay was too short. We will change this next year.
Sanitary facilities are older but EVERY TIME CLEAN.

When we wanted to supply the caravan with electricity, the connections had no voltage. The operator took care of it, but it took some time. In itself a nice place if you are not already bothered by all kinds of gardening and landscaping... equipment at half past nine in the morning during breakfast. Nothing against mowing the lawn. Here, however, the dirt cutter etc. was being used. There was also a kind of wheel loader driving around us. You had the feeling of being on a building site. The whole operation had the background that the operator then positioned a brass band behind our pitch and then celebrated here even after 10 pm. Partly with karaoke that filled the whole place with sound. When we and other guests asked the operator to stop the music after 10pm, he reacted with incomprehension and became overbearing. We were even threatened to leave the place on the spot. However, things then calmed down. Although the operator then apologized to us, we are left with a bad memory of the site. Why weren't we given a pitch in the upper area, a little further away? You also don't have to understand why you have to have your private parties on a campsite where the guests are on vacation and looking for peace and quiet. Even if this was perhaps just an "exception", it really shook us up. Never again...Automatikusan lefordítva.

If I should say it in short form: Clean, very friendly staff, thanks for the pizza in the evening!, quiet, close to the highway, reasonably priced! What more could you want? But I will come back to this campsite for a longer stay, I really liked it. % stars!

Rothenburg ob der Tauber not far away as well as other sights on the romantic road. Operator couple only took over the site in 2019 and are renovating it. Sanitary building clean and warm. Very warm and friendly welcome, which is rare these days. Arrival until 10 p.m., a rarity!!!, easy to reach from the A6 and A7. - jonas r.July 2018Quiet and great location!!!Thank you very much for the stay. There were three of us with the caravan on the Frankenhöhe. Very uncomplicated contact when we asked for one or two nights for the transit: "No problem, always something free. Just set up in the meadow, choose a corner." The perfect place to sleep when passing through,... as it's 5-10 minutes from the highway, but beautifully located in the countryside and super quiet. Everything you need is there: Playground, bread roll service, refreshments, outdoor pool 300m, supermarket and DIY store 1km, petrol station 2km ... If you have time, you should definitely visit Schillingsfürst: a beautiful castle with an interesting history, falconry demonstrations and good places to eat.Automatikusan lefordítva.

Close to the highway and quiet. The pitches for us transit campers are unparceled and can be chosen freely. The groundskeepers are somewhat taciturn but friendly. Bread roll service in the morning. The small restaurant on the site is closed... on Mondays. However, you can still enjoy a beer or a glass of wine after work in the bar under the covered terrace just behind reception. The ACSI card was accepted. Paved overnight pitches would be nice. In February 2018 there was snow and the ground was frozen. This was pleasant, so no mud. There was no pre-ordering of bread rolls at this time of year and the restaurant... was also closed. The sanitary building was perfectly fine. The facilities were clean. Everything was of a good, normal standard. We have already visited the beautiful town of Ansbach twice from here. In April we had a good meal in Schillingsfürst near the castle. A good place for us. We did so and were rewarded with friendliness. The Camper-Stüble offers a small menu and is open in the evening from 6 to 8.30 pm. The kiosk with covered seating offers drinks until 10 pm.
