It is small & cozy, which is absolutely no disadvantage.
Modern sanitary facilities. The fact that it wasn't spotlessly clean 24 hours a day was due to the weather: you carried the dirt from your shoes into the building.
Very friendly staff. Steep... driveway. TT table, games for the kids. Shower token 1 euro for 8 minutes.
Our pitch was big enough for a car, camper van and awning. You could still move around.
Nearest shopping facilities 4 km away.
TOP area for wine lovers
Many excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity. Informative flyers are available directly on site.
If you go to the sani at night, you need a flashlight. The paths are not illuminated.

Very nice 🥰 In 20 min distance (bike) there is a forest tavern ("Neuer Berg"), which offers very good and regional food. Highly recommended!!! "We're only coming for one night"
Suddenly, 24 hours after my phone call with his wife, her husband gave... me a rejection via the camping app request. You don't have to understand, but the daily rush is probably so great that the contradictory statements probably overlapped 😏
To be on the safe side, I phoned Mrs. Stauber again on the day I arrived and referred to her promise.
"Yes.... but it has rained a lot and the roaches are very muddy, but ...., mmh well... it would only be one night"
We arrived on the basis of the telephone confirmation: the site was deserted and many pitches were unoccupied. The welcome was very taciturn and there were no dog welcome tins either, as we had probably been there for too short a time.
The owner sold us 2 shower tokens in quick succession and when we returned the two tokens we had bought by mistake (my husband thought I hadn't bought any on arrival), she didn't charge us for the excess tokens when we paid.
Conclusion: A place that probably only creates the desired friendly atmosphere for permanent campers (Google reviews 🧐)

Unfortunately, it doesn't have its own bread roll service or a small store. The operators are very, very nice and helpful - the whole place is very informal.
The sanitary building may not look great in the photos, but it is very... modern inside and always clean.
There is a nice terrace for tents, among other things. The showers and sanitary facilities are clean.

The site is laid out on terraces and offers a beautiful view, although it would be beneficial for the sunlight and view if the trees, some of which are... tall, were trimmed a little.
There are a lot of permanent camping pitches, some of which look a little deserted.

A pedelec is recommended for cycling tours. We were given a friendly welcome. We missed WLAN - there is one kilometer away in Kleingartach - at Bobo's restaurant. If you are looking for a nice place with exemplary management, this is the place for you! The starting point for tours and hikes in the surrounding area (Tripsdrill).... Rarely have I found a campsite where I was so happy straight away. Very clean and lovingly maintained. Terrace location, spacious pitches, some of which are shaded by well-kept trees.
