We only stayed one night and didn't use the swimming lake. Wash house too small for too many people. No soap, no disinfectant. 2 showers. Water ran over from the side shower. No garbage cans. At the garbage place 1 container that overflowed. All the garbage piled up next to it. Night... lighting on the paths defective. The restaurant was also not inviting. The beach chairs and chair cushions full of stains. Pitches are easy to access for transit campers, a somewhat long walk to the wash house.NegatívumokWe were told at the registration desk that there is no toilet paper in the sanitary building or WC, so you have to bring your own. Ah yes! Which I still understand to some extent. What is not possible at all, especially in times of Corona (negative test had to be presented at check-in) there is neither soap nor disinfectant in the sanitary building! No hand dryer or wipes - you can discuss that, but NO soap! Not possible at all.Passing throughIf you're looking for peace and quiet, you'll find it here.

The nearest shopping facilities are approx. 7 km awayQuiet place by the lake without the hustle and bustleThe campsite is in a quiet location away from any roads. You can hike or just go for a walk directly from the site. The pitches for short breaks down by the lake are not yet fully equipped with CE plugs; an adapter for a normal socket is required.
The restaurant is very good, the Zinn family focuses... on regional cuisine and organic products. There is also a natural swimming pool next to the restaurant.
The path to the sanitary building, which is located in the upper part of the campsite, is a little long, so there is no need to rush. The same goes for the disposal of the camping toilet, so it's better to drive up the hill by car.
There are no shopping facilities in Wallenstein, there is a trout farm 4 km away and in Remsfeld - approx. 7 km away - there is a bakery, drinks shop and supermarket.

There are places especially for travelers passing through. There is a restaurant with delicious food right next to the site and a natural swimming pool. Although there was a large group of young people on the site, it was very quiet. We were allocated a suitable but not very nice pitch. It was also quite uneven. We realized too late that we would probably have been better off on the adjacent, paved motorhome pitch. After the somewhat complicated installation, however, we... were able to enjoy swimming in the natural pond, a visit to the castle and a good dinner. Please note: 2017 was a wet year when we were there. You could almost forget the pitches at the bottom, not usable, even for camper vans, but especially for real tent campers. We received a friendly welcome and were instructed immediately so that we could leave the camper hitched up and continue our journey the next morning. Unfortunately, the overnight pitches - in front of the barrier - are a bit uneven, so you have... to try out how best to stand. We were impressed by the location and surroundings of the campsite. We also only encountered friendly staff in the restaurant, who were also able to serve very tasty food with a regional focus. We didn't really expect this, as the campsite is a little off the beaten track between two highway access roads, which means you have to drive for some time on small country roads. However, we also found the path - uphill - to the sanitary facilities to be relatively long and, as previous comments have already noted, very dark at night.Automatikusan lefordítva.

This means that from 10 p.m. you have quite a long way to the wash house and it is only very sparsely lit at night. However, the pitch right on the lakeshore and the view of the campsite's own castle ruins make up for this.
