- Andrea F.June 2017Pozitívumok- Own sanitary facilities on site - Well maintained siteNegatívumok- Price-performance ratio not right for us - long distancesNo campsite for "real campingWe spontaneously stayed at the Holiday Marina in June 2017. Our first negative impression was at check-in. We had to book for at least three nights and pay for them in advance. One night cost €62, which was at least twice as expensive compared to the pitches on our previous trip in the low season. At... least we were able to take a quick look at the pitch beforehand and were even driven there and back in a golf cart. We also had to pay a deposit for the private "sanitary container" and fridge (in case of damage). The really positive thing is that each pitch is equipped with its own small bathroom in a container and a small fridge (which we didn't use). The pitch also has its own sink. Both had hot water. The pitches themselves are rather small and parceled out by hedges. Unfortunately, the majority of the campsite is equipped with mobile homes, and only a small part is (still?) for campers. This made us feel uncomfortable. Although the site is very well maintained and nicely laid out, it is also uniform and has more the style and charm of a vacation home estate. The pool area is inviting, but the "bathing rules" for the men, who have to wear tight-fitting Lycra swimming trunks and are not allowed to wear swimming shorts, were annoying. As we have small children who wanted to splash around there and we had to book three nights, we had to buy two new pairs of swimming trunks. This seems to be common in French swimming pools, but there were no such rules at previous campsites. The children's pool went down well with our little ones (1+3 yrs). Unfortunately, it wasn't cleaned once in the three days, so there were pieces of foam from broken pool noodles and dirt floating around in it. The large pool was clean and we also saw the "lifeguards" taking water samples. The "lifeguards" acted more like sheriffs. They seem to be mainly responsible for ensuring that the dress code is observed and for sending children under the age of 16 who are in the pool unaccompanied by their parents out again. The whirlpool can also only be used from the age of 16. We were most annoyed that the pool loungers had to be rented on Saturday and Sunday. For a hefty €7/day. We can't say whether this is only the case at weekends or whether this is a general change. The restaurant and the lounge/bar of the campsite are beautifully situated and the playground and climbing frame next to the restaurant are also great for parents. The restaurant is certainly not a chip shop. But the prices seemed a little excessive for the food on offer. However, we only ate there once and are perhaps not in a good position to judge. The burger was very good, the pasta ok, but a little light. The salad consisted only of iceberg lettuce with a few strips of chicken and some parmesan, which was a bit low for €16. The location of the campsite is on a busy main road. You have to cross it if you want to go into town or to the beach. The existing crosswalk was mostly ignored by drivers. However, we did not notice any negative noise from the main road on the campsite. The site is bordered by a river on one side, which certainly gives the mobile home tenants there a great view. You can probably also moor your own boat at the jetties there. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the beach and a little less to the village of Port Grimaud, as the beach is at the end of the route. The town is worth a visit and you can take a boat trip to Saint Tropez, for example. The beach is also very beautiful, but is not fine sand. There is a lot on offer for water sports enthusiasts on the beach - diving, windsurfing, paragliding etc.... An artist/singer performed on a stage at the bar every evening. We did not watch this and therefore cannot judge it. We can't say anything about other entertainment either. Overall, the campsite was just too "fancy" for us and not enough of a campsite, but more like a vacation resort. Objectively, there are not many disadvantages, but we still didn't feel comfortable.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Fa K.April 2016PozitívumokHeated, private bathroom on the pitchNegatívumok...a bit noisy at the back towards the main roadVery neat....Nice CP under polite, competent English management. We were there over Easter with the motorhome. Own bathroom container on the pitch, very clean and practical, heated with endless hot water. Heated outdoor pool and whirlpool - great for the kids. Affordable prices in the low season. Excursions to Saint-Tropez possible by excursion boat from the harbor.Automatikusan lefordítva.

- Lukas B.August 2014Pozitívumok- nice pool - clean facility - you feel safe - separate, guarded parking spaces for cars available - waste separationNegatívumok- Street is relatively loud - Private bathroom is not handicapped accessible - Fuses can only be reset by staffBeautiful campsite under English managementThe site itself is relatively straightforward. Very clean, paths are completely paved. The pitches are sandy with hedges separating them from the neighbors. Each pitch has its own private bathroom with shower, washbasin and towel dryer. There are four large storage compartments. Outside there is a separate... sink with (too) hot water (cold water is only available under the sink). The staff are friendly and only speak English and French. The site is completely under English management, which is also reflected in the tidiness and cleanliness of the site. Access to the pool is locked by a number code secured door. The pool is clean, the sun loungers are fairly new and the cushions are very comfortable. Sunshades are available. There is also something negative to say: In the private bathroom there is a threat to clean it before leaving, otherwise the deposit can be withheld, although final cleaning is not the customer's responsibility. In the swimming pool there is a 4Euro charge for sun loungers in high season. In the pool (in the water) you may only wear swimwear that fits tightly, swimming shorts are strictly forbidden -> is also controlled by the staff. The crossing to the other road (cycle path and beach) is very dangerous.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Peter Z.August 2014Positively surprisedWow, that was a pleasant surprise. After searching in vain for a pitch at around 7-8 campsites near St. Tropez during the high season, we found what we were looking for here. At first we were a little put off by the 5 stars (expensive), but it wasn't that bad. A pitch was available from EUR 65 including... everything, i.e. 2 people, electricity, water and a private bathroom. Yes, every pitch has its own private bathroom with toilet, washbasin and shower. That was really great and the site was otherwise very clean and recommendable. Only the nearby road made a bit of noise at night. We would come back at any time.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Lisa S.June 2010PozitívumokSwimming pool EntertainmentNegatívumok20-30min walk to the beachFamily vacationWe stayed there several times with our extended family. The campsite is about 20-30 minutes walk from the beach. But there is a swimming pool on site. Entertainment and food were always very good.Automatikusan lefordítva.
