But I'd rather sleep at a rest stop.Negatívumok- Dirty sanitary facilities - Constant noise - Amusement park for the locals - Dog excrement on the lawn - Not a second of peace - You can't leave anything, really NOTHING outside without fear of it being stolen I could go on and on, but I think it's clear that I can't recommend this place under any circumstancesWorst campsite I have ever been to in over 15 years in CroatiaWe were planning to stay there for a long time with the camper. Already on the second evening, WHILE we were in the camper, our table, chairs and flip-flops were stolen. The site actually had a special offer, but this only applies for stays of 3 nights or more. Despite the incident, we were not accommodated... at all and had to pay the normal price. The site is full of locals around the clock, from morning to night, even during the week (children playing, joggers, cyclists, walkers with dogs, young people getting drunk, even homeless people asking for money). We were here in the low season, but peace and quiet is not to be expected at any time. You are watched by the locals for everything you do and feel very uncomfortable. I strongly advise against this place, especially in the low season. There are much better places. Too bad about the beautiful area, we would have liked to have seen more.Automatikusan lefordítva.

Water not up to Croatian standards.Campsite with upward potentialVery nicely located campsite. We were traveling with a dog. However, the dog beach leaves a lot to be desired. It is difficult to use the beach together with boats. After an hour we knew why: the pitches are marked, but it felt like chaos. It was impossible to relax in the evening as the road noise could be heard very clearly on the category B pitches. Sea right by the campsiteNegatívumokWash house somewhat overloaded in the main sessionSummer, sun, sunshineWe are in Croatia for the first time with friends at the Camp Galeb campsite. In August during the peak season. Access to the campsite was easy. We drove in with our camper van and trailer. The paths on the site are a bit narrow, but manageable with large caravans. The pitches are big enough. We were... able to store everything. And still had space left over. The sea is right on the doorstep. This stretch of beach is sandy, not stone or pebbles as is usual in Croatia. You can walk very far into the sea until it gets really deep. Really great for children. You can also go shopping without having to walk any further. There is a shopping center right in front of the campsite. And you can also walk to Omiš in about 20 minutes. Very nice town center with bars and restaurants. All in all a great place. Also reasonably priced. With a wash house a little less. Could be a bit tight at the showers in the evening but with a little patience and a chat with the neighbors not tragic. There was always a woman cleaning. Good access to the sea two showers directly on the beach. Two pools, I can't rate them (why use a pool when the sea is right next to it). There is a large supermarket at the entrance to the campsite. You can walk to the old town in 15 minutes. My personal recommendation is a boat trip with a pirate to the island of Brac. Even if the only wash house is older, it may well be clean. But if shower doors can no longer be closed because the frame is swollen and black, then we have no understanding for that. Overall, the campsite made an unkempt impression, even from the... outside area. The staff were very unfriendly. Too bad, because the place has potential due to its location. We won't go there again. The sandy beach is really great, but unfortunately there aren't enough sanitary facilities for the masses of people in high season. The cleaners did their best, but it was often not clean. The reception is open 24 hours a day and everyone there is friendly.... However, you can tell that the focus is on renting out mobile homes. We had a free choice of pitches which wasn't difficult because most of the pitches were free, big enough and with water and waste water. For water you should have a hose, but it was also possible. Sanitary everything clean, unfortunately... some guests make the dirt, just don't know the brush :-( Beach was also good for the dog, nobody complained :-) was empty. Staff friendly and helpful. Bread only outside in the supermarket. But it's right on the doorstep and I'd rather not talk about the container apartments. It's like a ghetto. Almost no space in 4 rows and the last ones are right on the Adriatic highway. I was there for the first time in 1979, it has changed. We will probably go there again. Omis is also beautiful and can be reached on foot in 10 minutes.Automatikusan lefordítva.- Elisabeth W.September 2017PozitívumokProximity to the old townNegatívumokDog beach dirty, expensiveCompletely overcrowdedAlthough I enquired 3 weeks before our vacation in September, I was not advised to make a reservation. The result was that we only just managed to get the last usable pitch when we arrived and it really wasn't nice. Small, in the far corner and unfortunately half occupied by the neighbor with the tent... ... Luckily we were able to move the next day (costs 50 kuna!). The staff didn't tell us that we could have a card for the barrier, so we had to go to reception several times a day to get the barrier opened for us. Tedious. There is no store on the site itself, but it is right in front of the campsite and well stocked. The proximity to the old town was great, many restaurants are within walking distance. There are a lot of dogs on site, but it was never noisy. However, the dog beach was littered and blocked up.... - You certainly didn't want to go there often. A better solution could certainly have been found. There is also no sign indicating the dog beach, on the contrary, the large sign at the entrance says: no dogs on the beach. That's not how I had imagined it. The restaurant at the campsite is okay, but nothing more, and too expensive. As countless mobile homes have been built around the campsite, you almost feel surrounded. BUT: the town of Omis is really worth a visit, the proximity to the town is great and there are lots of excursion options.Automatikusan lefordítva.
