(Stairs) Chemical WC disposal in the sanitary building and only accessible via steps.Surprise near the highwayWe only ended up here by chance, as we had to make a stopover heading south with a broken car and caravan in the back. Very nice campsite near the highway, on a small lake (currently no bathing) where you can also arrive at a later hour. (Possible during restaurant opening hours.) Very nice and hospitable... operator couple. Lots of greenery and extensive grounds, some with many trees and beautiful pitches. Pitches for short overnight stays paved in the entrance area and with supply station nearby. Sanitary facilities tip top, well heated, hot water, soap and towels everywhere free of charge. However, the sanitary facilities are not barrier-free. Cozy beer garden and beautiful, wood-furnished restaurant with home-style cooking at reasonable prices. Regional beer (Hirsch) very tasty. If you don't have a camping car with you, you can spend the night in cozy wooden pods. Bad Dürrheim thermal baths and many other excursions nearby. We will

The campsite has a small playground for kids, a fenced-in dog run, and a small restaurant/snack bar(see below). There is a new owner who has taken over as of the beginning of 2019 and is making improvements step by step.... The campers seemed to be overwhelmingly aging residential/long-term campers. Though we had reserved a pitch, we were allocated to a large, open, un-demarcated field marked as tent meadow on the camping map. Most of the travelers seemed to have been sent to this open pitch. The ground was very soggy from the rain and we had a difficult time stabilizing the caravan. // INFRASTRUCTURE: The water connection was right at the entrance to the field. Depending on one’s location on the field, the water is quite far away. This could be improved. Wi-Fi is only available close to the main building and restaurant. // SANITARY FACILITIES: There are very nice, renovated toilets by the main building (reception/restaurant). There is only one sanitary facility with showers for the rest of the site. It is in need of modernization. At registration, one receives a chip. Not only must this be used for entrance to the campsite, but also for access to the sanitary facilities. That means if you have to go to the bathroom (e.g., in the middle of the night) and forget your chip, you cannot get in. The chip is used to start the hot water in the showers. Hot water is charged at a fair price, but the time does not stop when you turn off the water (e.g., when shampooing). You have to manually press a button to stop the time from counting down. If you remove the chip before pressing the button, it results in an error and the following person has no hot water until it is cleared. All in all, we found this system arcane and unpractical. However, the owner explained that people are inconsiderate in the amount of water they use. So he intends to keep this system (or a coin-based system) for ecological reasons rather than converting to a flat fee. We found this aim admirable. // RESTAURANT: We found the restaurant belonging to the campsite expensive for what is served and the service a bit unfriendly. We asked for salt and pepper. It was never brought to us. We asked twice and waited 15 minutes for the bill even though the restaurant was only half full. Thinking that we should give the restaurant a second chance, we went down again in the evening after dinner when they were much less busy. We ordered a bottle of wine. Along with that, we asked for some tap water. We were told unceremoniously that they do not serve tap water—not even for a small fee. For a purportedly ecological campsite (“Naturcamping”) we were surprised that we would have to purchase bottled water that needs to be processed, packaged and transported rather than be able to drink the perfectly good and available tap water that we were even willing to pay for. We spoke to the owner and he said he would follow up on why water wasn’t given to us on request. // SUMMARY: A very lovely campsite that is slowly ironing out its small defects.

A wonderful view of the lake, a great restaurant and a super nice garden bar with very friendly staff. On arrival (February) I drove to the... registration desk in front of the barrier, didn't see the waiting lane, immediately received a strong reprimand, certainly my fault, but still, that's no way to deal with customers, I didn't feel very comfortable anymore, left the site after two days, so the staff can still work a little on friendliness.Automatikusan lefordítva.

We received a very warm welcome at reception, which you don't experience everywhere, especially not in high season. We were lucky and there were plenty of pitches available, we were even able to choose our own pitch, which was very... large. The sanitary facilities were very clean and well-maintained, everything you need was there. We also found the billing of the showers by chip completely in order, especially in today's time, where otherwise people always stand under the shower for hours and consume water unnecessarily. The restaurant is also highly recommended, everything is freshly prepared and tastes good. Wi-Fi is free, doesn't work everywhere because of the trees, but you're on vacation and it's perfectly adequate and the beautiful trees provide shade. The site is very clean and well maintained, which also applies to the sanitary blocks! I liked the access system with a transponder chip that every guest receives. There is a € 10 credit on it. You need the chip for all entrances,... whether toilet or wash house. It is also used to authorize and charge the hot water in the shower to the minute. You can easily explore the surrounding area from here and get plenty of suggestions. However, it was a pity that we could hear the highway, as we were on the upper part of the pitch. The CP has 12 gravel pitches with a great view of the neighboring lake/pond. We were given a very, very nice welcome. Access to the sanitary facilities and dishwashing room was only possible with a chip. Kiosk with bread roll service still possible in November. Cleanliness was absolutely worth mentioning! Due to the short stay, we cannot allow ourselves to make a complete judgment, but would recommend the site without reservation after our first impressions. A colorful mix of permanent campers and tourists, good coexistence. Very quiet! Small restaurant with good food, cakes and ice cream! Very friendly site management, sanitary facilities are older but clean, the bathing lake is murky but the water is clean, swimming... at your own risk. Good cycling opportunities along the young Danube or towards the Black Forest, many excursion possibilities. A highlight for children is the extraordinary playground on the lakeshore, right next to the restaurant. They tried to instruct us in the customs of the campsite, lecturing and pointing fingers. The extremely cumbersome handling of the sanitary facilities left nothing to be desired. Furthermore, we were accused of not registering a possible dog.... It could be that they had simply forgotten about it 😠. We felt like we were being patronized so we refrained from using the campsite within a very short time. Fortunately, we moved on. Note on the snack bar: We reserved three seats for dinner at 5.00 pm for 7.00 pm. When we wanted to order shortly before 7pm, we were told "the kitchen is closed". Only when I insisted that we had made a special reservation were we served a sausage salad. You need this to get into the wash houses and when showering you put the chip in a device and after pressing a button hot water flows out of the shower for 1 minute. As I am a quick showerer, 20 cents is enough for me. I think that's... better than throwing 50 cents in. It also avoids the constant showering and waiting when pubescent teenagers take long showers. That's how it should be, at least for us. Dog owners are also well catered for here. A large fenced-in area with its own lake for the four-legged friends. It couldn't be better. There is also a nice adventure playground, volleyball court, bowling green and a barbecue area with covered seating. I read somewhere that you're not allowed to barbecue with coal on the site, but I'll have to find out more about that. In the mornings and evenings, an employee does his rounds and collects cigarette butts and garbage. It couldn't be better. Site beautifully situated on the lake. Had a good pitch, which are laid out in terraces. Great for dogs, with extra free-range area, where there is even a small pond. At the entrance is the kiosk, restaurant, which only offers small dishes from 8 pm.... The kiosk sells fresh bread rolls in the morning and other essentials. The adventure playground seems to be newly built and was the highlight for our children. The operators and staff were very nice and friendly. The sanitary blocks were very clean and intact. The only downside to the facility is that you get a chip with 10 euros of credit stored on it. This allows access to the sanitary facilities. If you have to go in a hurry and don't have a chip with you, you suffer. Showers are charged by time using the chip. You pay for electricity by the kilowatt hour, but all in all it is still cheap.
