Statement: "I don't know". Only 12 of over 200 pitches mowed, but not raked. Sanitary building not cleaned for 3 days, full of grass clippings. Toilet doors could not be locked as they were so warped that they were stuck at the top.... Searched for electricity connection, found it in the stinging nettles under the untrimmed hedges. The site is on the edge of the town, near a lake (not a bathing lake). The quiet site has two large, clean wash houses. We were greeted warmly at the registration desk and asked if we would like bread rolls for the next morning.... The site is ideally located for excursions by bike or car to Bremerhaven (Klimahaus, Auswandererhaus), Cuxhaven or Otterndorf. The nearby lake is ideal for a walk. There is a restaurant on site and several more within walking distance in the village. Fresh smoked fish is available next to the campsite. There is a Camping Berger in the village for anyone lacking equipment. Electricity included! The site and the sanitary facilities (showers without coins) make a clean and well-kept impression. Certainly the charm of other times can be felt, but as I said,... well maintained. We didn't visit the restaurant, but it seems to attract guests! W-LAN 5.-/day Price/performance ratio not ok.Place with 70s standardA site characterized by permanent campers with 70s standards. Sanitary buildings are all in need of renovation and unkempt. Dog droppings lie on the paths and pitches and are carried into the sanitary buildings by stepping in them, which were not cleaned at all on some days, although the site was well... attended due to public holidays. Overall, the site appeared unkempt. Bread roll service is offered, but there are no other shopping facilities on the site. W-Lan is offered, costs 5.- Euro per day. Restaurant closed - currently no operator. We are very sorry that your stay with us was not to your satisfaction. Please allow us to make a brief statement about your experience below: We have taken your criticism very much to... heart and have intensified our daily cleaning and checks. In the meantime, we have increased the number of staff. We will also be renovating our sanitary facilities in the coming season. It is a pity that you found our facilities to be unkempt. The tenor of several conversations with permanent campers and regular guests was that our outdoor facilities on the campsite are in better shape than ever before.
