Beautifully situated CPL. on a peninsula surrounded by lots of water. Numerous opportunities for water sports. Fishing, boating, sailing, swimming. There is also a lovely large playground for children. Tennis courts and skating rink and bike rental with go-karts also... available. The pitches are large enough and are divided into dog and dog-free. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. The friendly reception is happy to help with any requests. Unfortunately, you can't spontaneously get a pitch on a long weekend or in the main season. So you have to book in advance, which speaks for itself in favor of the campsite. There is a store where you can get bread rolls and have breakfast! The restaurant, which is situated a little higher up with a great view of the Maas, offers good food. There is a snack bar if you are hungry in between! Our verdict: A beautifully maintained campsite that is well worth the money. The site is very spacious and offers rental accommodation as well as pitches and permanent pitches. The sanitary facilities are in very modern containers and are... always clean. A small ferry right next to the site connects you well to the town, especially if you have your bike with you. It can get noisy during the vacations as there are lots of children there. However, you only get the real feeling if you're right on the water, i.e. if you get a place in the first row. You have to book early or come sometime outside the season. The sanitary facilities are good, but slightly elevated (high water). So if you're not good on your feet,... you won't like having to climb the stairs all the time. There is a snack bar and a restaurant. Unfortunately, the snack bar is not always open. Bread rolls are also available, but not at all times of the year. The pitches that are not by the water, i.e. in the middle of the square, are quite cramped when it is full. To sum up, the site is really worthwhile. Dominated by permanent campers. The core business is the marina for rather large boats and the rental of vacation homes and mobile homes. The pitches are spacious and there are lots of play facilities for... children. The wash house we saw was a nicely clad container ensemble built on concrete stilts due to the risk of flooding. Not independently accessible for wheelchair users. Everything made a well-kept impression. In the evening there was an event in the restaurant, which also sounded well after 11 pm. The chip shop was good and cheap by NL standards. Otherwise nothing negative at allwell-kept place in a sophisticated atmosphereWe spent a long weekend in May testing our new tent. After being turned down three times in the 2017 season because everything was fully booked, we were delighted when it worked out after all. The marina and campsite are practically within sight of Roermond. It quickly becomes clear that the number of... permanent pitches is significantly higher than the number of tourist pitches, and almost all the pitches with a view of the Maas are reserved for permanent campers. Too bad, but okay. Large playground, chip shop, jetty, huge dog run, it's all there. The sanitary blocks are simple but well maintained. The only thing that annoys me is that the showers and toilets are not separate. While I was showering, someone next to me had a big appointment. Unattractive, just unattractive. The pitches are large, with electricity, water and waste water at an estimated 20 m intervals, so they are easily accessible. The weather was great and we were able to enjoy the unique location. Boats, fishermen, water sports, etc., really great. Away from the campsite were the yachts and vacation homes, but that was a completely different target audience. The restaurant was adequate, we didn't dare go in with our kids, too posh and too expensive. But: all in all, we had 3 wonderful days with lots of fun for a top price (with ACSI). Norbert A.September 2017PozitívumokBeautiful surroundings and a beautiful city RoermondNegatívumokUnfortunately everything is closed in the off-seasonRating of Marina-OolderhuuskeAfter three weeks stay - August-September 17 - on the 5 star campsite in the off-season Marina-Oolderhuuske in the Netherlands near Roermond on a peninsula which is very beautifully situated, I noticed some negative things about this that do not actually belong to a 5 star campsite In rainy weather,... the tourist pitches in the back rows (N-M) are filled with water.Also the 3 sanitary containers which are on concrete pedestals because of high water and could only be climbed with a steep staircase are not to be called good.the absolute highlight was that a disabled toilet was installed on all three...there was immediately the doubt how this should fit together!???? The dishes had to be washed outside and in the shower rooms you were on the verge of pneumonia...but the 5 star sanitary facilities really do exist - you just have to find them!!! Well - in the off-season almost everything is closed until the weekend and you have to resort to your own vehicle or bicycle. The location of the campsite is particularly attractive and I would like to spend a few days there again in the high season because then the doors are open.Automatikusan lefordítva.

Super restaurant (not quite cheap), fresh bread rolls, great, friendly, German-speaking service, all kinds of water sports (also for hire and learning), small beaches, in short, everything is great and of high quality. The unusual, varied play and sports... equipment for children and young people is particularly noteworthy. However, we felt that the sanitary facilities (raised, covered containers, probably due to the risk of flooding), which seem quite basic compared to many other campsites, were not up to the standard of the other campsites. We also missed more trees, hedges or other possibilities for more comfort, privacy and atmosphere in the caravan/motorhome area. What we hadn't considered was that not only were all the boats chugging back and forth, but some also thought they had to let everyone know who was coming and really rev the engine just within sight of the site. The sanitary buildings are on stilts, most likely due to... the high water. As a result, you always had to climb up and down steep steps to reach them. Unchanged TOP. Convinced with friendliness and the very well-kept and always clean facility. Friends with children (8 and 11 years old) were equally impressed. The campsite offers something for everyone. Only the free WiFi is inadequate (mostly no internet connection... on weekends). 2015: We stayed at the campsite twice this year, in May and August, from Thursday to Sunday. We always received a very friendly welcome, even at 9:30 pm. Although characterized by permanent campers, still quiet. Pitches either directly on the water or at least with a view of the water. The site makes a very well-kept impression, top sanitary facilities. Ideal for excursions by bike. Beautiful surroundings and close to Roermond. At the reception you are welcomed friendly and we could even choose a place, which is not always the case. Unfortunately, it is impossible to spontaneously drive to the campsite in the high season or on long weekends, unless you have made a reservation in advance !!!! There is a store where you can get bread rolls or have breakfast! The restaurant is located a little above with a view of the Maas, and of course a good kitchen Ala carte or buffet!
