But everything is doable if you take it easy. It is important to follow the signs SS145 to Sorrento and then to Massa Lubrense, not the navigation system. In Sorrento Piano and Sorrento, the SS145... makes a detour around the town center.
The pitches with panoramic views are quite narrow, we could only just manage to extend the awning. But the view is magnificent.
In my opinion, the site is not suitable for a beach vacation, no decent beach and difficult access via many steps.
On the other hand, the whole area with the Amalfi Coast, Capri and the immediate surroundings of Sorrento can be explored very well from here thanks to good bus and boat connections. But then you want to keep going because you can hear the rattling Vespas and honking buses all the time.
There is a small store with all the essentials and a simple restaurant. The pizza marinara was delicious.
Communication in English was no problem, all the staff were very friendly.

Narrow streets, parking bays and crazy, life-weary cyclists. Caution: the satnav wanted to send us along the SS145, which has been turned into a pedestrian zone. The alternative route runs to the left (south) above this road. The infrastructure... on the site is modest. No hot water for shaving. Some of the pitches are very narrow. The paths on the site are steep. All facilities on the site only accept an internal prepaid card. This in turn can only be topped up with cash. The 4-star rating and the price derived from it are not justified. The view, at least on the slightly more expensive pitches with a sea view, is breathtaking. The drive through Sorrento is an experience in itself, you should already know your vehicle and have a little self-confidence ;) The same applies to the access to the pitches, but all in all it's... no problem even with mobile homes >7m! You will be allocated a pitch, but you are welcome to renegotiate in a friendly manner. If you want a panoramic pitch (recommended!), it's best to let us know straight away so that you don't have to "drive off" via the terraces. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years but are clean and are cleaned several times a day. The walk to the beach is really long and arduous, you only really do it once a day. The walk to the pool is shorter and well worth it! The campsite is the perfect place from which to explore the Amalfi Coast by scooter! You can hire a scooter at a good rate and it will even be brought to the campsite if you wish. The coastal road to Positanao and Amalfi is a great day trip, Sorrento itself is also worth a day's stroll and as a base for excursions to Capri, Naples and Pompei. Driving on the coastal road with a motorhome is prohibited during the day! However, the view was magnificent. The site has very beautiful old olive trees, but this makes maneuvering... around the pitch quite difficult at times. The washing facilities are outdated but very clean. There is hot water in the showers. The number was completely sufficient. The steep path to the sea is completely unsuitable for older people. The swimming pool is clean and we always got free sun loungers (free of charge). The mini market has the essentials and bread rolls in the morning. The nearest supermarket is in Sorrento and is easy to reach by bus. The restaurant is ok. You can eat better, but also more expensively, in Sorrento. The campsite is great for excursions to the Amalfi Coast, Naples, Capri etc.. Everything is easy to reach by bus, train and ferry. The tours organized by the campsite also worked perfectly. However, you have to get used to the fact that you can only pay in the mini-market and restaurant with a card topped up at reception. Internet reception was usually good. We did not buy WLAN. Absolutely negative: only cash is accepted and WLAN costs extra. Nowadays an absolute absurdity! In the restaurant and market, only a card previously loaded with cash is accepted. People who are not good on foot should be aware of the hillside location. Arrival and departure only for those with strong nerves.Good place in a great locationCheck in + out quick and uncomplicated. We were allocated a pitch, but after a friendly discussion we had a small choice of pitches. Our pitch, to the right below the restaurant, unfortunately had no view due to the tall trees, but was relatively quiet, but honking from the road could be heard during... the day. The best thing to do is to use a suitable powder to combat the ants as soon as you arrive. Sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day, so always very clean. Showers are a bit small and not enough, but there is always hot water with good water pressure. The paths are sometimes very steep, which is normal on this slope. The beach, a steep descent and ascent with many steps, is a stone platform. Perfect for snorkeling, not suitable for small children (preferably in the pool). Sun loungers and parasols can be hired, ice cream, drinks, potato chips, etc. are available from the small kiosk. I wouldn't walk to Sorrento, but there are regular buses. The best way to get around here is by scooter. Fortunately, I always have a spare mirror with me. The scooter riders are everywhere and use every square decimetre of asphalt. The campsite is beautifully situated... and offers a great view of Vesuvius and the Gulf of Naples. Unfortunately, these pitches are not available at ACSI prices. The sanit. The sanitary facilities in the upper area are clean but in need of renovation. There is no hot water at the washbasins. There is an hourly shuttle from the site to the town. You also have the option of taking the public bus for €1.80. Tickets and tour bookings (e.g. Capri, Pompeii, Amalfi Coast, Vesuvius) at reception. Some of the friendly and nice ladies also speak German. The supermarket is expensive and only has the bare essentials. Panini is fresh every morning. The food in the restaurant was also fine. Occasionally loud teenagers and cars/mopeds in the middle of the night. Anyone can enter.passable campsite with partly fantastic views of Vesuvius, seaWe had a very nice, not too small pitch for our caravan, still in the upper area, but away from the road. The view was fantastic, the awning was facing the sea, so we didn't have any neighbors right next to us. The wash house was directly opposite, which was also good because there was no water connection... on the pitch. The wash house was fine, there was a wash basin including soap in every toilet. Hairdryers were also available. As it wasn't usually too busy, the four showers per unit were sufficient. There is a brand new, very nice wash house in the lower area. The pool is also easy to reach, but we didn't hear much of the noisy entertainment in the evenings as it is much further down. But this is not the case at all campsites. It's a bit of a descent to the beach, but nice to walk. The beach is OK. Naturally steep and rocky, but there is a small bar, sun loungers for a fee and an inflatable fun island with a trampoline. The pool is not huge, but very bearable even in high season, never too many people in the water. Sun loungers and umbrellas are free of charge. The snack bar by the pool could be a little better stocked. Aqua gymnastics and dancing in the mornings and afternoons. The restaurant is not bad, the service there is not so warm, but the price is OK compared to Sorrento town. There is a small store with a little bit of everything. Bread rolls are packaged, but fresh. You get used to it. The reception at the entrance is very helpful and nice. They also speak German. You can book all kinds of excursions here and also buy bus/train tickets for excursions. Vesuvius, Pompeii, Naples, Amalfi can all be reached by public transport (departure directly in front of the campsite), and much better in the high season. Trips to Capri, for example, also leave directly from the beach. We found the wifi area quite OK. We had very good reception both on the pitch and by the pool. The pitches are partly shaded by the old, very beautiful olive trees. There are also plenty of ants. They are combated with a powder that you can buy in the store. The night and midday rest periods are not observed/controlled, which has advantages and disadvantages. Youth groups camp in various areas, which can sometimes be noisy. On the other hand, you won't be asked to leave the pool at lunchtime, which is the case at many campsites. Conclusion: If you're lucky here, as we were, you get a central but fairly quiet pitch from which everything is easily and quickly accessible, and a priceless view of Vesuvius, the sea and Sorrento; it's also wonderful to look at in the darkAutomatikusan lefordítva.

If you can look past that, the site is great. It's nice and big, so you can really get lost. The path to the beach leads down the slope through a forest. Unfortunately, it's not really... suitable for swimming here. But you have a beautiful view and can reach Naples, Pompei and the Amalfi Coast in no time at all. The pool is perfect for children of all ages and the restaurant is very good. We are very pleased that you had a pleasant time at Santa Fortunata. To reach the center of Sorrento, it is possible to take buses, the bus stop is located in front of the entrance of our facility. We have also added a shuttle service to/from... the center of Sorrento.
Our private beach, on the other hand, is in my opinion ideal for snorkeling enthusiasts and for those who like to swim freely and get directly into the high water via a ladder.

There is a bus stop in front of the site, which you can use to get to Sorrento, where you can take the train to Naples or the places you like to visit. The pitches are rather small and in the shade of olive trees. Staff are very friendly, store rather small and sparsely staffed. Beach is available, but the pool is more suitable for swimming.... CP offers inexpensive tours to Capri etc. Bus stops directly in front of the campsite, tickets of all kinds are available at reception. The narrow-gauge railroad takes you easily to Pompei or Naples (tickets are also available from reception).
