As I was there in February, the site was naturally not that busy. But there were still a few (permanent) campers, so I didn't feel lonely.
The pitches for day guests are large and easily accessible.
The wash house is... easily accessible, clean and tidy.
I can imagine that it's really nice at the lake in summer, even though the site is in an industrial area. But you don't notice much of that on the pitch.
At the time of my stay there was construction work going on in the entrance area, but it didn't bother me.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Too long ways!Much too loud!If you have the Frankfurter Kreuz in sight from home, you might call this place "quiet"! But if you live quietly, you'll feel like you're at Frankfurter Kreuz!!!
Well, our pitch was really huge with a great view of the lake! But there was a road less than 100 meters behind it. It wasn't very busy at... the weekend, but on Monday it was already busy from about 4:30 am! In addition, there was a main road over the lake within earshot and then the proximity to the highway, which you could also hear because the wind was "favorable"! Absolute horror for someone who lives in a quiet area!
Then there was the size of the site with the corresponding marches! Well, there was a wash house relatively close by, but it was quite old and in need of renovation! Just seeing the "sports showers" makes me shudder! You can also call these things "legionella spinners", because if the water isn't heated to a minimum of 60°, you're guaranteed to get legionnaires' disease from the heavy spray! And then there are the shower tokens! Better to wash in the caravan! The other wash house was also newer, but not much better. At least you could do your washing up there "under the roof"! Disposal chemical toilet also only there. The first place where I drove to the disposal by car!
Gray water disposal? You're supposed to drain it "into a gully somewhere". This solution was also completely new to me!
All in all: lots and lots of permanent campers and I don't think it's a place for people who want peace and quiet - especially at night - during the season!

I have never seen so many fences and dilapidated wooden buildings in my life as a camper. When you go for a walk, you only pass walls that are at least 2 meters high. 6 washbasins for the entire campsite, 6 showers and 6 toilets (men's). Everything incredibly dirty. In summer water attractions (bouncy castles in the water etc), dogs are not allowed in the water. Sometimes loud events with lots of visitors at the weekend! Also otherwise certain, uniform background... noise by highway and airplanes, the place's own snack bar goes so - but on the lake is still a pretty good other restaurant, Otherwise, the place is dominated by permanent campers with tlw. schrechklichen Bretterbuden, which leave hardly anything green ..., day campers get the cat place along the road, sanitary simple but clean, as well as the place, outside the place quite dirty. Rigeroser but not completely unfriendly groundskeeper, on the square no kiosk but to the net market is only 1 KM. The Main is also only 1 km away - you can cycle well here.Automatikusan lefordítva.

It's certainly a popular destination on summer days, I was there in March. Seligenstadt is a nice little town nearby. There are shops around the corner. Permanent campers. Super friendly groundsman.NegatívumokMostly permanent campers who occupy the most beautiful pitches with huge wooden houses.Short vacation at the lakeWe were on a four-day trip at the beginning of November at the CP. Super friendly welcome from the groundsman. We were allocated a beautiful meadow pitch with a view of the lake. The showers are similar to rain showers, the shower heads hang so high - it's almost spa-like :-). Eight minutes of hot showers... is more than enough. 30km to Frankfurt, 15km to Aschaffenburg, 9km to Seligenstadt - a great short break program. We will gladly visit the campsite with its friendly groundsman and staff again. Attention for those seeking peace and quiet in the mountains - the campsite is located on a main road.Automatikusan lefordítva.

Unfortunately, the tourist area is increasingly besieged by permanent campers, who have built up the first row by the lake with their wooden shacks. A new part of the site has been created for transit campers, but directly on the road and without... a view of the lake, so not an option. With a bike and dog you can easily reach the town, which is well worth seeing, via a beautiful cycle path directly along the Main. Otherwise, the general cleanliness still has room for improvement for this large campsite. The groundsman... is friendly, although not always easy to reach. He makes a point of taking his lunch break. The staff at the kiosk are also friendly and accommodating. Dogs are allowed to a limited extent, but unfortunately you can't take them to the nearby bathing lake, nor do they have to be kept on a lead. - Jörg S.November 2012This is a wonderful lake. It was quiet in the rain in November. The pitches are a bit narrow and separated by half-height hedges. The sanitary facilities are new, but have a few problems with ventilation (humidity) in winter. The groundsman is very nice, easy to contact and his colleagues are also very... helpful. Friendliness is 5 stars for me. The place is close to the highway A3 and A 45 and is an ideal place on the journey from north to south and vice versa. All in all ok. With ADAC Camping Card out of season super cheap. We only paid 48 euros for 4 nights including electricity.Automatikusan lefordítva.

No control by the groundsman, you had to look for him or call him, as there was light in the office but no one else to get a pitch or shower tokens. Children playing ball between the pitches, dogs were also kept on a lead at the... pitches and the owners were not to be seen all day, they barked as soon as they saw anyone. This is not my place.
