Beautiful place - perfect starting point to explore the Lofoten Islands
This was our only place at the end of Lofoten. It's in a great location for exploring the end of Lofoten. The campsite is right on the beautiful beach and there is also a surf school.
The staff are friendly. The sanitary facilities are clean, but on busy days there were not enough showers, toilets and... washing-up areas and you had to wait a bit.
Unfortunately, there are also not enough power points (you should be there late in the morning at the latest in high season). We had one night without power and were able to move the next day without any problems.
The price-performance ratio is acceptable by Norwegian/Lofoten standards (350NOK/night 2 adults with electricity, 10NOK/3min shower, 30NOK/washing machine or dryer).
On our next visit to Lofoten, this is definitely a place we would visit again.

Fabulous location, 1A sanitary facilities
The site with the most spectacular location we have seen in the Lofoten Islands: A meadow between rugged mountains on one side and the sea on the other, camping on the beach, so to speak. Unique in good weather. Brand new sanitary building (I assume opened in 2018, it still smelled of "construction")... with the highest standard we have seen in the Lofoten Islands. Very friendly, always helpful staff. WiFi costs kroner/day, but is very fast even by campsite standards. The only downside: the showers run for just 3 minutes for 10 kroner, which is impossible to manage, especially as the time keeps ticking when the water is switched off.

Dream beaches for nature lovers and dog owners
Easy pitch for an estimated 40 motorhomes/caravans and 40+ tents. Very friendly welcome in English and free choice of pitch. The pitch is dune-shaped, very uneven in places and parceled out where the electricity columns are. Towards the sea it is rather natural and very popular with tent guests. The... ground consists of firm grass, which can withstand a downpour due to the sandy subsoil. Any traffic noise from the nearby E10 is drowned out by the surf. At the end of August, we paid NOK 300 for a mobile home including electricity and 2 people. WLAN costs NOK 30 extra and showers NOK 10 per 3 minutes. The nearest supermarket is in Ramberg +4km. The attraction is the light-colored beaches, which flow gently into the sea. Tip: Walk about 500m along the northern beach and then over the small hill. Then the view opens up over another dream beach. We spontaneously stayed a day longer. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: July 2019 The site is no longer called "Skagen Camping" but "Lofoten Beach Camp".
