Chris L.July 2024PozitívumokThe location in the middle of the countryside and yet excellent facilities on the pitch.NegatívumokCould not find any disadvantages.Also very suitable for bad weather!We can only recommend this pitch. "When the weather is nice, anyone can..." But when the weather is bad, you can see who really offers something for their guests and takes care of them. When the weather was fine, we took a golf taster course and tried archery. We were also able to borrow bicycles free... of charge and took a look at the beautiful Bad Waldsee. In the evening, we had a delicious meal and drink on the restaurant terrace and enjoyed a beautiful sunset.
When the weather was bad, we tried out the new wellness area. We can also recommend the thermal baths in Bad Waldsee and the Hymer Museum.
If the mosquitoes are annoying, the reception has an effective remedy for you.

The gravel pitch is fine. It's not particularly quiet at the moment because, as we were told, the installations from the so-called winter lights are still being dismantled, a building is being renovated and the access road to the pitch... on the meadow is being redone.
I think most of the work will be done in four to eight weeks. For the winter lights and then again in spring when everything is in bloom. There is nothing for small children on site or at the campsite. Our older son (11 years old) was able to try his hand at golf and archery. We also visited the Hymer Museum, the Hymer Center, the town and the forest. Alternatively, you can park on a gravel pitch next door. Easy access. Every pitch has a power connection. Supply and disposal also easily accessible. There are more than enough showers and toilets. Very good condition and very clean. However, the sanitary building... is not directly next to the pitch. Extensive sports facilities. It is very pleasant that everyone is welcome here. You don't have to be a golfer. Caravans are also allowed on this pitch. Two restaurants with very tasty food and a large terrace with a wonderful view. But you'll also find a quiet and relaxed atmosphere here for "taking it easy". Super tasty breakfast buffet in the restaurant and a very good menu, even for small appetites, in T-19. We always think it's great when a pitch has clean toilets and even a sufficient number of showers. It's a great advantage that this pitch belongs to a hotel. The reception is always manned by friendly staff and helps with any questions.... You can have a delicious breakfast there and eat very well in the evening. Bread roll service is also offered. There is also a golf course, but you are welcome here even if you don't play golf. There is a new, large outdoor archery range. With a real course. You can hire equipment. We are always delighted when we have WiFi... and can use the toilet and shower. Even included here. Hotel services can also be used. Extra costs are sometimes incurred. Our questions were answered in a very friendly manner at reception. Beautiful, quiet location and surroundings. After our first visit in December, we really wanted to enjoy this wonderful ambience of lights again. We will definitely be here again for the next Winterleuchten. This pitch is great and is located in the middle of a beautiful golf course.... Our short stay here in February was fantastic again. Short distances to the hotel, restaurants, showers and toilets. It has everything you need for a first-class pitch and is also a great place to relax. We can hardly wait until the new wellness area is finished. The town itself is of course also worth a visit. The ambience of the entire complex with golf course, lots of nature (including forest) and an upscale... restaurant in a historic building is a dream! The associated parking space is not, as is sometimes the case, out of the way, but right in the middle and still quiet. The price is ok. Everything included except electricity. Showers/WCs, WLAN, dogs, supply and disposal, ... Unfortunately we couldn't use the sauna as the entire wellness area is being renovated. It's nice that you can order bread rolls for breakfast the next day and pick them up at reception in the morning.... The hotel also has a café and a restaurant, which we would classify as upmarket. There is also a very large golf course. The showers and toilets are fine and also included. However, the building is not right next to the pitch and you have to walk a few meters. This is exactly how PREMIUM works !!!With more than 300 days of sunshine a year, fresh and clear air at 600m above sea level, in the middle of a biotope is one of the most beautiful golf courses I have ever played on!!!! The location between the forest, lakes and hills makes it possible to stay on the course all day even on hot days! Here... I can escape from everyday life and enjoy the game of golf to the full. The vegetation on the golf course is both well maintained and laid out like a biotope. Here you will find deciduous trees, conifers, hundred-year-old oaks, lakes and meadows where only sheep are missing for the perfect picture. A gourmet restaurant, a stylish bar with a wonderful, sunny terrace invite you to round off a perfect day. This perfect day can be started from a wonderful pitch right on the tee of the first hole. The pitch, which offers enough space for me and my Morelo, has everything I need. The service is premium and reflects the overall impression of this ensemble. I think you can feel my enthusiasm for this little corner of the world. Everything is there, everything is made possible, there is nothing to complain about and nothing is missing!!! A rustic look paired with elegance and outstanding service. 5 star hotel service also on the course. Beautiful restaurant, bar, terrace everything is there and very well maintained. There is also a 36-hole golf course and a 9-hole short course. Very beautiful... course with island greens, lakes and challenging bunkers. There are several golf courses with motorhome parking, but this one is second to none.
Bad Waldsee is also worth a visit and the golf resort is an ideal starting point for a visit to the old town, the outdoor pool and the thermal baths.
Once you have eaten in the restaurant, you will do so every day, as we did. We didn't want to eat anywhere else to try all the dishes on the menu!

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to respond to it.
We do indeed have space for 35 motorhomes/caravans, but these are divided between the gravel and grass pitches and, if required, the normal parking lot, where there is also enough space. The pitches are also very generously... sized, ranging from 6 (W) x 10 (L) m to 6x16 m.
We are currently working on a brochure summarizing all the important information for our pitch guests. We are sorry that this was not ready for your stay.
We would be happy to take your suggestion to improve the access to the meadow again.
We would also like to apologize that you had the impression that you were not welcome in the restaurant. This is definitely not the case, as our pitch guests should be able to enjoy the same level of comfort as our hotel guests.
