- Anita H.May 2022PozitívumokSmall, clearly laid out site, direct access to the town, shopping facilities nearby, nice gravelled pitches, admission to the thermal baths included,Negatívumokthe wash house would have needed renovation !!!!!!!, the gray water disposal is unfortunately overgrown,Ideal for short vacations to relax and swim, even with childrenThis is the 11th time we have been to Thermal Camping Sarvar, we use the campsite for short vacations, the many slides and opportunities to eat something in the bathroom mean that we usually have the youngsters with us, shopping facilities in Sarvar such as Lidl or Tesco are available and can also be... reached quickly on foot, the pitches are gravelled and vary in size (in some places you can also stand two to a pitch),
Disadvantages in our opinion:
the wash house would have to be renovated or rebuilt (WC very narrow)
the gray water disposal point is unfortunately very overgrown (risk of scratches)Automatikusan lefordítva. - Hana D.September 2021PozitívumokEverything, the services of the campsite, the spa, we were here for the first time and certainly not the last. Satisfaction!NegatívumokNothingSuper campsiteA perfect campsite with everything. We liked it very much. We will definitely be back this yearAutomatikusan lefordítva.

- Eva K.August 2019PozitívumokOtherwise nice place, direct access to the thermal baths.NegatívumokSanitary facilities 2 - 3 stars, because much broken and dirtyGreat location to the thermal baths - unfortunately poor sanitary facilitiesThe pitches for motorhomes are very nice. The direct access to the thermal baths is ideal. However, the sanitary facilities are totally outdated and in poor condition (toilet seats fall off, some of the lighting is broken. Extremely unclean. You can find the same dirt on the mirrors in the wash house... for days on end. We already reported the numerous defects last year, without success. Exactly the same things are still broken. Irrespective of this, there are lots of visitors with very small tents and then up to 5 people on the pitches. As a result, there is a lot of noise from 7 a.m. onwards, as you can't stay in these mini-homes. To summarize, you can say that you collect money but do little in return.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Friedrich H.October 2018PozitívumokSpaNegatívumoktoo expensiveNever again!!!!Sanitary facilities not clean! Staff very unfriendly and sometimes out of place. A pitch for 2 people for 2 nights € 98.45 is not worth it.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Marina B.September 2018PozitívumokVery central, beautiful surroundingsNegatívumokSignificant deficiencies CleanlinessUnfortunately no 5 starsWe were in Sarvar in September, the thermal bath is very nice, unfortunately there are considerable deficiencies with the Sauberket on the square, there is garbage on the square for days, which is not cleared away, even after consultation at the reception nothing changes. The sanitary facilities are also poorly cleaned. Sinks and toilets are dirty, some of the doors in the toilets do not close.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Krista S.August 2018PozitívumokCleanliness, helpfulness, effort of all staff to speak Czech, unlimited access to all pools and all water attractions, all included in the price for the stayWonderful holidayIn a word, everything excellent!!! Accommodation in the mobile home very nice, clean and tastefully furnished. The receptionists were always helpful, friendly and kind. During the illness of our four-year-old grandson, the owner Mr. Istvan Veres was helpful. First of all, he speaks perfect Czech, immediately directed us to the doctor and at the doctor's office he interpreted everything over the phone. I highly recommend him to all Czechs.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Günther M.June 2018PozitívumokCleanliness, pitch size, proximity to bathroom, friendlinessNegatívumokI don't know anyGreat place for wellness at the thermal bathThermalcamping is a great place to visit the thermal baths. Located right next to the spa, it is a very quiet site with direct access to the spa. The pitches are very large with electricity, fresh water and waste water disposal on site. Electricity is fused with 16 A !!! Clean sanitary facilities, one... centrally located in an architecturally nice building, one in a former boiler house of the neighboring Park Inn Hotel, but clean and tidy. Large shower cubicles with decent mixer taps. Very good and fast WLAN for free. Shopping facilities within a very short distance (1 min..). Very good restaurants in 3 - 5 minutes distance, recommendable Harmonia in the immediate neighborhood, Onyx Garden in 4 minutes walking distance. Very friendly reception staff. We were there for 4 days and also booked wellness packages in the spa and were completely thrilled. We also loved the spa with its slides and children's attractions. The therapists were competent and very friendly. We will be back, but for longer!Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Gerald R.May 2018Pozitívumokdirect access from the CP to the thermal spaNegatívumokCleanliness of the sanitary facilities on the CP Sometimes very loudThermalcamping SarvarThe campsite is located right next to the thermal and fun pool in Sarvar (http://www.sarvarfurdo.hu). You can enter the thermal baths directly from the campsite in flip-flops and bathing suits by means of a wristband, which you receive on arrival, through a revolving door. Unfortunately, you can only... use the revolving door until 20:00, although the spa is open until 22:00! After that you have to go through the main entrance of the spa. You could not freely choose your parking space. The parking spaces at the crossroads, at the playground and opposite the garbage cans may not be for everyone. The ground of the pitches is mostly gravel. Tent pegs are completely unsuitable. Proper steel pegs are better. Each pitch has its own water and electricity connection. Unfortunately, some of them are behind a hedge on the neighboring pitch. And if the neighbor stands there inconsiderately, you can no longer reach them. The summer sanitary facilities were open from the weekend of May 1st. There are only 3 very narrow toilet cubicles which are inadequately cleaned. The disabled toilet cubicle, for which you need a key, was cleaned for the first time in the 2018 season on 10.05.2018. On the weekend of May 1st, the campsite was almost full, mostly with campers from PL, some of whom were partying until the morning. Only complaints from several campers and the intervention of the police brought improvement. On the weekend around May 8th (Liberation Day) the campsite was completely full, this time by campers mainly from CZ/SK. After that, only about 50% of the campsite was occupied, mostly by German-speaking campers. Sometimes the children of other campers believe that the neighbor's pitch is their own playground. Some campers' dogs are annoying. There is no bread roll service on the campsite, but there are grocery stores across the road that you can reach on foot (approx. 150m from the campsite entrance). If you want bread rolls like in Germany you have to go to Tesco (approx. 1km from the CP towards Balaton). Wifi only works sporadically on the campsite. There is relatively little information material at the reception but the staff is friendly. There is no security service. A funicular starts and ends in front of the CP, which runs several times a day a round ala Hopp-on-Hopp-off with about 16 stops each about 1h through the city. Once there was chiseling work by craftsmen on the CP until around midnight. There are no German-language daily newspapers in Sarvar. The thermal baths are very clean and there are around 16-18 pools, some of which are closed to children and teenagers. The water in the thermal baths tastes very little of minerals and is around 32...38°C. There are 6 or 7 different snack bars and restaurants. There are no fixed opening hours for these. 1 langosch, 1 burger, 2 drinks together cost approx. 8.50€. There are few lifeguards, and almost none at the pools that are only for adults. The antique pool had a lot of moss, algae and other dirt in the first few days. It makes no sense that you can only use the antique pool until 20:00, although the spa is open until 22:00. There are also lifeguards there, although there is hardly ever a lifeguard to be seen all day. In the antique pool, a young local had his toenails manicured for half an hour, really nasty. You can book additional treatments etc. at the spa. We paid a total of €117 for 2x6 inhalations of 10 minutes each and a total of 4 massages (40...60 minutes each) including a consultation with a spa doctor. Sunday and Monday is market day in Sarvar (approx. 350m from the campsite in the direction of Lake Balaton on the left-hand side).Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Markus M.April 2018PozitívumokLarge pitches, clean, close to the thermal baths.NegatívumoknoneSpa vacation as father and sonWe were at the CP from April 23 - 26, 2018. A pitch was suggested and allocated to me at reception. It suited us and, like almost all pitches, was very large. The ground was coarse gravel. There was water at every pitch, but no sewer connection. The wash house in the middle of the pitch was not yet open.... The other wash house in the permanent building was clean and in order. Only the 2 dishwashing places were too few and there were waiting times. The site was about 50% occupied by older couples and therefore very quiet. You enter the spa area via a turnstile. It is a 300 meter walk to the main building where the thermal and family pools are located. The outdoor area with very cool pools and slides was not yet open. There are lots of pools and slides for young and old. In the kindergarten, children can play for a while under the supervision of 2 supervisors. Children under 4 years accompanied and over 4 years alone. Mine was there for about 1.5 hours and it was fine. He would have wanted to go again but we had to travel on. The restaurant in the spa was nothing special and in my opinion too expensive by Hungarian standards. Schnitzel with chips just under €10, a scoop of ice cream €1. Within walking distance there is a Lidl supermarket, restaurants and coffee houses with ice cream (scoop around €0.60). The food is also about 30% cheaper than at the spa. We paid (1 adult + 1 child) €113 for 3 nights. I think it's a reasonable price, as I know the thermal spa admissions in Austria, such as Lutzmannsburg. Lutzmannsburg is a bit better for families but much more expensive and there are no more CPs there.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Gérard d.April 2018PozitívumokThermal CP, City, Proximity to AustriaNegatívumokOverpriced, loudWe move onThis was the 2nd time we stayed at this campsite and the last time. The main reason: too expensive by Hungarian standards and it's no longer a quiet place like it was a few years ago. This is not our Hungary, which you can still find in most other parts of the country...Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Günter S.December 2017PozitívumokThermal spa, adventure pool, outdoor pool, slide, fitness room, new showers, floors, adventure pool, self-service restaurant.NegatívumokSanitary tract WC men campsiteNew Year's Eve in Sarvar 2017So far you couldn't read in the reviews who has already spent Christmas and New Year's Eve in Sarvar. This was our first time to spend New Year's Eve at the spa and adventure pool. We have been regular guests at the campsite for several years. We had assumed that we were alone on the campsite. Of the... 89 pitches, 8 were still free. It has to be said that pitches are reserved and then forgotten to be canceled if you don't arrive. This meant that other campers had to stand in front of the barrier. I don't think that's good. The campers came from Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia & Hungary. The first Silverster program was very good. You could use all the pools and adventure pools and there was a huge bubble bath in the wave pool. The New Year's Eve dinner (admission and food for 1 person €34) was a little poor by my standards. 1 pair of wieners or 1 soup and 1 glass of sparkling wine. Or you could pay €65 for 1 person and eat from the buffet in the hotel. The temperatures outside were good (10 to 13 degrees). Since you use the winter building (toilet) in the winter months, I have to say here, in the facilities of the gentlemen, something must be done, due to the moisture from the outside, the tiles from the walls or large cracks in the walls. Of course, this does not make a good impression. A lot of renovation work was carried out in the bathroom in 2017 until the end of October, which also changed the price for bathers and campsite guests (presumably the price per person will increase). Prices were not yet available (02.01.18). Nevertheless, Sarvar always remains an experience for families with children. PS: There was nothing to complain about the customer friendliness at the campsite reception & bathroom*****Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Wolfgang V.October 2017Pozitívumokgood location! great spa!Negatívumoklittle information from reception for first-time visitors! no signposts to the winter wash house! cleanliness in the wash houses!first visitas a first time visitor i would have expected more information from the reception! laundry facilities ok but not clean! shopping facilities and restaurants nearby!Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Pit G.September 2017PozitívumokUse of thermal baths included. Spacious pitches.NegatívumokNo bread service on the pitch (2 different types of bread rolls were available in a small grocery store approx. There were 2 types of bread rolls in a small grocery store about 300 meters from the CP) ...Not bad, but expensiveWe stayed here for 3 days with the camper van (2 people) at the beginning of September and paid €43.63 per day (although we didn't have a camper card or similar)!!! Apart from the use of the thermal baths, the price only includes electricity and visitor's tax. Otherwise, the site is tidy and the pitches are generally large enough. The sanitary facilities were mostly clean, if a little small.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Brückner J.July 2017PozitívumokEverything was fine. until recently.NegatívumokMeanwhile many noisy people from CZ, price performance no longer fits. Was nice onceWe have certainly been to the campsite 10 times or more. It was always nice, but recently it has become more and more crowded with people from CZ and the friendliness and cleanliness has declined. It has now become overpriced, which is a shame. Now we have to look for a new regular place, we loved being in Sarvar.Automatikusan lefordítva.

- Hannes S.October 2016PozitívumokClose to thermal baths and the cityNegatívumokUnheated sanitary facilitiesIdeal place for city and spa visitsThe campsite is right next to the thermal baths and in the town of Savar. The thermal baths are very busy. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities have no heating, which is not pleasant in October.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Irene R.May 2016PozitívumokEntry to the thermal baths included in the CP fee, beautiful pitchesNegatívumokNothing but thermal bathsNice placeThis was our (couple's) first time on this site. Pitches large to very large, gravelled, bordered by low hedges. Electricity and water on the pitch, but completely overgrown on our pitch. Sanitary buildings very dark, toilets very narrow, washing-up area in need of repair, as well as many taps and towel... hooks in the wash houses, lights have to be turned on separately in the toilets, showers and wash cubicles, which is annoying. Spa overcrowded at the weekend, nice beer bar, self-service restaurant not recommended. Pastry shop very good. No store on site, but within walking distance. Food in the area good and inexpensive. The place is only worthwhile if you also use the thermal baths, otherwise there is not much to see here. Conclusion: certainly okay for a spa vacation, if you want more you have to go somewhere else.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Peter S.October 2014PozitívumokDirectly at the thermal baths, FamilySpa ideal for children, shopping facilities within walking distance, free WLANNegatívumoknoneIdeal for a short vacation with the familyWe stayed at the campsite for 4 days with 2 children. As it was low season, there wasn't much going on at the campsite or in the spa. The FamilySpa is ideal for families with children. Lots of slides and pools for children. As we were there in October, I can't say much about the outdoor area. Shopping... facilities are within walking distance. Spa access directly from the campsite. There is also a high ropes course right next door. Free WLAN is available. Also suitable for large caravans. The sanitary facilities are not the newest, but OK.Automatikusan lefordítva.
