It costs EUR 5 to use the washing machine for 20 minutes. So if you want to wash a full load of about 1.5 hours, you can calculate that you will be poor. This price... level also applies to the restaurant: 7.50 for a portion of poffertjes.
I don't even need to mention the rent for the parking space. The pitches are tiny and you feel like a fattened animal in a factory farm. The sanitary facilities are not the cleanest. The temperature in the showers cannot be regulated, which meant that I was quite cold.
We paid for WiFi, but it doesn't work on the premises. Understanding of the staff: non-existent.
There are lots of outdoor activities for children, which is good. But also useless in the rain. The only indoor activities of course cost a fortune again: arcade with gambling and computer games & a swimming pool for 30 EUR for 2 hours with a surcharge of 2.50 Eur for every additional 15 minutes.
The money this campsite takes out of your pocket is better invested in an all-in vacation in the south. Thanks for nothing, Duinrell! Duinrell is currently ripping off the guests,... because none of Duinrell adheres to the terms and conditions and you are treated like the last ass! You can forget about goodwill!

Several things are in need of renovation. Plaza down stairs, play hall floor, this had to be possible in the winter months. The paths also urgently need to be improved, there are many deep puddles when it rains. Some of the staff don't know their... way around and don't know the answers to questions. The toilets are old but were always quite clean. What really bothered us was that we bought a meal voucher as a card worth 60 euros. I thought my son could use it to have a nice meal in the park or we could use it as a family. First try Pannkoekenhaus. When paying, we were told it was from the competition and not valid. OK, we didn't have any cash with us, so back to the caravan. The man was nice enough to wait to prepare the pancake. The fun cost 45 euros with 3 drinks. Second attempt: the pub. With foresight, I asked in advance. No, the great consumption card was not valid here either. I really wonder why the card is offered by duinrell camping at all. Now, on the last evening, we can see how we can get rid of our remaining credit of around 40 euros. The card is probably valid for 5 years, but we don't know when we'll be coming here again. This, together with the other things mentioned, makes us wonder whether this is still the right place for us. Too bad.Automatikusan lefordítva.

When we all wanted to borrow a scooter, we weren't given one because we could have "drunk" during the day. But we are all non-drinkers. They didn't want to help us at reception either. We have already canceled our next vacation there. That's just... not on. The pitches are also unclean. Not to be recommended! I wasn't even allowed to hang up my German flag because of the World Cup. The supermarket is expensiveA children's paradiseFor once, we stayed in a Eurocamp mobile home and not in our camper van. Unfortunately, the mobile home was already getting on in years and was worn out. But the pitch itself was great. The pitches were big enough. It wasn't just the kids (5, 10, 12) who had fun in the adjoining amusement park, which... doesn't charge an additional entrance fee. The Triki bath is also gigantic, slides until the A,,,, burns ;-) The supermarket is very expensive compared to the shopping facilities outside the campsite. We can't recommend the restaurants / snack bars on the campsite, some of them were horrible and expensive. Generally a great place for families who also like to go on excursions. We recommend the cheese market in Gouda, the Haagse Markt and the beach. We had a delicious and inexpensive meal right on the beach at Brasserie de Badmeester.Automatikusan lefordítva.

We stayed in MV with our caravan and the sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained. The leisure park is very nice and so is the swimming pool (although it was always too full). (2 adults, 2 children 6&3 and 1 baby (5 months) The leisure park offers a lot of activities and fun for young and old. There are also really nice and big playgrounds for the children. The Tiki pool is overcrowded, but has some... nice slides. However, it is not suitable for small children and babies. The water is too cold and there is a constant draught from the slides. Unfortunately, the showers are also too hot. The Comfort Extra pitch on the island is sloping and has no firm surface. Cable TV is also available. However, as the connections are outdated, there is always snow in the picture. The sanitary facilities are outdated and really dirty! There is also a children's washroom on a different group of pitches to the one on the island. Unfortunately also dirty and outdated. There were also bathtubs for babies. However, nobody would want to bathe their child in there. You could only wash up if you removed the leftovers from other visitors. This was partly due to the visitors, but also to the lack of garbage cans at the washing-up areas. Dogs are apparently allowed everywhere. The dogs' droppings are also not removed by all owners. Unfortunately, this meant that our children (6&3) often walked in. The park is also quite confusing. The "roads or paths" to the pitches are also quite narrow and tight. So when oncoming traffic comes.... :-/ Luckily we had only booked for one week.... We ended up leaving after 3 days. We've been camping for a very long time..... But we have never experienced anything like this alleged 4-star site. I cannot recommend it!Automatikusan lefordítva.
Jens K.July 2017PozitívumokCombination amusement park, tiki bath, campsiteDuinrell- great family vacationAfter many years in Zeeland, we drove to Duinrell, not far from Scheweningen/The Hague, with our motorhome for the first time. Rotterdam and Amsterdam are also only about an hour's drive away. The Vakantie Park offers everything a child's heart could desire - an amusement park and Tiki bath with 1 km... of slides. Contrary to some reviews, we noticed that a lot has been renovated. (Washing and sanitary facilities at the entrance and at the Linden Veld (LV)) The only thing missing were separate children's washrooms, which our son didn't mind. It is about 20 minutes by bike with a child (6 years) to the beach, where dogs are also allowed after 7 pm - otherwise the dog beach is very far away from the beach parking lot on hot days.... The staff is friendly and the infrastructure is great - in addition to the supermarket, there are several restaurants... The small town of Wassenaar, which is well worth seeing, is within walking distance - however, it is advisable to have a bike with you. Children under 1m tall can quickly be disappointed, as many carousels and the beautiful slides in the Tiki Bad are only allowed from 1.20m. Nevertheless, the large and small playgrounds also offer lots of fun. - Je W.April 2017PozitívumokLeisure park, reasonable pitchesNegatívumokEVERYTHING far too expensive, modernization of the campsites and sanitary facilities urgently neededEvery year anew... with annoying side effectsI personally have known Duinrell since I was 2 years old. I think I've been there 20 times to date. This year I went as a family with a 7-year-old child. It's great for children because there's never a dull moment. This was our first time at the Romatisch Kamp, which is a really quiet spot. In contrast... to Middenveld, where I/we have often stayed before. Middenveld is very noisy because it's right on the way between the plaza and the park and there are roaring, shouting, inconsiderate visitors walking past until late at night/early in the morning. Romantisch Kamp is located behind the Plaza from the park, so there is no "passing public". We have now paid €560 for 10 days, and I have to be honest, I get a tantrum when I have to pay €5 - 2 hours for the swimming pool as a camping guest. There are nice packages that are offered where the Tikki pool is included (I am informed about them by e-mail from time to time), but if you can only book spontaneously and then no arrangement is available, you pay extra for every visit to the pool. For a 10-day stay, that adds a lot. A day ticket costs €7 for 3 people, that's another €21 on top. THAT'S AN OUTRAGEOUS RIP-OFF. While we're on the subject of rip-off costs, the fast food costs in the park are absolutely outrageous and the quality leaves a lot to be desired for the prices. The casino is the pocket money catcher. Colorful lights, flickering games, shooting gallery with effect and you also get vouchers if you are successful...the children's heart rejoices. But the fact that you only win a 10 cent item if you get 100 vouchers and that you can get between 5-20 euros for 100 vouchers depending on your success is obviously a scam, but it's popular with children. Everywhere in the park there are small vending machines with funfair junk articles for 50 cents up to €2. So kids with their own pocket money, who don't ask whether they can buy every little thing or not, are fleeced here like a Christmas goose !!!! If this wasn't the case to this extent, I would be 100% satisfied with the park and its facilities, but because of the children's rip-off stores, there are big minus points. The rental of bikes or Kettcars is also pure moneymaking. But since it is used enough, the operators are right to keep it that way. Regarding the sanitary facilities: during the Easter vacations there were not exactly few visitors and they were cleaned several times a day. But if some people don't know how to use a toilet flush or toilet brush, I don't think it's the cleaning service's fault. Or if you can see in the sink what the previous dishwasher had in the pot, that is also a lack of respect for the other guests or simply a lack of hygiene as such, among the people. Leisure activities, e.g. in the pub - bowling air hockey machines - unfortunately, no matter when we were at Duinrell, half of them were always out of order. I ask myself the question, what does the company do with all the money they bring in? What is also very questionable are the water points at the pitches. From the 1960s with a push tap. Everything is sprayed wet, but the container is not filled. A renovation is urgently needed. Despite the high pitch fees, not much is renewed or modernized at the CP. In family showers there is 1 hook and 1 shelf, total nonsense. A campsite of this size should have disinfectant in the toilets. After all the nagging: because of the great fun factor, the wide range of activities and the beautiful surroundings that can be explored by bike - we will be back. But without having to pay all the special costs! For camping vacations and use of the leisure park! However, I wonder how high the costs will go?Automatikusan lefordítva.

The small bathroom with shower is of course not enough... for 5 people but the place has several sanitary buildings that are clean as long as everyone does their part. Of course we won't miss the torn corner bench (couch). The adjacent park, Tiki pool and children's entertainment make this site ideal for families with children. Kettcars can also be rented for the little/big ones. This means that the children always have something to do and are never bored. The central location allows a short journey to the larger cities such as Amsterdam (50km) or Rotterdam (35km). Nearby, Scheveningen with its beach promenade is highly recommended. But also the Wassenaarslag or Katwijk with its beach bars and cafes offer pure vacation feeling. We are now of the opinion that you will always find points of criticism that need to be communicated in order to provide an opportunity for improvement. However, everyone can contribute the most to a successful vacation through personal or self-initiative. Sanitary facilities insufficient!!!We were there with the children (aged 15 and 13) for a long weekend with the caravan. The amusement park and the swimming pool are great for the kids. The slides in the swimming pool are just awesome. Some of the pitches are under large trees and very narrow. Next to the paths and in corners there are... boulders everywhere where you can damage your car. There's no peace and quiet, but that wasn't so bad either. Cleaning staff for the sanitary buildings are not exactly motivated. They went through the sanitary building once, lifted up all the toilet seats, thought it was good and left again. The whole building stank of urine. My family and I, as well as friends of ours who we met there, didn't like going to these toilets. Many people complain about this condition in the reviews. For us the best family vacation, the children were busy all day whether in the park, in the Tiki pool or on the campsite. There really is something for all ages in the amusement park and the Tiki pool and everything... is included in the price. There are great shows and a constantly changing evening program in the park, leaving nothing to be desired! There were mainly German families on the campsite (at least when we were there), so the children were constantly busy and quickly made new friends. There are several small playgrounds on the campsites themselves, so the children never got bored in the evenings. The sanitary facilities are cleaned thoroughly every day and are in good condition. all in all, I would give the park etc. a rating of 1! always happy to return!Automatikusan lefordítva.
