He has all kinds of tips for excursions, knows where the current wine taverns are open and which destinations in the region you should visit. The "cleaning lady Gabi" deserves special mention here, because I have rarely experienced such a hard-working cleaning lady. We are very grateful to be guests at this campsite and will certainly be back. The "Veltliner-Campinplatz Poysdorf" is simply brilliant for getting to know the great hilly landscape and beautiful vineyards (and wines, nona).
The site manager is at the campsite every day in the morning and in the afternoon... for a good hour at a time, you can register in advance by email or phone and you will receive a prompt reply.
You can then choose one of the free pitches yourself on arrival.
These are comfortably large (approx. 10x10m), fairly level, electricity connections are not far away, as are water outlets.
The sanitary building is always clean and well heated!
Due to only about 50% occupancy when we were there, some toilets and showers (very large and practical with storage) were closed.
The adjacent bathing lake can only be reached in a roundabout way.
The campsite is accessible around the clock without barriers.
Practical because of the above-mentioned manning of the reception, somewhat unpleasant if, as during our stay, vehicles are still arriving at 21:30 and maneuvering and parking in the dark with loud commands.
You should have a bike with you, to Poysdorf to shopping facilities, wine taverns and restaurants but a good 2 km.
Opposite the campsite is a large cable production plant, so the noise level is relatively high until 9pm.

The campsite is always very clean, the nearby cable factory doesn't bother us too much but is audible (monotonous generator runs 24/365), the area is ideal for cycling, hiking is also an option. A good decision. Reservation uncomplicated with quick response. Arrival very friendly. Spacious and level pitches. Rather little shade but that didn't bother me because it wasn't that sunny. Bathing pond next door is very... organic (so also quite green) but still nice. The road next to it is already busy but I found it OK and the plant opposite doesn't cause any problems. I will come back here in 2019. The pitch was in good condition except for the grass, which had suffered in the drought. Sanitary facilities in good order, a friendly groundsman who provided bread rolls very early on and easy access to the bathing lake and restaurant.... The bathing lake does not have Carinthian water quality and everyone has to form their own opinion about the surroundings. The price was unbeatable, as two cyclists with a tent we only paid 13.50 euros, whereas on our tour we had to pay almost twice as much at some of the worse sites.Automatikusan lefordítva.
