By the lake
Huge campsite, hardly occupied at the beginning of June, some very large pitches. Situated on the inland lake, but not accessible for campers in the first row as it was densely occupied with rental accommodation. Sanitary facilities run down and poorly cleaned. Wifi far too expensive.

Firstly, we booked with "Voyage Loisirs", which advertised a 3-star ...., but it was barely a 2-star. I've been visiting campsites for nearly 30 years, and I've never seen the sanitary facilities in such a deplorable state: pestilential smells, walls that have been used as toilet paper by some campers... (I'll talk about them later), un-emptied garbage cans, invisible maintenance staff, webs and spider nests on the ceiling that fall into the sanitary facilities, no transparency about the dates of maintenance visits; very "beaufair" atmosphere of the campsite with dubious visitor numbers. We were in a canvas bungalow... fortunately! Because the empty pitches were literally "parking lots" with no boundaries and totally anarchic. It's clear that previous residents made the same comments as we did, but that Village Center management didn't take them into account when allocating sufficient maintenance budgets.
