The extensive range of sports on offer meant that we only saw the children at mealtimes, the rest of the time they were constantly busy, which also allowed us to "vacation". The staff here are extremely friendly... and the site and sanitary facilities are very clean. Our pitch was fantastically large and easy to drive on. The security service at night gives you a good feeling, although the great location should probably not make this necessary. I would recommend the site without reservation for people with children.
A little criticism, albeit at a very high level, is also allowed. I think there should be more than 2 lanterns spread over the whole campsite, as I don't like running around at night with a flashlight. I had asked in advance about the possibility of a small tent for the kids on the pitch and this was confirmed. That wasn't a problem either, but was then charged as a tent pitch. I don't mind paying just under €70 for the time, but it could have been mentioned in advance. Although there are lots of dogs, they don't stand out. Free use of the swimming pool and football pitch. All around are mountains wherever you look and fantastic quarry ponds not far from the campsite... where dogs are also allowed. Our dog was also always welcome at the restaurants and cable cars. The sanitary facilities may be a little nostalgic, but they were always very clean and, with an outside temperature of 6 degrees in the morning, wonderfully warm and even had underfloor heating. My bathroom at home is not as nice and warm. Many thanks for an unforgettable stay. We would love to come back here on our next vacation.Automatikusan lefordítva.

The tenant couple is very nice, helpful and courteous. It's quite rare to find something like this. The first thing you notice is the well-maintained permanent campsites. I have rarely seen anything like this in 40 years of camping. Kudos to the permanent campers... and also to the site operator. There is a mini kiosk, but I always arrived too late, so it was already closed. However, there is a great supermarket nearby. The pitches are nicely parceled out and available in different sizes. There is a great outdoor pool right next door which can be used free of charge. The sanitary facilities are clean, but there are not enough of them. (3 toilets for the men, here you stand in line in the morning and sit on a preheated toilet seat). Toilets and washrooms should be separate. The city as owner should do something about this. Especially in connection with the outdoor pool, something else adequate belongs here. The Freizeit-Center-Oberrhein looked like this 30 years ago and today it is one of the top places. - bernd h.August 2017Pozitívumokshared use of the great public outdoor pool, free city bus for guests, beautiful, clean facilitiesNegatívumokmany permanent campers and dogs, irritable atmosphere, strange reservation system, somewhat outdated sanitary facilitiesbeautiful grounds with great bathing facilities, but a tense atmospherevery nice site with little shade, the pitches are partly graveled, very pleasant when it rains! the free use of the adjacent public outdoor pool and the free tickets for the public city bus are great. there are a lot of permanent campers from switzerland and a lot of dogs, we often found the atmosphere... among the guests to be tense and irritable. sanitary facilities very clean, but outdated and scarce (often queues), there is a lounge with television, the free wifi did not work. no restaurant nearby, no cooking facilities, but barbecues. the kiosk has a very modest offer, which beer and wine lovers use loudly in the evening. table tennis, a very simple children's playground, shared use of a public soccer pitch. strict and illogical reservation regime, those who leave earlier than reserved pay a € 40 penalty. price in aug 2017 for 2 adults & 1 child with car, large tent and electricity € 27.50 per day.Automatikusan lefordítva.

The site is in very good condition. Although located next to sports facilities, it is very quiet in the evenings. The sanitary facilities were in a very good condition during our visit. Catering is possible in the immediate vicinity. W-LAN in the lounge very good. We received a very friendly welcome. The site was in top condition. We were in the front part. The pitches there were big enough. There was one electricity box per row. We had to fetch water from the... sanitary or washing-up facilities. On the pitch, where the awning is usually pitched, there is a strip of gravel. This is to prevent the awning from sinking or starting to stink in the tent in a wet summer. - Norbert B.August 2013Secluded campsite next to a forest pool. The forest pool is very popular with all guests. The pitches are large enough. The two sanitary facilities are too few when the 128 pitches are fully occupied. There are only six toilets/showers per gender. They are old but clean. You can get to the old town by... bus. It is well worth a visit. The campsite is centrally located for excursions. There are three barbecue areas available. We will gladly come back.Automatikusan lefordítva.
