Starting point in the north for activities in DartmoorIf you don't see any disadvantages in this campsite, you should not forget to mention one thing, as this is very important for some campers. Even if for different reasons: Child-free. In fact, the entrance to the site and the question at reception say: "No Children - Adults only". Of course, this means... that the site is not suitable for everyone, which explains the lack of a rating in these areas. Otherwise, this is a great pitch (site), large pitches (half grass, half gravel), electricity connections and of course lots of peace and quiet (you can hear a bit of road in the background). The wash house is very well presented and well equipped. A bit of effort to separate waste but as a German you can put that away :-) Very friendly hosts and you can order bread for the next day. No playground of course, no swimming pool either, but even in high season only 23.50 pounds for motorhome, 2 p., electricity. A small pavilion provides information material about Devon and Cornwall. A brochure on Dartmoor is available at reception. WLAN for one device: 5 pounds / day for 2 7 pounds / day. Good quality.Automatikusan lefordítva.

From here you can plan countless great activities in the Dartmoor National Park. The site managers are very friendly and helpful and provided us with everything from weather forecasts to hiking tours. The small store is well stocked with the essentials.Automatikusan lefordítva.
