Immaculately maintained sanitary facilities and a place that leaves nothing to be desired! You are warmly welcomed and immediately feel welcome. Our daughter had fun in the small lake.
For hikers/mountain bikers, Jochalm (direct start at the campsite)... is highly recommended.
We will definitely be back - whether with the caravan or for a few days in the very lovely log cabins!

For us as motorcyclists with a tent, it is ideally located in the Gailtal valley, in the immediate vicinity of the Plöckenpass, Nassfeld and other highlights.
The restaurant with its traditional Carinthian cuisine is also highly recommended. Great starting point for hikes.NeigiamiThe pitches are beautifully overgrown and planted with greenery, which makes the view of the valley from the pitch a little less spectacular than would be expected due to the dream location on the mountain.Great late summer daysDespite - or perhaps because of - its location away from the classic Carinthian destinations, it is an absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to recharge their batteries while hiking or biking.
Not so far away from where Schluga, Burgstaller, Arneitz and co. stage themselves with a lot of fanfare... and media use, you will find a pleasantly casual - naturally less spectacular - version of Carinthia with a slightly Dutch accent. Warning: It's highly unsuitable as a substitute for Malle or Zrče, here you are in the middle of nature and should appreciate that.
The swimming pond is a dream and can certainly be seen as a substitute for a lake.
The store and restaurant are naturally rather small, but perfectly adequate.
Italy is not far away if you are looking for a change. Depending on where you live, the journey via Felbertauern instead of the Tauern tunnel may well be an argument.
For us, the Alpine Park was a perfect end to what was a very unusual 2020 summer vacation due to Covid-19.

It is a beautiful campsite with lots of bushes and trees, where everyone is sure to find their own personal favorite spot. There are large pitches or log cabins of various sizes to rent with fantastic views over the... Gailtal valley.
We have been there twice so far (and certainly not the last time) and have rented a large log cabin each time. These are equipped with a kitchenette, fridge, private bathroom, dining area and large terrace.
The pitches are in the immediate vicinity of the "center", as well as more secluded places on the grounds to enjoy the peace and quiet.
The highlight is the beautiful swimming pond with a separate large children's pool. Beautifully designed!
Next to it is a beach volleyball court, which invites you to play or simply serves as a large sandpit.
You can order fresh bread and rolls for breakfast from reception and otherwise enjoy the food and the beer garden with a view of the sunbathing lawn.
There is also a barbecue area where campfires can be made.
The unwritten motto is "Live and let live". If you need an entertainment program or children's disco, you've come to the wrong place. But there is something for everyone here, from children to young and old.
And by the way, right up the mountain there is a beautiful alpine pasture, the "Jochalm" and countless other excursion destinations in the surrounding area. My daughter still goes riding at the "Einetter" riding stables. About 5 km away.

A wonderful natural pond for swimming with water lilies, also an extra section with shallow water for small children. Beautiful hiking opportunities. Very friendly team,NeigiamiSo far there is only a very small selection of dishes for vegetarians and vegans in the restaurant (as of summer 2020). A little less easily accessible without a car (but doable)Family-friendly and naturalWe have already been to the campsite three times, each time as a family of four with a tent. The campsite has very nice tent pitches, somewhat hidden in the forest, which we (and especially the children) like. We really liked the natural, self-cleaning pond: it's lovely for the adults to swim in. And... there is a separate paddling area for the children, which is suitable for non-swimmers. There is also a large sand playground and - the highlight for the children - rabbits and chickens. We went there for the first time by public transport (train + bus + 1 hour walk), which worked well. You can hike very nicely in the area. The campsite team is very nice and personal.Automatiškai išversta.

The Alpenferienparkt was perfect for this. The children had lots of opportunities to occupy themselves. In the large sandpit, the playground, the pool or the small... stream. There was also shade there on sunny days. We also went on various excursions to lakes and mountain huts nearby.

It offers relaxation in the sun and refreshment in the natural pool surrounded by beautiful water lilies.NeigiamiA small disadvantage is that it is very far to the nearest supermarket for shopping (although there is a small store on site for daily needs). As we traveled by motorhome, this was a little inconvenient. After a short forest section, an idyllic paradise opened up for us.
