The showers have a shower head that you have to press every 6-10 sec. warm water only comes after 15-20 min. the hair dryers in the women's washrooms don't work. you have to return to the caravan with wet hair. very unfavorable in winter.Not recommendedI can not recommend this campsite.we have been owners of a caravan on this campsite for 3 years.at first the operators were very nice,but since the Corona time have become very unfriendly.the place is close to the airfield,where planes take off every 10-20 min every day.this is sometimes very annoying,so... we then drive daily rather to Dorum or Cuxhaven to the beach to have some peace and quiet.It takes a very long time for the hot water to come and you have to hold the shower head when showering, otherwise the water runs out after 10 seconds at the latest.the hairdryers in the women's washrooms don't work either and you have to go back to the caravan with wet hair.there are deep potholes in the driveway to the campsite.

We've never experienced that before!
The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy and the price-performance ratio is excellent. Tourist destinations can be reached quickly... by car. Nice welcome and the check-in was very friendly, informative and helpful. Nice large pitches are available. Sanitary facilities are immaculate. Clean, tidy... no luxury, but perfectly okay and acceptable without... restrictions. There are plenty of opportunities for dog owners to walk their dogs. The kiosk sells pre-ordered bread rolls, draught beer and reasonably priced, hearty meals. The free summer pool is the highlight of this site. A great offer for children and adults during the summer vacations!
The children's playground is nice and big and the free Kettcars are fun for children of all ages. It's about 15-20 minutes by car to Cuxhaven to the beaches or the city center. We didn't find this at all inconvenient. In the past, this campsite was probably dominated by permanent campers. Here you can still see some of the construction sins of the past decades. But this is a common problem on campsites these days. Time will solve the problem. In the meantime, many sites have already been "renovated" and the new trend is absolutely recognizable. There is plenty of space for tourist campers. There is something for every taste.
Prices are very camper-friendly! A 3-month pitch costs € 350 plus tourist tax and electricity! A first-class offer!
Conclusion: an insider tip for campers who are looking for peace and quiet and prefer family camping and have no problem accepting a certain distance for shopping or a visit to Cuxhaven. Pool is OK snack bar is good and fairly priced. Pitch large enough unfortunately the sanitary facilities are all the narrower and could be cleaned better. The room for rinsing off is unfortunately not so well done.... Furthermore, the naval airfield around the corner is the whole day from Mon-Fri aircraft noise even sometimes at night. But otherwise many excursion destinations such as Cuxhaven or Bremerhaven are easy to reach. Beach about 12 km to Dorum with outdoor pool and dog beach great.Automatiškai išversta.

Bremerhaven attracts visitors with great museums and Cuxhaven invites you to go mudflat hiking. The nearest beach is about 20 minutes away by bike. Various flyers are available at the campsite and you can always ask the hosts for information.... The hosts are very friendly and always happy to help. The snack bar serves bread rolls and coffee in the morning and a few snacks for the evening (currywurst etc.). The price-performance ratio is amazing! We've already visited twice and will definitely come back a third time! It's great fun for young people, especially during the Deichbrand festival, as many people go there instead of camping on the festival site!Automatiškai išversta.

The large playground, the paddling pool, the pool and a bouncy castle are ideal for families with children. The pitches are very large.
