" - Never again! During our tour of Wales last September, we arrived late in the afternoon at Brynich Caravan Park near Brecon. To our surprise we were refused with the comment, that our van (with motorcycle trailer, on which 2 BMW motorcycles) did not look like a motorhome and that we would most likely be refused at other campsites in the area. We have been camping for about 40 years and nothing like this has ever happened to us. On their website I can't find out what camping equipment has to comply with so I assume they have something against the Dutch? Fortunately, we found Pencelli Castle campsite nearby where we stayed for a week without any problems and this is an excellent campsite, which I can also recommend to others.

Brynich is a family run caravan park and campsite near the foothills of the Brecon Beacons in south Wales, situated 1.5km east of Brecon and boasting some of the best views of the central Beacons, including Pen-y-Fan, Cribyn and Corn …Du. It is the ideal base for touring the towns and countryside of mid and south Wales and for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park. The site extends to 20 acres and consists of three well screened and sheltered fields, which are closely mown to give a lawn effect, one field is set aside exclusively for tents. Over the years we have been operating, friendly service and cleanliness have been our major priorities. Whatever you reason for visiting this beautiful part of the world you will receive a warm and friendly welcome. Brynich Caravan Park welcomes guests with caravans, motorhomes where each pitch has electric hook-up. Tents are equally as welcome and we have a separate campsite field where campers can enjoy all the facilities at Brynich. Campers who wish to have an electric hook-up point for their tent are also welcome to camp in the caravan park.
