"Not suitable for caravans - The campsite is poorly signposted. The access road is narrow. Only one vehicle at a time can drive on the paths. The maximum number of pitches has been made here without thinking about the motorists. With a caravan, you have to decide whether to put up an awning or park your car on the pitch. The gravel also makes it difficult to push the caravan onto the pitch. If we had parked our car on the pitch, our neighbor with the vacation home opposite would not have been able to get away with his car. I can't understand how people can come up with the idea of making such small pitches. The pitch is not suitable for caravans. The central location has advantages and disadvantages, and the site is normally noisy during the day. You can hear the traffic. At night there are a few planes and mopeds, but overall it is quiet. The sanitary facilities are well maintained. When showering, you just can't hang clothes on the door as they get wet. The water is often only lukewarm when showering. Toilets are very tidy. The washing machine costs 4 euros. The pool is very nice. The water is refreshingly cold. There are plenty of sun loungers and parasols. Bread rolls can be pre-ordered or you can walk to the nearest supermarket (5 min.) The pizzeria on the square is mediocre. Could be better seasoned. Waste is properly separated here and the paths are short. Only glass is collected outside the campsite. Having been here once is enough.

"Maxi? - the place was advertised as Maxi. we did not look on the Internet no immediately booked. the place was 10 m long and 6 m wide. now the hedges are added then we are at 4.2 m wide. the Womo can not be placed directly against the hedge. dear people rent a comfort place. otherwise the place is quite well located. large FZ have their trouble to maneuver. Washroom very clean. quiet in the evening and you can be at the lake in 5 minutes.

"Good location - Small campsite with good infrastructure! Clean, new toilets and showers. Great location, 10 minutes on foot to the beautiful little town or to the market (on Sundays). Also ideal for dogs! Good restaurant on site, also possible to go.

"Beautiful location - Very well located pitch. Nice, clean sanitary facilities. Good pitch infrastructure. Pizzeria on site very good. 10 minutes to the town. Beautiful old town. Market on Sunday.

"Also open beyond Nov. - Very quiet despite the convenient location. Small supermarket practically on site. Very well-kept place. Restaurant on site, which is also frequented by locals. Children's playground.

Just a few metres from the shore of Lake Maggiore, you will find Cannobio and the Camping Village del Sole . Our camping village is perfect for you if you are looking for a quiet stay in close contact with …nature, where the green of the vegetation and the blue of the lake are the colours that fill your eyes. At Camping Village del Sole you will find everything you need for your trip: equipped pitches in various sizes, mobile homes with a veranda and pretty cottages. We have pitches of different sizes. All pitches are shaded, delimited by hedges and equipped with electricity. Wi-Fi is also available so you can always stay connected and post photos of your holiday! Near the pitches, there are group toilets that are also suitable for the disabled. You can install all the equipment you want on the pitch (e.g. a second tent) without paying extra. Our pitches are pet-friendly: you can accommodate pets travelling with you! There is also an Olympic-sized swimming pool where you can spend any moment you like! From the campsite, you have direct access to the cycle/footpath, a privileged starting point for discovering the area and reaching the beauties of the lake shore. You can easily reach the centre on foot, where there are shops, supermarkets and bus stops. We know that for a holiday full of comfort, you need some essential services, such as functional toilets, charging stations for cars and a restaurant. At the restaurant, you can try Marco's Sicilian specialities or Carmelo's super-fragrant pizza. The menu is extensive and ranges from Italian and Sicilian cuisine (don't miss the pasta alla Norma!) to international dishes. You can choose to dine in the cosy interior, outside in the garden or under the charming pergola by the swimming pool! We also have bicycles to explore the nature and the area that surrounds us.
