We didn't find it very comfortable here. The place seemed rather unkempt. The sanitary facilities were clean, but given the size, two showers (men's area) are clearly... not enough. Staff were friendly. Highway noise is still acceptable behind the wall.Nice campsite near the highwayUncomplicated place with nice staff, easily accessible on the highway. The sanitary building was probably renovated or new, but unfortunately only 2 (nice big) showers for men. There was a queue here. There was no shelf at the washbasins and the ventilation was too weak, the door had to be left wide... open. Our pitch (7a) and the paths were paved with grass pavers, which is not everyone's cup of tea, e.g. rolling away when using the toilet. You can order bread rolls for the next morning - they were great, by the way. Depending on the wind direction, the highway could be heard as a slight hiss on our pitch, as we were quite well protected by the embankment. I can't say how loud it is between the embankment and the highway. For a trip to the Spreewald canoeing or for short stays, we can definitely recommend this site.Automatiškai išversta.

We chose it because the closer and better rated campsites had no more free pitches and the Spreewald is still easy to reach by bike from here. The lady at reception in the hotel was a bit brash with other campers but friendly with us... again. We also had the feeling that the site was often used by workers passing through. This may also explain the other disadvantages listed. The site was OK for a short stay but we would certainly choose a different site if we had another opportunity.Automatiškai išversta.
- Silvia K.July 2020TeigiamiConvenient locationNeigiaminonePerfect place for usThe pitch is perfect for us. Yes, it's on the highway, which is a horror for other campers but perfect for us. You can hear the highway during the day, but we are always on the road. No problem in the evenings and at weekends. The perfect starting point. Get up, have breakfast, get on the highway and... you're in Tropical Islands, Cottbus, Dresden, Poland, Berlin, Potsdam and so on. We were here for 14 days. One day city tour and the other day cycling, always alternating. Because the campsite is also on the cycle path, directly into the Spreewald. You can be in Lübbenau and the Spreewelten Bad in 10 minutes by bike. We also cycled to Burg, Straupitz, Lübben and Lehde. In the evening we usually went to the restaurant. There is a hotel with a restaurant on the site, or rather in front of the campsite. They belong together. They also have bungalows on the site. Our friends visited us on their motorcycles and had a bungalow like that. They could even park their motorcycles right in front of the bungalow. As the bungalows don't have a kitchen, our friends had breakfast in the hotel, which we did 2-3 times. Great breakfast for the money. By the way, they have a super nice janitor DiDi. But everything is great here. The showers are new and so is the women's washroom. Spoke to the operator. He told me that a company started renovating the sanitary building in 2018 and then they went bankrupt. It wasn't until the end of 2019 that the refurbishment... could be continued. Due to Corona, the refurbishment had to be interrupted again. From fall it should continue.
Large parking spaces. You can choose between pitches in the hotel grounds, which are behind a noise barrier and cost €3.50 more, and pitches on a large meadow near the road. We stayed on the meadow for a day because the pitches in the hotel grounds were occupied. Street noise was bearable. We then extended for 2 more nights and stayed in the hotel grounds. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant 100 meters away. Super German cuisine, where else can you find that? The cycle path to the Spreewald, Lübbenau and Lübben starts right at the pitch. We cycled every day, great scenery. Will probably stop here again in retreat. Can definitely come again.Automatiškai išversta. - Anette W.May 2018Teigiamieasily accessible, close to LübbenauNeigiamicurrently under reconstructionGreat weekend despite great disappointmentTo be honest, this place was not our first choice, but over the Ascension weekend you have to take what you can get in the Spreewald. The homepage made a good impression, the staff on the phone were very friendly (they even mentioned the proximity to the highway again) and we were aware of the location... and didn't really care (we live on a B road!). When we arrived, they pointed out that there was a lockable family shower, which we associated with the fact that our disabled son was standing at the counter. As it turned out a short time later, this was the only shower for the entire campsite! The men's and women's showers had been demolished at the same time and were therefore a building site. The toilets and the washroom will certainly have their turn in the near future (we hope). Building site or not, the remaining parts of the sanitary facilities should be cleaned from time to time, which would perhaps soften the bad impression somewhat. As the weekend was very warm and the permanent campers kept each other's showers free, it was a real nuisance for the other tourists. It would have been nice to have been informed about the state of the sanitary building when we arrived, we wouldn't have been thrilled, but we certainly wouldn't have been so angry. Despite the proximity to the highway, the site was quite quiet, and the Spreewald makes up for a lot. The price for the camper breakfast in the adjoining hotel is really great at €6/person, but we can't judge the quality as we didn't use it. Conclusion: Despite everything, we had a great weekend. When the sanitary building is finished, we will gladly come back.Automatiškai išversta.
