The site is beautifully situated by the Schützenweiher pond.
The restaurant at the Dancing Hall is reasonably priced, but not for gourmets. Nevertheless, we recommend it for a snack in between or an ice cream.
Very uncomplicated and friendly... site operators. For dog owners very short distances to the pond and the nearby forest.
W Lan connection was also good, so you could work in peace.
The infrastructure on the site is good and the sanitary facilities are clean.
Most guests use the site as a transit site for an overnight stay.
In terms of value for money, I also found the site to be okay (33 CHF for caravan, 1 adult, 1 dog).

Very, very clean sanitary facilities! 👍🏻NeigiamiManeuvering with the caravan without a mover is a real challenge, as there are large stone blocks on the left-hand side of the road and you can't get the car onto the parking space with the car.Cozy little campsiteA beautifully situated campsite. Not far from the city center of Winterthur and yet in the countryside. The owner family is very friendly. The site, including the sanitary facilities, is very well maintained! The campsite does not have a restaurant or store. However, the nearest restaurant is less than 50 meters away. Die Stellplätze sind ausreichend groß, man kommt einfach und schnell mit dem ÖPN nach Zürich rein. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sauber, jedoch ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Wir waren mit dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und dem Aufenthalt allgemein zufrieden.

I'll be back!Well-arranged, clean campsite with exciting permanent and short-term campers. Friendly staff who sometimes ask how you are. The campsite is ideally located near a shopping center that caters to all needs. The Schützenhaus offers catering and entertainment of all kinds. The place is very nice and cozy. Above all, everything is very clean and beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. My neighbors and also the people in charge here are all super symphatich... and also the... people in charge here are all super symphatich and very friendly. a camping place to enjoy!!! The facilities were extremely clean and the "group tent" with tables, fridge, TV and heating (which was important in the fall!) was very good. The barbecue area with seats and the tables and chairs... at each campsite were also very practical - we hardly needed any equipment apart from our tent and sleeping bags! The children like the small playground and everyone likes the surroundings with the large Migros supermarket and the restaurant by the pond. The only downside: you can hear the traffic quite well, but Oropax was enough for me, the children can't hear anything anyway.Automatiškai išversta.

Thomas R.October 2013Very friendly reception. Conveniently located near the highway (but you can't hear anything from the highway at the campsite). Bus stop about 300 meters from the campsite, from there to the center of Winterthur. Several times an hour from Winterthur to Zurich by train in about 25 minutes. At the reception... you get information material about the region, you can also buy bus and train tickets for Zurich and Winterthur at the reception. The place was well occupied, if only because of the many permanent campers, be sure to inform before arrival (call or e-mail) if something is free. Sanitary facilities were always clean and well heated, soap dispensers and paper towels available, no individual washing cubicles. The number of showers and toilets seemed a bit too small to us, but there was never a bottleneck, there was always something free. The grass paving stones on the pitch were very good, especially in dirty weather. Small, well-kept children's playground available. Car must be parked outside the campsite. Very nice mini golf course next to the campsite. Restaurant and snack bar in the immediate vicinity. Shopping center with gas station about 300 meters away, in the gas station (small supermarket) there are already delicious rolls, pretzels, etc. early in the morning.
