All it takes is a phone call to the operator, who speaks perfect German. The site is terraced, so you have a good view over the olive trees and the mountains opposite. Yes - and by the way ;-) of course also the beautiful Lake Garda. There are several... sanitary blocks on the site, all of which were always clean. The site also has a small store and, how could it be otherwise, a PIZZERIA, which has a terrace with a view of the lake. It would be pointless to name all the towns on the shores of the lake that invite you to take a stroll. But be careful when eating in some of the restaurants. We stopped off in Limone. When we paid, the bill included 12.00 euros for the table decorations! No point in discussing it. I would like to spare myself any further words of praise. After very nice email contact, we were able to arrive and choose a pitch. The reception was not manned. Nobody was there the following days either. After emailing again, we were told no stress 😊. So unless you urgently need to speak to someone,... this is handled in a completely relaxed manner. After 9 days, I finally signed us in and then signed us out again 2 days later. As mentioned, the operators are very friendly. The site is extremely quiet at this time of year and the choice of pitches is good. Due to the terraced site, you have a view of the lake from most of the pitches. The lake itself can be reached via an underpass. So you don't have to cross the sometimes very busy road. However, you hardly notice any of this on the pitches. At least on the higher pitches, where it was very quiet. The store and pizzeria were closed during this time. There was only a small, heated sanitary building open. 1 WC and 2 showers for the ladies, for the men there was 1 WC, 1 shower and 1 disabled WC with shower and washbasin. This was still sufficient over Christmas. But not on the days just before and after New Year's Eve. You could wash up in the same room as the washbasins (3 washbasins on the right and 2 washbasins on the left). We did not see a cleaner during this time. Only the garbage cans in the sanitary facilities were finally emptied after days. If more sanitary facilities had been open and these had been cleaned regularly, I could absolutely recommend the place. Very pleasant atmosphereNeigiamiNarrow pebble beach directly below the shore roadVery nice campsite in the immediate vicinity of Cassone (Malcesine)We (family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 15) stayed at the campsite for almost two weeks in the high season. In contrast to almost all other campsites on Lake Garda, this one was not overcrowded in the high season. Arriving without a reservation was no problem. The site is located in terraces... directly on the lake (only separated by the road). The atmosphere on the pitch is pleasant. Larger groups are placed in the upper area. It is very quiet further down. A few Italian permanent campers complement the otherwise colorful hustle and bustle with tents, campers and caravans. There is a wonderful view of the lake from almost every pitch. Olive trees provide shade. The lakeside road is barely audible on the campsite and does not cause any disturbance. There is an underpass to the beach. The campsite has its own bathing area with a bathing jetty. However, like almost everywhere on northern Lake Garda, it is quite cramped there. It is located almost directly below the busy road on a very narrow pebble beach. The campsite's sanitary facilities are no longer the newest but are always clean. They are cleaned several times a day. There is nothing to complain about. The campsite is very well run. There is a pizzeria and a small market. The idyllic Cassone is within walking distance. The center of Malcesine can be easily reached by bike in 15 to 20 minutes. There is a kite school on the campsite. We were passing through in August and were given a very friendly welcome for 3 nights without having to book. The pitches are unparceled and terraced. Swimming in very clean lake water, rock beach, restaurant. Quiet and civilized. Almost always space available.
