Ideal on the way to Portugal
We used the site on the way from Porto to France. The staff are friendly. There is a lot of dog waste outside the campsite. Unfortunately, the dog owners left their dogs' droppings lying around. The restaurant offers simple meals at fair prices. The pitches are large enough. Lots of children and lots of dogs. At the end of June the site was 1/3 full.

Friendliness
According to the ACSI POI in the navigation system, the remote site should be open from 15.1. We arrived there after a long drive on March 10 around 18:00. Although the site was busy and there was obviously enough free space, the groundsman sent us away. Even the request to stay only one night or to... use the parking lot in front of the gate was of no interest. I then saw in the 2017 ACSI guide that the campsite would only be open from 13.3. Be that as it may, service looks different.

Starting point for sightseeing in the Basque Country
The place is suitable as a starting point for various visits to the Basque Country (Vitoria-Gasteiz, Valle Salado, Parque Natural Valderejo etc.). The reception and service in the restaurant are very friendly. The campsite has a covered swimming pool. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. There is a kiosk and a restaurant.
