Super great bread rolls, no car noise/restlessness on the pitch, super WLAN. A small beach with a barrier for children and a shoe rack in front of the deep water for the grown-ups to make it easier to get into the deeper water. The cleanliness is okay, but the friendliness of the owners seems artificial. Although there is ice cream and fresh bread rolls in the morning, the nearest store is only accessible after about 2 kilometers... on a cycle path - which is impractical, especially with children. The sanitary facilities are clean and spacious, but not really inviting. There is a small children's washbasin, but this seems to be just an alibi. The view of the lake is nice, but the small beach with the surfboards is hardly worth mentioning. Although the playground is there, it is rather carelessly designed and the few toys seem rather worn out. The rules are strict and pedantically monitored - no wonder we felt like we were constantly being watched, as if our every move was a nuisance. The feeling of being unwanted was reinforced not only by the owners, but also by the other guests. This campsite may be okay for perfectly quiet (only) children or childless visitors, but it is definitely not recommended for families with children.Automatiškai išversta.

As soon as we arrived, we were told that lively children were not welcome on this site. This is of course disappointing for families traveling with children.
The rules on the campsite are extremely strict and are... meticulously monitored. Any small deviation is immediately reprimanded, which makes the atmosphere rather unpleasant. You don't feel like you're on vacation, but rather like you're under constant surveillance.
The numerous mice on the lawn were also a big problem. They seemed to be everywhere, especially in the evening, which was not only unhygienic but also quite unpleasant.
The condition of the sanitary facilities was also unacceptable. There was often a strong, unpleasant smell in the toilets, which made using the facilities an unpleasant experience.
While noise is generally prohibited, this rule does not seem to apply to the owner. He himself regularly caused considerable disturbance with compressed air, lawnmowers and loud telephone ringing. It is difficult to understand why the peace and quiet should only apply to guests.
Overall, I cannot recommend this campsite. The strict rules, the inappropriate treatment of families with children, the plague of mice and the unpleasant smell make a stay here a rather negative experience.Automatiškai išversta. - Marion H.June 2023TeigiamiA perfectly organized family business. It is very well maintained and the owners are very friendly. There is ice cream and fresh rolls in the morning. The nearest shops are about 2 km away and can be reached almost exclusively via the cycle path. The sanitary facilities are adequate,... clean and spacious, so there is plenty of room in the shower, even with children. There is a children's washbasin in the men's and women's washrooms. You have a view of the lake from almost every pitch and there is even a small beach with two surfboards for paddling. The playground is nicely designed and clearly visible, there is also a toy box and two vehicles for the small children. There are rules that must be observed, e.g. quiet times, no throwing stones into the water, cycling on the site only at walking speed. Although we adhered to these rules, which is exhausting with two small children, we unfortunately felt like we were constantly being watched and always had the feeling that we were disturbing them. Not necessarily from the owners, but also from some guests. So the campsite is definitely recommended with extremely quiet (only) children or without children.Automatiškai išversta.

As already described in the many reviews before us, we were also able to convince ourselves that if you really want to enjoy peace and quiet as a camper, there is no way around Hainz am See! If you are looking... for an awning party until the early hours of the morning, entertainment and a sardine can pitch feeling on your vacation, you should NOT go there. If, like us, you value a well-kept site, clean and modern sanitary facilities, a friendly atmosphere and lots of peace and relaxation, you should definitely go there. And yes, it's true, the Eder family attaches great importance to peace and order on their site and this is precisely the reason why most of them are regular guests and always happy to come back. We will definitely be back! A special thank you also to Mrs. Eder for the stockings she knitted for our little one! This is another unique example of the warm hospitality there. Large pitches, wonderful lake view, very nice, well-kept park with beautiful trees. Very nice, clean sanitary facilities, bread roll service, ice cream shop. And the most important thing for us was the... peace and quiet. No entertainment, no music, no cars, no partying groups, pure relaxation. Sleeping until 10 a.m. and only hearing the rustling of the trees and the twittering of birds, paradise. This was not the last time we were here. - Reiner T.June 2018Really good if you are looking for peace and quiet and want to relax by the lakeThe site is exceptionally well maintained, everything is very tidy and well thought out. The sanitary facilities leave nothing to be desired. Very quiet location, directly on the lake, wonderful swimming opportunities in the warm water, even hooks for flip-flops are available. The caravans are pulled... onto the perfectly level pitch by towing vehicle. The campsite is only open between Whitsun and the end of the Bavarian summer vacation. In June, outside the vacations, there was little going on. Perfect for relaxing. Birdsong, flocks of starlings, sunset over the lake, fireflies. The operators are very present and take care of every detail. This may seem too regimented for some, but we really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the truly beautiful location. No kiosk, no entertainment, but bread roll service (very good bread rolls!). Excursions by bike and car. Recommended: beer garden at the Unterwirt in Petting, Schönramer beer.Automatiškai išversta.

The location is super quiet and secluded, if you are looking for peace and seclusion (like us) this is the place for you. Car-free = brilliant peace and quiet. Everyone who comes here knows what they are getting into. In return, you are rewarded with a brilliant... location directly on the lake and a tranquillity that is second to none. The owners take great care to observe the quiet times and the "freedom from cars". You either like it or you don't. We knew what we were getting into and really enjoyed our visit. Lack of site regulations, is unfortunately arbitrary.No campsite for childrenWe wanted to spend 9 days on the site with our granddaughter. However, we left after 6 days because of the senior campsite owner. The senior has a set of rules on how children and adults should behave, which only he has in his head. This changes depending on his mood or the number of stays. For example,... my husband was not allowed to play badminton with our granddaughter over a small iron fence, because the badminton could have injured a guest on the head. Between 1 and 3 p.m. there is a lunch break and you are not allowed in the lake (but it doesn't say that anywhere), even if you behave quietly like our granddaughter and her camping friend. We were sitting by the lake, the children were talking quietly, when the senior came and shouted at the children to be quiet. When I replied that they were quiet, they were talking quietly, he shouted that it would be better if the children had gone. The behavior shocked us and so we broke off the vacation. Of course, the senior had previously made numerous comments about the children, not just ours, which made us shake our heads. We didn't want to go on another vacation with our granddaughter in this child-hostile environment, and two other guests left that day for the same reason; they had approached me about it beforehand. To be fair, I would like to mention that the junior is a very open-minded, friendly man and if he takes over the campsite, you can book it again.Automatiškai išversta.

If you are looking for hustle and bustle, you can go to one of the large campsites, if you are... looking for peace and quiet and have no problem with the fact that your car is not allowed on the site, this is the place for you. Bernd H.May 2016TeigiamiCar-free, no dogs on site, plenty of space on the pitch itself, no entertainment, pure nature, no permanent campers, WLANPure camping, most beautiful place at the Waginger SeeThis is still pure camping :-) Wonderfully quiet and, above all, car-free campsite. We have been on this site with the caravan for many years and it is simply brilliant when the distance to the neighboring site is sooo big that you don't accidentally pull out a peg from the neighbor when tightening :-)... so there is enough space. You also don't have to worry about unauthorized people entering the site, as is the case with many other sites in the area. Here everyone looks out for each other... The children can romp around all day (except at lunchtime) without the risk of running in front of a car..... At the lake there is a non-swimmer area and a large sunbathing lawn with a solar shower. The new Mediterranean sanitary building is very nice. The site is very clean. The owners are very friendly and give any support if there are any problems. There are also no parties or similar, the night's rest from 22.30 is observed. The nearest shops are in Petting or Waging. Both are easy to reach by bike. No food or drinks are sold on the pitch itself. There is a bakery ordering service. A campfire with stick bread for the children also takes place regularly in summer. So if you want to relax and don't like a lot of hustle and bustle, this is the place for you. We would love to come back :-Automatiškai išversta.

The end always looks the same: Row upon row, like in a refugee camp or a traveler's parking lot. Not so at Hainz am See. Approx. 50 parking spaces with a park-like spaciousness,... never far from the bathing lake. A brand new wash house in a hotel-like style leaves nothing to be desired. If you are looking for relaxation and peace and quiet, this is the place to be. No coffee bar, no entertainment, no frills - camping as it was originally intended! The caravan is unhitched in front of the barrier and then pulled onto the pitch by a small tractor. Cars have no access to the pitch! The pitches are also suitable for large caravans, many are right on the lakeshore, but... there are also pitches with lake views a little further away from the shore. Very clean, new sanitary building with tasteful furnishings, well-functioning showers! The surrounding area is very suitable for cycling and hiking, overall a site more for nature lovers looking for peace and quiet than for campers who like entertainment and action. Sanitary brand new !!!NeigiamiNot for young people and loud parties, but quiet and something to chill out to ;-)Quiet campsite with very nice operators - family atmosphereA place that is perfect for people who want peace and quiet. No noise. There is a lunch break from 13:00 - 15:00, which is very convenient even for families with small children, as they can take a nap then. Very tasty smoked fish is offered depending on the season. Bread roll service can be changed at... any time. Nice people, everything is top clean and very well maintained. They value the guests who appreciate this. No soccer allowed, but there are plenty of alternatives. Courteous hosts - but what goes around comes around. Children spraying the new sanitary facilities without the parents caring or letting the children shower continuously (30 min) is not uncommon - really uncool !!!. Everything is kept spotlessly clean and the senior loves his lawn :-) The owners are lovely people, but they pay attention to a few rules. And you can't live together without rules. We would love to go there again :-) Above all, you can let the children jump - because car-free - park in front of the campsite - therefore flexible at any time.
