We could not get used to the rooster crowing in the night from 4 o'clock in the short time.
Great short vacation
We spent a nice short vacation (3 nights) here with children (11/14). The campsite is very well maintained, very friendly people, quiet, not too crowded. The site is located directly on a quiet bay of the Ardeche. There is a great sports field and playground for the kids. Live music in the evenings and... a lovely pool. Not too crowded. The sanitary facilities were always clean, but need to be renovated when the opportunity arises. And we really liked it, thank you very much!

The sanitary facilities in our section are a bit outdated - barely adequate in high season.
Almost alone on the pitch
August 24th was the off-season - and we were actually almost alone on the pitch. So it was very quiet and pleasant. The site is generally very quiet. The facilities are simple and the site offers a very good starting point for excursions in the surrounding area.

Quiet, shady in midsummer, favorable place for canoeists

Occasional disturbances caused by commercial operations and military training flights
The site is located directly on the Ardèche, but only has a few pitches on the banks, which are naturally very popular and quickly taken. The parceled-out area is partly slightly inclined with a flat meadow surface and relatively dense tree population. With a few exceptions, the pitches are only defined... by the trees. Overall, the site is largely shaded. Only an elevated part of the site on the edge is treeless. The site is also a little way from the road and is therefore quiet. During the week, there may be occasional disturbance from the adjacent gravel dredging site, air force training flights and the sports airfield near Ruoms. There is a not-too-narrow strip of grass on the shore as a beach (unsupervised). There is also a children's playground and a small playing field. In addition to the obligatory bar with a small restaurant, there is a small store on the campsite for the essentials; bread can be pre-ordered. Larger purchases can be made in nearby Ruoms. Rental boats are available. Wifi is free, but not available throughout the site. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and spread over two buildings. Washing machines (tokens) are available. The small swimming pool is very well maintained. In the high season the campsite is packed, so you have to live with the usual restrictions. The staff were friendly and courteous. I can only recommend this place.
