The bar/restaurant was very busy, but again we didn't test it. The bakery and butcher in the village are highly recommended. Nice excursions in the area. Status... 2018: We were only looking for a place to stay overnight and found this site via the ACSI CampCard guide. We were impressed by the surrounding landscape and the location of the site on this beautiful lake. We were completely satisfied with everything, but we didn't want to go out to eat, we just wanted to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. This site offered us just that. We didn't notice any highway noise, perhaps the wind was favorable? On the contrary, it was really wonderfully quiet and idyllic - of course, it may be different when everything is full.Automatiškai išversta.

The size of the CP is pleasantly manageable. Wonderful panorama from the few pitches with lake view. The water in the lake has a great blue-green color and is quite clear (when it has rained heavily, the inflow washes in many suspended particles and the water becomes... somewhat cloudy. At the beginning of September, the water temperature was 14 degrees. Too cold for swimming without neoprene. It's just a mountain lake. A lot of short-term visitors, at least in the off-season. Because of its proximity to the highway (comes out of the tunnel directly above the campsite), it is well used as a stopover on the way to and from the south. The standard pitches are small and open on all sides. The more expensive Comfort pitches are larger and usually have a view of the lake. The sanitary facilities are absolutely inadequate. There are only two (2) toilets each for women and men on the entire campsite. A third disabled toilet remained permanently locked. You have to bring your own toilet paper. The three showers per gender are also too few - strangely enough, the disabled shower was open. Due to the lack of drainage in the cubicles, you are always standing in cold shower water after showering. With full occupancy in high season, I imagine the situation with toilets and showers to be catastrophic. A real cheek at the price of 28,- € (2 pers without dog comfort pitch with lake view). There is a daily service for baguettes and croissants (order the day before) and simple snacks during the day and in the evening. A restaurant on the pitch next door cooks ONLY for its own guests... In 6 days at the campsite, I never managed to catch a smile from the elderly couple who run it. So there is still plenty of room for improvement in terms of friendliness. Incidentally, the highway hardly disturbs you - depending on the wind direction. At night you could hardly hear it at all.Automatiškai išversta.

We only booked one night with CSI and were therefore referred to the pitch next to the restaurant and told that there was no possibility to dispose of toilet and waste water. Unfortunately, the pitches next to the campsite have no direct access to the lake. Air temperature > 27 degrees, water felt like 10 degrees. Probably because it's a mountain lake. The site and the sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. The pitches are shady and mostly flat. Unfortunately,... the number of toilets and showers is small, but with a bit of planning this can also be managed. Breakfast pastries are only available by prior arrangement, the coffee and drinks selection and quality is very good. The operators are very friendly and helpful.Automatiškai išversta.

However, getting there with a large caravan can be a bit of an adventure, especially if you follow the satnav ;-). About... the site: Very manageable, clean, new sanitary facilities, small bar, bread roll service by prior arrangement. Bread roll service for breakfast, kayak rental and a beautiful lawn with trees are offered. My motorcycle friends and I were looking for something nice in the area and this campground was refreshing. It's quiet for sleeping , nice rides around on perfect roads, nice shakes , a bit colder swimming... in the lake, bathrooms nice and clean, decent bar with essentials , restaurant on the other side of the lake 15 min walk and a few more in the nearby village. The operators of the campsite are friendly and invisible in a good way. Last but not least I have to raise the very low price for the stay. I can recommend it to everyone.Automatiškai išversta.

No sanitary sink, showers with push buttons, everything in need of renovation! Freeway within earshot. Only 1 pizzeria in the village, no restaurant. Access from the north via a very narrow and winding side road, if there... is oncoming traffic you have to back up to the next turnout. Lake very nice, but cold. Even in midsummer you have to be hardened to swim in the lake. Directly on the lake (cold); parceled out; partly shady; slightly sloping terrain (wedges are an advantage!); many electricity boxes; separate area for tents; KAJAK rental; bar with snacks; no restaurant; no store (bread... on pre-order). The sanitary building is modern and functionally furnished; the mirrors at the washbasins may hang a little too low :-); in the HS it could be a little "too tight": 2 x men's WC; 2 x men's shower! But very spacious! (beach). Adjacent to a nature reserve/recreation area with well-maintained hiking trails. The site is very quiet (at least) at night, so it is also suitable for campers looking for peace and quiet. The surrounding area doesn't... offer much in the way of a movie theater, but there are plenty of beautiful spots to explore on foot or by bike. With its cafés and small stores (there is also a small supermarket), the village offers plenty of shopping opportunities, so you don't necessarily have to drive to the nearest town (approx. 15 km) to go shopping. Some of the pitches are by the lake (footpath between the campsite and the beach), but the pitches a little further away are also good and can be easily accessed by longer caravans.Automatiškai išversta.

The owners are extremely helpful, are happy to recommend hikes, provide guests with drinks and snacks at the bar and organize a bread roll service. Everything is very friendly and the prices are more than fair.... The sanitary facilities are clean and fairly new, but there is no toilet paper or soap, which I found a bit annoying. Extremely clean sanitary facilities, could perhaps be a little bigger. Bread service in the morning. You can always get a drink or a small Italian breakfast in the bar. Martin S.May 2013We were on the course at Whitsun 2013. Due to the mixed weather, we (2 families) were partly alone on the site. The site is very small (approx. 50 pitches), but the location in the middle of nature is great. The campsite is right on the lake. There is a bar that is open every day. You can also order... bread rolls there. For shopping you have to go to the town of Alesso, where there are bakers, butchers and 2 small supermarkets. It is about 10 minutes on foot. The staff is very friendly, fond of children and very helpful. We would especially like to thank them for the cleanliness, you could have eaten from the floor of the sanitary buildings. There are countless sights nearby (butterfly house, bird of prey park, amusement park, etc.) We will have to come back again, as there are many things we have not yet seen. We had a great and relaxing time at the campsite. Mille Grazie a Matteo, Silvia, Elena e Galdino. ****A small but very nice campsite. The campsite is at the wonderful lake.The campsite has a bar, where you can order bread for the morning. For other things you can walk about 10 min. to alesso. The bathroom was always absolutely clean. Crowded only in August, it deserves to be visited and experienced at all times of the year. The manager is a friendly and helpful young man who creates a serene and relaxing atmosphere throughout the campground.... Ideal for families with children, sportsmen and nature lovers.
