The camp itself is fine, but access to the river is a very steep concrete and stone path in the bank. Not good for infirm and young kids.
A Typical, well-run Ardeche campsite
We've stayed at several campsites on the Ardeche, and this is typical. Well run, clean and great for a base to explore the rivers and gorges. There is a small shop and cafe-restaurant serving good food at reasonable prices, a small pool and, of course, the Ardeche river. If you camp near the river - brilliant, but I imagine at the other end near the entrance and main road - not so good. Good sized pitches on firm ground, with decent shade.

Beautifully situated campsite directly on the Ardèche
Our spontaneous decision to take a trip to the Ardèche led us to this campsite. We were able to choose one of the proposed, really large pitches. It was also nice and quiet towards the river, in the evening you can hear the animation from the neighboring pitches. We needed an adapter for the electricity,... which we borrowed from reception without any problems. The sanitary facilities, some of which are new, are clean and really nice, but why isn't there even soap in the toilets for 4 stars? The pool, with whirlpool, was a bit too cold for us. What was really bad were the many burrs directly on the pitches, which is hell for long-haired dogs! The location on the river is nice, you can also swim to some extent, it's not deep, but with the current and the many stones, not so easy. Then there are the many, many canoeists. But the water was wonderful! And not cold at all. Our dogs also enjoyed it, they were allowed everywhere on the water without any restrictions. You walk along the river across the neighboring pitches, but that doesn't bother anyone here. There are no sidewalks on the busy road, which is a shame, we preferred to cycle into the village. You can do a bit of shopping there and eat really well. The Pont d'Arc is easy to reach by bike or car. The area is a dream!!!

Great place, very clean, friendly staff
We were here in June 2016 (low season !!) and can only recommend the place. The sanitary facilities are all new! Very clean, but the site is now very sparsely occupied. Directly on the Ardeche with its own boat rental. Large pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents; incl. electricity, showers, water... on site; restaurant is not so good, but the pizzas are said to be good. Vallon is about 10 minutes away by bike; nice little village with nice little stores and cafes/restaurants. Price € 31 incl. Very quiet, a pair of hoopoes come next to us from time to time....

Nice, quiet pitch, with a small, steep path down to the Ardeche. Some of the pitches for tents/caravans are really very large. Sanitary facilities are completely in order. They are cleaned about 2-3 times a day.

The site has very short access to the Ardeche. It is quite steep and not suitable for sunbathing. The whole site looks like a tube and has an artificial atmosphere. The sanitary facilities are clean, but not worth 4 stars (as described at the entrance). The rating is probably more due to the pool and the sports facilities. If you don't need a pool or tennis courts, you've come to the wrong place.

Very nicely located CP directly on the Ardèche. Very friendly staff. Large parceled pitches for different needs. (Shady, semi-shady, sunny). Modern and clean sanitary facilities. For a quiet vacation, the pitches near the Ardèche are recommended, as the entertainment program of the directly adjacent C-pitches is sometimes louder than the program on your own CP. Overall recommended.

Very friendly reception. Sanitary facilities are clean but a bit dated. Shopping facilities are adequate, restaurant is typically French with very dedicated staff.
