A spontaneous reservation on the same day went smoothly by phone. The campsite impresses with its large and beautifully laid out pitches, as well as its quiet location on the edge of the small town of Obernai. The sanitary facilities are very clean and the campsite staff are very friendly. When it rains, the meadow in front of it is already muddy. The sanitary building is not up to date but is adequate and clean. Great walks in the immediate vicinity. The town of Obernai is very nice and easy to reach on foot. (approx. 20 min) Many excursion destinations nearby. And the outdoor pool is almost on the neighboring property. Large pitches, with open spaces in between, water/electricity connection at every pitch. Sanitary facilities are clean and available in sufficient numbers. The town of Obernai is within walking distance and invites you to stroll and linger. The pitches are large enough and have electricity and water connections. The sanitary facilities are older, but always clean.
You can start beautiful hikes from the site and there are many walks for dog owners. The campsite is... also very popular with dog owners. We have never seen so many dogs on any other campsite.
A bread roll service is offered in the high season. But it's not far to the nearest good bakery either.
We really enjoyed our vacation. The area offers something for all tastes.

The Mont Sainte-Odile is an interesting destination for a bicycle tour, with a difference in altitude of approx. 500m. The small town of Obernai is within easy walking distance. Very nice staff, clean (even if not necessarily the newest of the newest) and affordable. We spent a total of 9 nights there over Easter - the children didn't even want to go home :) Very centrally located (Strasbourg 30, Colmar 50 km), everything... within easy reach. No permanent campers - personally an advantage - I prefer real campers for whatever reason. But I think we were the only ones without a dog - I'm fine without one ;)Automatiškai išversta.

The pitches on grass are graveled for the awning sites. ##### Facilities such as minigolf, boulodrome, playground, recreation room and covered meeting place are free of charge. ##### Small fridges and lockers are available for hire, as are some mobile homes, etc. ##### A highly recommended site for exploring Strasbourg and the surrounding area of Obernai, our fourth stay there this year .... There were a lot of trees, bushes and hedges. And the road network itself, most of which was paved, was well developed. There were plenty of installations in the service building and it was clean both indoors and outdoors. The service was both friendly and welcoming. The plots are easily accessible, with water, electricity and drainage connections. The sanitary facilities (one of which is heated out of season) are generally well maintained, but not often enough (out of season): once a day is not enough to guarantee cleanliness. Well-situated... on the edge of the charming little town of Obernai; no need to take the car to stroll around town or to find a good restaurant (there's no shortage of them in Obernai!) We often go there outside the summer vacations to recharge our batteries, a guaranteed change of scenery if you love Alsace like we do. The town center is within easy walking distance (max. 10 minutes), and the highlights of Alsace from Colmar to Strasbourg can be experienced by car. On the campsite really genuine campers so that the relatively simple sanitary facilities... were always clean. There was a bit of a traffic jam in front of the cabins in the morning... In the mornings, the reception offers super tasty baguettes and always "the essentials" in terms of food, and in the evenings there are various "food trucks" on the site. There is a children's playground. The swimming pool is a 5-minute walk away, but costs extra. There are lots of good shady spots under the trees, some of which are old - of course, there are mosquitoes. WiFi is available free of charge on request at reception, unfortunately the WiFi is sometimes overloaded in the evening. It is sufficient for contact with the outside world and sometimes even Skype works.Automatiškai išversta.

And why notHappy EasterThe stay from Maundy Thursday to Easter Monday was relaxing from the very beginning. The nice response to our reservation and the friendly welcome were very positive for us. Thanks to the ladies at reception! Free wifi and clean sanitary facilities completed our stay. Unfortunately, a German group of campers was not so familiar with the cleanliness of the toilets. Heated sanitary facilities were clean, the occasional moldy joints are to be criticized. Staff friendly and helpful. The range of shops was rather poor, but didn't interest us much as... we always shop outside the pitches. The site is ideally located for excursions in Alsace. Obernai itself is a lovely little tourist town and is particularly beautiful at Christmas time. The Christmas market lasted until 31.12.! Strasbourg is also only between 25 and 30 km away.
