The sanitary facilities are clean.
The pitches are small. The site has existed for decades. In the past, people had smaller caravans, campers or traveled... with a tent. Nowadays it all seems very tight. The pitches are all fenced in with hedges and lots of trees provide shade and create a nice overall picture.

Joints with mold/mildew stains. In some showers the water hardly runs off. The showers and toilets were not particularly clean. Some of the toilet paper and paper towels were not refilled. In my opinion, the shower and toilet facilities were inadequate. Price-performance ratio does not fit, electricity disproportionately expensive. Located near a railroad line, at night the freight traffic disturbs.Location good, otherwise not recommendable.Good location near Salzburg. Great cycle path to Salzburg.

This makes it a good starting point for bike tours. There is also a bus stop near the campsite.
The campsite itself is a family-run campsite that is already a few years old. Unfortunately, this is noticeable in various areas, especially... the sanitary facilities are rather outdated and the number of men's toilets is rather low. In addition to a low ceiling height and a relatively narrow space with poor ventilation, it seems to be rather difficult to bring about major improvements to the existing facilities due to the structural conditions. Staff were also told about running water in the showers and faulty fittings with a shrug of the shoulders, "that would have been known for a long time".
The pitch itself is also rather narrow, very large caravans reach their limits here when negotiating bends. As the pitches are not always very large either, campers sometimes have to park their cars on the edge of the pitch or beyond, which in turn makes it difficult to drive through.
Reception with attached mini mini kiosk (fresh bread rolls) and small café.
Conclusion: ok for 2 nights and a visit to Salzburg, but too expensive in relation to the overall service.Automatiškai išversta.

Some are definitely too small for a longer stay.We will be back!My children were previously convinced that a great vacation was only possible by the sea/Lake Garda.
Now they know that it is also possible "at home".
Camping Sam has also contributed a lot to this. It's almost Italian flair when you sit on the terrace, enjoy a good cappuccino, close your eyes and listen... to the birds (owls)... The peace and quiet is wonderful - despite the location "in the middle of the city".
The children let off steam in the small swimming pool after excursions in the surrounding area (e.g. Salzburg City, Salzkammergut, Hallstatt, etc.).
We liked it very much. Very nice staff. There was a large branch on our pitch that was getting in the way so we couldn't park our camper properly. We were given a saw and the problem was solved. The site is very well maintained, there is a playground for the little ones,... a pool and a restaurant with bread service (but we didn't try it). The bus stop is about 100mtr away and leads directly to the center. Tickets are available at reception. The sanitary facilities are clean, but the showers are rather small and your clothes could get wet in the shower if you're not really careful. There is a train line nearby. If you are awake, you can hear the train, but rather quietly. Otherwise, the campsite is very quiet.Automatiškai išversta.

The individual pitches are parceled out, there is a small swimming pool and a small kiosk where you can also get bread rolls in the morning.... The drive from/to the highway is short, making it ideal for overnight stays. You have to search a bit for a walk with your four-legged friends. The cycle path starting 100 meters away on the old railroad embankment of the Salzkammergut-Localbahn, which once ran from Salzburg to Bad Ischl, is beautiful. The cycle path into the town center along a stream and later along the Salzach is also recommended. Just like the many sights in and around the city of Salzburg.Automatiškai išversta.

The site, which is ideal for a visit to Salzburg anyway, is also a good starting point for excursions into the surrounding area (Königssee etc.). Well-kept and very quiet campsite on the outskirts near the highway, also some pitches for large caravans / camper vans,... very friendly operators, bus stop in front of the door. Flat and floodlit cycle path at night (approx. 30 min. to the old town, approx. 1 hour to Hellbrunn Palace). Very clean sanitary facilities, nice airy washroom that can be completely opened to one side. Wonderful flowers, old trees, all plots separated by hedges, nice swimming pool. Perfect location to visit Salzburg. Bus stop on the doorstep, alternatively take the bike. But to use this place purely as a place to stay overnight does not do it justice. It is a green oasis on the outskirts of Salzburg. Family-run campsite... with attention to detail. Super friendly operators. Although the pitches are relatively small, they are still perfectly adequate. The swimming pool makes up for this on hot days. Standard sanitary facilities always spotlessly clean.

The access road is a bit narrow, but it fits. The reception was friendly and the pitch was allocated immediately. The pitches are a bit narrow, parceled out but functional. The site is ideally located for sightseeing tours. The bread roll... service was excellent. The sanitary facilities were clean and were cleaned several times.
