Hermann M.June 2024TeigiamiThe CP is very well located. From there, many activities are possible, whether by car, by bike, on foot or by boat. The site staff are very polite and helpful. The sanitary facilities are exemplary clean, washing machine and dryer available.NeigiamiThe WiFi described in the brochure was very limited, actually not available at all. TV reception was not possible for us as our pitch was at the bottom of the path.Vacation in Poplar BayIn general, the pitch is highly recommended. The water supply is easy to reach, as is the power supply.

In the immediate vicinity there are beach bars, fish stalls,... boat hire and the town is only a few meters away (good shopping facilities)
Bathing facilities are available and entry to the adjacent lido is free for campers.
All in all, a campsite worth recommending.

Admission to the Müritz outdoor pool was free (€3/person per day)NeigiamiAs the new facilities (showers without shelves/hooks, toilet not yet ready for use) were in place, I would have expected a goodwill price. 30€ plus tourist tax for 2 people with mobile per day is still not reasonable. The garbage bin was full on Fridays and was not emptied at the weekend. The children's playground is unimaginative. The Pappelklause is not a restaurant, just a place to sit.Space with potential for positive developmentThe nature campsite is characterized by many large trees. Depending on the weather, the shade can be bothersome or helpful. There are no paved paths, so you can expect a lot of dust. As the wash house/toilet buildings are still in the final stages of construction, the site can be recommended, particularly because of its proximity to the water.Automatiškai išversta.

Simple toilets and showers cost 1 euro/5 minutes, the showers are very narrow and there are no dry storage facilities. Bread roll service and homemade cakes in the afternoon. There is... a small playground for children and fishing is possible with a tourist license. The outdoor pool is free for campers. To the town 20 minutes on foot or with free shuttle every 2 hours from CP. New ALDI and Edeka in town, restaurant and ice cream at the harbor. Only the sanitary facilities are an eyesore, old is not bad but it can still be clean. The location of the campsite is very good. Directly on the lake with a very nice lido. But that was it already. Sanitary facilities totally outdated and partly defective. Always smell of urine despite cleaning. Only every second washbasin with hot water. Pitches reasonably okay. Much more could be made of this campsite as it is also located directly on the Müritz cycle path. Nice for cycling.NeigiamiSanitary facilities unfortunately very old and "worn out".Overall: Just about recommendable.As already written, more could be done with this pitch in a really great location. The sanitary facilities are basic standard, but at least they are clean. The Röbel outdoor pool can be used free of charge by camping guests. You can get to Röbel very quickly via the cycle/footpath directly on the Müritz.... The shopping and leisure facilities in Röbel itself are good. You can eat fresh Müritz fish cheaply almost everywhere in the local restaurants. Our recommendation here: The Fischhaus Meyl. Tourist pitches very hilly under tall trees, so that there was hardly any grass, but mostly barren ground or mud (in rainy weather). There are newspapers, bread rolls and ice cream in the sparse reception, but that's about it. Very sparse campsite overall.Automatiškai išversta.
Jürgen T.May 2012We drove 3400 km through Germany in May/June 2012 and also came to the Müritz. The campsite is divided into two parts. The reception and sanitary facilities are still in the GDR style. SAT reception is only possible in very few places on the campsite! Still not bad for travelers passing through.Automatiškai išversta.
