The new shower and toilet areas are very, very nice. A lot has changed for the better in the meantime. The site is divided between apple orchards and the pitches are sufficient. There is now a great store with everything you need at generally normal prices. Fresh bread... rolls are available in the morning. The restaurant is also new and has a large menu for every small and large appetite with seating in the restaurant itself and outside.
The swimming pool area has also been redesigned, everything is great. More sanitary facilities have also been added, very clean. A dedicated family with lots of ideas is continuing to develop the site.
On the negative side, the dog meadow has been sacrificed for more pitches for motorhomes. Overall, every conceivable corner has been made available for camper vans. With the elimination of the dog meadow, you no longer have the chance to take your furry friends for a short walk, unless you take the Passeierweg, which runs right past the campsite and is surrounded by mostly inconsiderate mountain bikers and cyclists. The small meadow next to the tennis courts (belonging to a hotel) is also less suitable for walking.
A beautiful place, but no longer suitable for dogs. The approach from the SS44 from the bus stop down to the campsite on a Sunday afternoon is challenging when 5 cars come towards you one after the other.Really nice campsite !Of all the campsites in the past, certainly the top 5 %.

The sanitary facilities are clean.NeigiamiThe residual waste containers are almost always full! Waste separation very difficult, no plastic (yellow bags) only for plastic bottles, organic waste only a 10L bucket (for the entire campsite). Paper/cardboard only one basket cã. 50x40cm( for the whole campsite). For high speed internet 10€ is charged but the internet is very slow (no high speed). Washing machine and dryer good but very expensive 6€ per use (40min). In the ladies shower the ceiling is covered with mold stains. In the men's shower also mold on the ceiling and the cement ceiling crumbles in some places. Some pitches are flooded during heavy rain. Gray water disposal very difficult because very narrow and at the same time used as a passage! Frequent power failure on the entire site! The obligation to wear masks indoors is not taken seriously (shower, WC, washroom). Very unfortunate because I rely on it (observe/implement requirements such as attaching signs where necessary). Unfortunately, the operator reacts indifferently to criticism, which is perceived as ridiculous. Solution-oriented and serious efforts would be more appropriate! On arrival we tried to swap, but there was no nice and quiet pitch available. Only alternative pitches or pitches at the sanitary facilities. We were in the lower part of the site on the Passer between the public cycle path and the entrance/exit.... It was a very restless site, our (anxious) dog didn't dare leave the camper van for 3 days because you could see (and hear) cyclists riding past despite the privacy fence (with gaps). I was also often frightened by the cyclists. Relaxation was out of the question. The extremely loud river meant that I couldn't sleep the first night. I didn't think it would irritate me so much, as I've often camped by rivers before. We actually booked 6 days, but the nice owners let us leave earlier without paying for the booked stay. Pitches very different: some are great, others not at all. 25m power cable not enough to get electricity. We have never needed such a long cable, reception lent us a cable drum. Far too few water points - especially unpleasant in Corona times. Showers have a lot of water pressure. Sanitary facilities not bad, but in view of the great restaurant, pool area etc. a renovation would be appropriate.
Food in the restaurant is fantastic - never seen so many vegetarian and vegan options in a camping restaurant. Great pizza. We ate in the restaurant on all three days. Compliments. We didn't like the valley so much, too narrow and steep. Ideal location right next to the cable car, tickets are sold at the campsite reception (with a discount) and you don't have to queue at the cable car ticket office. Great hikes on the Hirzer. We liked the campsite in principle, we were just unlucky with the pitch. But when booking, you should be aware that the Passer is not a small, babbling brook, but a wild, rushing mountain river!Great campsiteWe really enjoyed our stay. The pizza was delicious and the store had everything you need. Even fresh bread rolls.
The sanitary area was always clean and so were the places to wash up.
The pool and indoor area are new and very well maintained. There is also an outdoor and indoor shower. Sun loungers are also available.
