Nice snack cart that also offers delicious rolls from the bakery in the morning. Super tasty cake!
They make an effort with the sanitary facilities, but unfortunately everything quickly gets dirty again as the site is very busy.
The showers... should be renewed; they are chargeable and have no "stop" system, which stops the time when you lather up, so I always had to "throw in", unfortunately only shower heads - many do not throw in and you then find unclean showers (still foam everywhere etc).
You can't cycle around the lake, the surrounding area is generally very hilly and offers few cycle paths.
Unfortunately, many of the operators of the surrounding restaurants go on vacation at the end of August.
There are many WLAN repeaters on the site, so reception is great! However, satellite reception is rather difficult (due to the adjacent forest)
Moo's massage was really great. Unfortunately, the massage benches are right next to the playground, so you couldn't really relax because of the noise.
We would come again outside the vacation season as the lake is wonderful for paddling and the surroundings are gorgeous.Automatiškai išversta.- Johanna U.June 2023TeigiamiThe place was clean, the pitches with water and electricity, hot showers cost extra.NeigiamiThe price for electricity per day is 5 kw at 0.80 cents, i.e. 4 euros per day. I supply a household with all electrical appliances and can't use it up. - Mona Lisa L.May 2023TeigiamiNot too big, clean sanitary facilities, nice staffNeigiamiNo hand shower (only fixed shower heads), no paper towels at the WC, noisy childrenBeautifully situated directly on the lakeThe campsite is located directly on Lake Simssee, the pitches are large enough (but very muddy when it rains, as the ground is mostly meadow), nice staff, clean sanitary facilities, delicious bread rolls and cakes on site (food truck). Unfortunately there is only a hot air dryer at the toilet, paper... towels would be better and more hygienic. In the shower (50 ct/approx. 3 min) there are only fixed shower heads. As there were many children, a hand shower would be useful.
Unfortunately, some of the children were already racing around loudly on their skateboards at 8am (for hours and also in the evening), so you can't say that you could sit in front of your car in peace.
It was quiet at night. Dogs are not allowed, which I think is good.
Bad Endorf is easily accessible by bike.

The site is very well maintained and all the staff are extremely friendly and courteous. It was particularly good to be able to do a COVID rapid test directly at the pitch. The child-friendly site is very quiet at night and offers the original camping feeling... during the day. Hiking, cycling and other activities are possible thanks to the central location. Legendary bread roll supply from the Miedl bakery vending cart. Beer and other basic supplies are also available on site. Swimming in the lake is possible until the end of September and longer, weather permitting. Partly shady, partly sunny spots - in the cooler months of the year, the shady spots stay fairly cool.Automatiškai išversta.

The location directly on the lake with sunbathing lawn and hiking trails directly from the site is impressive. It's a shame that there are no restaurants on site. But luckily barbecuing is allowed :)
The... operators are very nice and even when we asked at short notice we always got a pitch.
The sanitary building is no longer the newest, but very clean. It's a shame that the showers are coin-operated. But with the beach right next to the site, it's understandable.Automatiškai išversta.- Sönke P.August 2019TeigiamiVery nice, uncomplicated, quiet location, swimming area, ice machine......NeigiamiWLan coverage in the lower part of the pitch ( C22 )Perfect for a beach vacationFirst of all, we used this campsite almost exclusively to stay overnight in our own caravan and for personal hygiene. We didn't even use the great lake or the swimming area. We only bought good bread rolls at fair prices at the reception. Since there is no catering on the site, there is no rating. We... can therefore only rate this campsite to a very limited extent. The reception staff are very friendly. We had a reservation. The site was full, so this rating can only be given for the high season. The pitches are not as big as ours in Schleswig-Holstein but big enough, the driveways are tarred or gravelled and wide enough. The sanitary building was big enough and almost always clean. There were no waiting times. The showers work with coins 0,50€ / only 3 min. and the water was hot immediately. We found the electricity costs, at €0.60, a little excessive and the WiFi on our pitch in the lower part of the campsite was inaccessible. An early departure without additional costs was possible without any problems. If we had liked Bavaria better, we would gladly spend a few days on this site again.Automatiškai išversta.

Some pitches have a direct view of the lake. The narrow paths are asphalted and all caravan pitches have grass, electricity and water on site. Although the sanitary facilities are clean, they are getting on in years. And €0.50 for a 3-minute shower... is very short. You could pre-order bread rolls, which were very tasty. (No baked goods!). It's a shame that the campsite doesn't have a restaurant. There are 2 restaurants nearby with home-style cooking, but we didn't visit them. The nearest shops are about 5 km away. Unfortunately, we left early because of the rainy weather. We liked it for these 2 days and will gladly visit this place again to relax here for a few days and swim in the beautiful Simssee or just look at the water.Automatiškai išversta.- Martina K.July 2019TeigiamiRest and relaxationNeigiamiThere are pizzas in reception but a nice restaurant with a view over the lake would be nice, this is just a suggestion not a disadvantage.Relaxation and peaceWe spent a few days at this site as a stopover. We hadn't made a reservation, just called shortly beforehand and were given a pitch until a certain time. We received a very friendly welcome and felt very comfortable. It's a small site and is a bit out of the way, which means no hustle and bustle and... pure nature. There is a small shop at reception selling bread rolls and essentials, but a great beer from a local brewery. There is no restaurant, which would have been nice. The always friendly staff give recommendations for restaurants nearby, we went to one of them and can highly recommend it, you have to climb up the mountain through the forest, good physical condition required. Otherwise you can cycle uphill to all destinations.Automatiškai išversta.

We were received very friendly . We were able to choose a nice place directly near the lake . Water and sewage on site . Clean relatively modern sanitary facilities unfortunately with 50 cents for showering . Good bread service with bakery... rolls and newspapers. Next shopping opportunity only in the next village about 15 minutes away by car. The lake is excellent for swimming. Beautiful clear water .
