- Lysann E.July 2023TeigiamiWalking distance to the city, cooling off in the poolNeigiamiMosquitoes without end, self-sufficiency difficultNice place in PaviaThe campsite is located on the edge of the beautiful town of Pavia, which can be reached on foot via a pleasant 2 km path along the Ticino river (walk to the bridge and then turn left into the town center). The campsite itself is located in a quiet area directly on the river. It is highly recommended... to take mosquito repellent with you, otherwise it is almost unbearable. The plus point is the pool, which can make the stay very pleasant, especially with children. There is a toddler pool and a medium-deep, larger pool as well as free sun loungers. The pool area is not of outstanding quality, but is still well maintained and clean. Apart from that, the site doesn't really have anything to offer apart from its convenient location for a stopover. There are no facilities, neither a store, bar nor restaurant. However, there is a tiny grocery store and a wine store, as well as a bar (with a continuous kitchen), gelateria and a good restaurant within 200 m walking distance along the road towards the center of Pavia. The campsites are not particularly large and some of them are unkempt. The sanitary facilities are small and dated, but at least clean.Automatiškai išversta.

- Alexandra L.August 2021Teigiamismall pool, not far from the highway, clean sanitary facilitiesNeigiamiMany mosquitoes, no shopping facilities on site or nearbyPlace for an overnight stayPlace is fine for an overnight stay. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but were clean despite good occupancy.
Due to the proximity to the river there were unfortunately a lot of mosquitoes which makes a stay without mosquito repellent in the evening in front of the camper almost impossible.
The small pool is a good place to cool off.Automatiškai išversta. - Werner S.June 2021TeigiamiNoneNeigiamiNoneClosedUnfortunately, we couldn't find access to the campsite. A barrier was closed from the road and we couldn't find access from the other side. What a pity.Automatiškai išversta.
- Don A.September 2020TeigiamiQuiet locationNeigiami--Pleasant placeShady, large pitches, good sanitary facilities. There were still a lot of mosquitoes in mid-September, but a nice, open lounge area with fly screens. Bakery and restaurant two hundred meters away. Beautiful cycle and footpath along the Ticino right into the center (2-3 km).Automatiškai išversta.
Automatiškai išversta.
- Arune Z.July 2017TeigiamiWe were with dog.NeigiamiRude serviseHorrible service, rude owner arrogantI have never seen such a rude guy all over the world. He talked to us like we disturbe him, with a bossy attitude . At the end he almost shouted at us, and I said that it's his mistake, so he told me to quiet. Can you believe ? And IT was No WIFI . I couldn't connect in reception area. We paid extra money, camping was full so we slept outside the camping for higher fee
- Benjamin B.July 2017TeigiamiClose to the highway for a stopover Very well maintained Nice operators Great pool Nice children's playground Clean sanitary facilitiesNeigiamiTowards evening the mosquitoes...bring mosquito spray and spirolinos, then it's fine Otherwise everything was great!Relaxing stopoverWe visited this site once on the way to and from our summer vacation for an overnight stopover and felt very comfortable here. We received a very friendly welcome and were able to choose a pitch. The whole site is very well maintained and there are lots of nice play areas for children. The sanitary facilities... may not be the newest, but they were always very clean. We really enjoyed the beautifully designed pool in the hot temperatures and after the car journey, and we also liked the hiking trails along the Ticino river, which is easy to reach, so we could go for a walk in the evening. The only pity is that there are no bread rolls or a restaurant on site. However, you can easily find both a few steps away from the campsite in the village. We can recommend the campsite and will certainly stay here again on our trip to the south.Automatiškai išversta.

- Mario P.June 2016TeigiamiThe place is on a good route for an overnight stay if you drive north from the coast of GenoaNeigiamiSwarms of mosquitoes without end, primitive sanitary facilities, the rest, see aboveThe first and the last time.Unfortunately, the day has come today when I have to write my first ever bad review. We were on our way home from Corsica at the end of June. Until then it had been a wonderful vacation. I went to this campsite at around 8pm in the evening in the hope of being able to spend one last nice evening here.... From the outside, the site looked more like a large, typical German allotment garden, but everything looked clean. The owner was visibly annoyed that he still had to deal with customers so late. I politely asked for a parking space for one night. We had a car, a motorcycle trailer and a motorcycle strapped to it with us. When I explained to him that we didn't want to pitch a tent but sleep in the car, things started to get complicated. The car can go to the campsite, but the trailer should stay outside. I explained to him that I didn't want to do that, because we had a lot of other things stowed on the trailer and I didn't want to just park the trailer fully loaded in a parking lot outside. After a lot of talking back and forth, we were graciously allowed to park in the driveway of the campsite directly behind the gate and spend the night for 24 euros a night. In addition, there was a sea of mosquitoes here and you couldn't say a word without one of these creatures sailing down your throat. Another disadvantage for us was that we couldn't drive out until 7am because the gate is closed until then. Shortly before 10 p.m. we were so stung that we decided to spend the night outside the campsite on the park meadow, but then with the car AND trailer, as there weren't so many mosquitoes there and we were no longer tied to the time. Just as I was about to hitch up the trailer and drive off, the owner came and closed the gate in front of me at 10 to 10. Another long discussion until we were allowed out. There we were, pitch dark, no electricity (which I had paid for), but no more swarms of mosquitoes and the option of leaving the site as early as possible the next day. The sanitary facilities were clean, but reminded me more of a fairground tent with a porta-potty. As the campsite is on a main road, we had street noise late into the night until we could finally fall asleep. I still don't understand why I wasn't allowed to use a normal pitch and pay for it. It was all free and there was hardly anything going on? All in all, I can say that this place was simply awful. I don't understand how you can voluntarily stay there for a few days. The oh-so-friendly owner, who is so often emphasized here, is apparently a completely uncorperative evening grouch with a condescending manner who will probably never see us there again. It wasn't just me, my wife was also turned away with an annoyed "ma'am? " at every stupid question. That really annoyed me in the end and I was about to drive on. Next time we'll drive all the way through before we let the very last day of our vacation be ruined like that again. The two stars were only given because the sanitary facilities are clean and the waste separation is excellent. Otherwise it would only have been one star. Too bad about the money, any parking lot by the sea would have been more relaxed.Automatiškai išversta.
- Bernd M.September 2015Nice place to relax for 2 to 3 daysBeautiful large pitches with trees. Sanitary facilities in the rear area designed as a complete shower room and very clean and pleasant. Small new swimming pool with sandy beach for cooling off. There is a lovely cycle path along the river. 3The town of Pavia is well worth a visit. There is a fantastically... well-stocked supermarket 1.5 km away. Our highlight of the stay was the Museum of Electrical Technology (Museo della tecnica elettrica) - Via Ferrata 3, approx. 500 m from the supermarket!!! This museum is completely unknown. So it can happen that you have to knock until someone comes. We were the only ones there and they turned on all the lights for us. It was quite an experience.Automatiškai išversta.
- Claudia W.August 2015TeigiamiGood transit pointNeigiamiSimple sanitary facilities, cold washing-up water, no shop/restaurant/bread roll serviceGreat for passing through or sightseeingWe booked online quite spontaneously for an overnight stay and it went without a hitch. However, we had to transfer the reservation in advance, which was a bit tight. The place is functional, but the pool is not unimportant, especially in the hot season. The place is too simple for a relaxing vacation, but sufficient for sightseeing.Automatiškai išversta.
- wanda / werner p.August 2015Ideal place for our first leg of the journeyVery friendly welcome from the owner Marco. Clean sanitary facilities, spacious washing cabins, very nice little pool, no restaurant or store available, almost mosquito-free despite being close to the river, entrance to the campsite fairly well hidden from view, ideal for a short stay. We felt very comfortable.Automatiškai išversta.
- Marc S.August 2015TeigiamiLocation on the way south or visiting MilanNeigiamiFor those who expect it, there is no store or restaurantIdeally located for a stopover to the south or sightseeing in Milan/ExpoA small 2-star site with a rustic but friendly feel. Sufficiently large, shady pitches under dense trees. Can only confirm the previous reviews. Striking is the effort in cleanliness. Electricity protection is possible in 3 levels up to 10A. Price level somewhat high at 44 euros for a family of 4. For those passing through, a cheaper option in front of the gate on the large green parking lot.Automatiškai išversta.
- Alexander M.July 2015Teigiami+ good connection to the highway + beautiful new pool + friendly operatorNeigiami- no catering / no restaurant - only cold rinse water - rather weak power supplyGood campsite for a stopoverWe booked the campsite for one night as a stopover on the way to Tuscany. Booking at short notice by email was no problem. The price is cheap and reasonable. The site is located in a suburb of Pavia and close to the highway (approx. 5 km), which is perfect for a stopover. The operator is very friendly... and helpful. At first we were shocked by the state of the front sanitary facilities (containers). But then we discovered the toilet and shower blocks at the back of the campsite. They are functional and clean. Unfortunately, there was only cold water at the sinks. But that was ok for us for one night. The pitches are located under large trees and are therefore nicely shaded. The ground is partly gravel and partly grass. It was easy to park the caravan. The operator also offered his help here. The fuse protection for the power supply can be described as "weak". According to the operator, the fuse can handle 900W, which we immediately noticed when we switched on the hairdryer. There is a newly designed pool with sun loungers on the site. We didn't discover any other leisure facilities on the site, but we didn't miss them either. The city center of Pavia can be reached along the river Ticino (approx. 2-3 km). The bus stop is located directly on the road in front of the campsite. There are bathing facilities on the river, but these are mainly used by locals. We would use the campsite again for a stopover.Automatiškai išversta.
- Stephan S.June 2015TeigiamiFamiliar environment, WLAN, good connection to Milan, super friendly and helpful.NeigiamiMosquitoes - as unfortunately almost everywhere. We would love to come back! The booking was problem-free (the one in Milan didn't work at all - that's why we went here). Marco is happy to help and is always friendly. The small swimming pool is good for cooling off, the sanitary facilities are adequate and clean. The site offers plenty of large and shady pitches. We used P&R to Milan - easy and not expensive. This site is really recommended for a visit to Milan!Automatiškai išversta.
- Günter V.June 2015TeigiamiQuiet location and good connection to MilanNeigiamiLots of mosquitoes in the eveningQuiet place near MilanQuiet place on the outskirts of Pavia. Good bus and train connections to Milan. Sanitary facilities are no longer the most modern but are clean. There is a small swimming pool on site. The river Ticino flows near the site. You can hike or cycle into town in the floodplains. In the evening, however, there are many mosquitoes in the floodplains.Automatiškai išversta.
- Klaus L.May 2015TeigiamiProximity to the highway and city centerSimple but cozy placeCP on the outskirts of Pavia. Easily accessible via the arterial road to the highway. The entrance gate is closed between 1 and 3 pm. However, there is plenty of space to park in front of the entrance. You are welcomed by the friendly operator, who also gives advice on the best place to park. The sanitary... facilities are simple but functional. In May the capacity was sufficient, in the season it could be a bit tight. The facilities are clean and are cleaned daily. There is a small pool, but it was not yet in use. The town is about 3 km away. It is easy to get there by car and there are plenty of parking spaces. It is definitely worth a visit.Automatiškai išversta.
- K. G.June 2014We were not there for the last timeWe stayed at Camping Ticino for two nights in June and were pleasantly surprised. The site is easy to find and beautifully laid out. The owner Marco is super nice and is happy to give you tips on how best to position yourself so that you're not standing in the blazing sun all day (this was very helpful).... Our children (3 and 6) loved the playground and were actually there all the time. The pool (and the paddling pool) is fairly new and well maintained, with sand and sun loungers around it. For us, only the back sanitary facilities were open and these were always very clean. Unfortunately, there is no catering on the site, but as already mentioned, everything can be found in the immediate vicinity. And Pavia is definitely worth a visit. Really nice for a transit campsite.Automatiškai išversta.
