Hiking trails and Waalwege are almost directly accessible from the campsite. You can leave your car parked, as Merano can be reached by bus or on foot.NeigiamiNoneWonderful campsite in AlgundThe campsite is in a wonderful location and the hiking trails are close by, as are the shops, bakery, dairy and restaurants.
We can highly recommend the Algund alpine dairy (hay milk, butter, yogurt, mountain cheese and much more).
The campsite offers numerous sanitary facilities that deserve more than... 5 stars for cleanliness.
The Wolf family is very friendly and helpful with valuable tips.

Een gemoedelijke overzichtelijke camping met goede plekken met sanitaire voorzieningen. Op camping zelf geen voorzieningen, maar alles op loopafstand in dorp inclusief toegang tot fijn zwembad aan "de overkant". Wat mij betreft een echte aanrader deze .NeigiamiAs ik een minpunt zou moeten opnoemen dan is dat het bereik van de wifi. Bij receptie goed, elders slecht.Absolute aanraderCamping was gedurende deze week bijna volledig bezet. Het was rustig en gezellig. easy to cycle in both directions. Getting to Merano itself is also no problem at all. The start of the various Waalwege is easy to reach on foot or by local bus.
The pitches are... large enough, with fresh water, waste water and electricity on site.
The view speaks for itself.
This was our 4th time on this site and unfortunately I have to mention a shortcoming. Over the years
the sanitary building has deteriorated considerably.

The sanitary facilities were always clean and were the most functional we encountered on this vacation. Algund center within walking distance as well as the bus connections to the surrounding area.NeigiamiNo seat selection 20 € reservation fee. Everyone has to pay for electricity. Guest card in cheap version Inhospitable receptionist WLAN badUnrivaled place in this location, unfortunately under strict management.The title says it all. The location on the edge of Algund and thus the proximity to Meran is simply unrivaled. Unfortunately, the friendliness of the lady at reception tarnishes the beautiful picture immensely. You feel more like a petitioner than a guest. No room for maneuver when choosing a seat in... the previously reserved area, strictly managed according to maximum occupancy/provision. The most common guest card offered in Algund is the Algund GuestCard (free bus rides), at the campsite you get the slimmed-down version, bus rides have to be paid for. Electricity must be paid for by everyone, even if you don't need it. In case of early departure, the full amount is due. The reception is aware of the location and the unique position and this is often suggested to you subliminally. We know to avoid this in future! - Susanne K.August 2019Teigiami-perfect location for excursions -cleanliness of the sanitary facilities -friendliness - beautifully laid outNeigiami-no seriousA wonderful vacation in a great locationWe (2 adults, 1 child of 6 years) were at this campsite for the first time this year in August. We only requested two pitches two weeks in advance and fortunately got them reserved (fee per pitch €20). Even with this short notice, the owners made it possible for us to get the pitches next to each other,... even though our "fellow travelers" didn't arrive until a day later. We made it to the pitch just before midday and were given a very warm welcome. We had a 3x4 m tent, which fitted perfectly on the pitch with our car and "kitchen tent". The sanitary facilities are in very good condition and are cleaned very regularly and thoroughly. The owner also makes regular rounds of the site and is always happy to answer questions or just have a quick chat. In addition to electricity and water on the pitch, the price of your stay also includes the Algund Card, which offers a number of discounts and free entry to the nearby outdoor pool. (ideal for hot or "quiet" days). Bread rolls and pastries are available every morning opposite the outdoor pool, which can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes. The supermarket in Algund also offers everything you need for your meals. Algund is the perfect starting point for numerous excursions and hikes. There are also regular buses in all directions, so you can leave the car at home. Our junior was also delighted. There were a few families on the campsite at the time and he quickly made friends with them. You can also leave the kids to run around on their own on the site. Other services on the site include the sale of homemade wine and eggs and a barbecue evening, although we didn't make use of these Unfortunately, we were only able to stay for one week this year, but are definitely planning two weeks next year.Automatiškai išversta.

I thought most of the pitches were nicely located, but I wouldn't have wanted to be right next to the stadium. We were lucky and were accommodated directly behind the reception. You can possibly control that when you book. The team was very nice... and also coped with our early arrival (1 day). The swimming pool is right next door and really great (for all ages). It is also free to use with the guest card! A nice mini golf course is also just around the corner. The Adige Valley cycle path runs almost directly past the campsite. And the last stretch to the campsite is amazing. A descent on a cycle path with real hairpin bends. That was the crowning glory of our cycling trip. Algund offers everything your heart desires, local products from the alpine dairy, wine and other delicacies from local production. On Fridays there was a sale of organic fruit and vegetables right next to the alpine dairy. All easy to do by bike. And a very decent wine from the region is also sold at the campsite.Automatiškai išversta.

So I can only report on this area and not on the pitches behind the sports hall or further up in the vineyard. We liked our pitch, the sanitary facilities are big enough and clean.
