- Mafalda D.September 2024TeigiamiNice location, good bus connection to Heidelberg, good gastronomy in the village.NeigiamiNo WLAN, not even for shopping! No place to have a drink, eat something small or buy something. 1 drinking water point on the whole long pitch at the very front. Aging sanitary facilities, always reasonably clean, but toilets often without paper. Cramped pitches. Power columns far apart, so that a very long power line is required. No carpeting allowed in front of the motorhome/caravan, not even light and air permeable, although in some places on the pitches there is only earth and stones and it is unpleasant to sit in the dust. The pitch is contaminated with ENTENKOT !!! ContaminatedCampsite with rudimentary facilitiesA place that I cannot recommend despite its beautiful location.
It has nothing that a campsite needs to feel comfortable, especially if you stay longer than 1-2 nights.
No catering, however small, nothing to buy (e.g. chocolate, cookies, potato chips etc.) No WLAN to buy. Since I also like to read my... digital newspaper on vacation and am dependent on books, audio books because of bad eyesight, I was lost on this place. I had nothing to read the whole time, because even if you can download the book/audiobook at the reception, it is gone again at the motorhome and cannot be opened there. Sitting on the steps of the reception and reading, as the operator said, is an imposition and completely out of date. The pitches are very cramped and you are literally squatting on your neighbors' "skins" and overhear their every conversation. Campers who previously stayed with the old operator report that this was only changed to their disadvantage by the new operator. The power supply on the pitch is INSTABLE! We were a group and for at least 2 days there was no electricity for some of us, even though we were connected to the same power pole. With the cold temperature, this was a problem for those who could only heat with electricity. Later there was another power cut, but only for a few hours at a time. The biggest annoyance for everyone was the really "shitty" pitch.
ENTENKOT everywhere. You could only walk with your eyes fixed downwards and still stepped in duck poop several times, great when you only notice and smell it in the motorhome.
The shovel provided by the operator to collect it. Is an imposition!
All in all, this simply equipped place (outdated sanitary facilities, only one drinking water supply) is OVEREXPENSIVE !!!!Automatiškai išversta. - Volker B.August 2024TeigiamiLocationNeigiamiVery unfriendly operator.Unbelievably unfriendly! We had booked a riverside pitch and had just set everything up when the operator told us in a very unfriendly manner that no carpets were allowed in front of the caravan.
We pointed out to him that our carpet was permeable to light and air and therefore gentle on the grass. Unfortunately, the "lawn"... in front of the caravan was already completely broken anyway, so without the carpet we would have been sitting on dusty earth and would have gotten a lot of dirt in the caravan. It was also impossible to move the caravan because the pitch was very narrow and the large communal power connection was in the middle of our pitch. The owner then said that he couldn't allow us to do this and that he couldn't allow others to do so.
After we pointed out to the owner that this was more than inconvenient on this pitch, he gesticulated wildly and said that we could leave the carpet, drove off in a rage and shouted after us angrily: "Thank you, thank you, thank you!".
I have never experienced such unfriendly behavior.
We were incredibly disappointed and decided to leave again. The operator then charged us the full daily rate of €46 for staying on the pitch for 60 minutes.
Everyone should form their own opinion as to whether they want to camp on a site like this.Automatiškai išversta. - klaus w.July 2024TeigiamiThe location is very pleasant, the place appealing. Nice operators who have just started, we would certainly visit the place again after the training period and see what has become of it.NeigiamiI would not rate the price/performance as favorableStill leaves room for improvementPlaces on the shore cost extra, which is actually OK, what is not nice was the fact that after a day trip we were busy collecting goose poop from our place for a good 30 minutes.
Really UNFORGETTABLE that the place was shitty,
I really should have taken a photo!
The problem is well known, at the power... distributor is already shovel and rake ready. Very unpleasant!!!
I think you could inform the customers.
The showers are clean, but really small and the amount of water should be a bit more.
Changing or undressing is to be done in the anteroom, nothing can be put down in the shower cubicle.
For 2 nights, 2 pers with electricity 91 euros just too much for what is offered.
Within walking distance is a good bakery, where bread service is available on site
there is still a lot that could be better, but the price must not be too low.Automatiškai išversta. - Werner W.May 2024TeigiamiWonderful location directly on the Neckar. Starting point for interesting activities, be it hiking, cycling or visiting the surrounding area such as Heidelberg, Mosbach, etc.. The new tenants and employees are very nice and helpful. Every guest is accompanied to their pitch by the staff. One of the two... social rooms is getting on in years but is clean and has everything you need. In the small kiosk there is a very good home-brewed beer that people like to drink. We had a pitch right on the water with a wonderful view of the Neckar.Automatiškai išversta.
- Agnes u. Burkhard W.June 2023TeigiamiNO awning carpets allowed !!!!!!!!! Super, -and therefore a model site. It works after all!NeigiamiOnly one water tap on the huge, narrow and long site. That's a real imposition for the seats at the back.An ideal place for visiting Heidelberg and the surrounding area and for canoeingWhat we really liked: the laying out of awning carpets is expressly forbidden!
Wonderful !!!
It's the only way to create an unbroken lawn that pleases the eyes and the heart. In addition, erosion is largely avoided as this is a flooded area. Puddles are also the exception here.Automatiškai išversta. - Kerstin G.June 2023TeigiamiThe location is very nice. Well-kept lawn on the shore area. Very friendly operators. Neckargemünd town center is within walking distance. Shopping facilities nearby. Heidelberg can be reached quickly by bus, bike or boat.NeigiamiSmall pitches, so the caravans/motorhomes are sometimes very close together. The sanitary facilities, especially the shower/washing area, are getting on in years and are no longer up to date. Toilet paper and soap were constantly empty in the toilets. Many steps up to the sanitary facilities and washing-up area.Beautifully situated campsiteBeautiful campsite directly on the Neckar. Ideal starting point for a city tour to Heidelberg.Automatiškai išversta.
- Reinhard K.April 2023TeigiamiFriendly reception, good transport connections, nice location, clean wash house. Nearby shopping facilitiesNeigiamiYou are told how to stand, no water on the pitch, long way to the water point. Many stairs to the wash house due to flood protection, not barrier-free. Cash payment only.Idyllic square on the NeckarOverall, we really liked it here. Well suited as a starting point for cycling tours.Automatiškai išversta.
- Heiko W.May 2022TeigiamiLocated directly on the Neckar, beautifully manicured lawn, clean sanitary facilities, very friendly staffNeigiamiWe did not notice anything negativeFantastic campsite on the banks of the NeckarFantastic campsite on the banks of the Neckar. The infrastructure with bus and train is good. The outdoor area and sanitary facilities are clean and very well maintained. Straightforward booking and super-friendly staff. You simply feel that you are in good hands at this campsite with "Jan" and his team.
The adjoining kiosk "flatsebatser" with restaurant and bread roll service is also spotless. Friendly staff and excellent food.Automatiškai išversta. - Mikael v.August 2020TeigiamiFriendly and helpful team, with a lot of heart and understanding, is very family-friendly and multilingual, always trying to make the stay pleasant. All technical facilities were in good working order during our four-day stay. The site is cleaned several times a day and is well maintained. Right at the entrance there is a kiosk with still acceptable prices and a restaurant, which offers a different menu of the day almost every day. The Neckar invites you to cool off and the trees offer plenty of shade. On the opposite bank, various wild animals can be seen in the morning and evening.NeigiamiNONE to hardly any, well, the city could reduce the speed on the through and access roads and prohibit loud machines before 8am and after 8pm ;-) There are small-minded "permanent complainers" everywhere, as can be seen from the reviews (mostly tenants of mobile homes who think they have leased the whole place - "showing off and grumbling") Prices are currently somewhat higher due to the high costsWell-kept & friendlyWe would like to thank you
for the friendly welcome, right from the reception, as well as for the flexible and uncomplicated possibility of extending our stay.
And your hospitality and helpfulness.
Anyone who writes or claims otherwise should take a moment to reflect and consider "as you call into the... forest, so it echoes back".
A clear recommendation from us, even though the standard prices are nonsense -> (large) motorhomes compact the ground more than a caravan or even a tent ;-) !
A graduation into five categories, e.g.
small tent / large tent / small caravan / large caravan / mobile home can be recommended ;-)Automatiškai išversta. - Wilfried V.September 2019TeigiamiBeautifully situated on the Neckar, very good for sightseeing to Heidelberg. Perfect for 2-3 days. We really liked it there.NeigiamiSanitary facilities need some getting used to but are still ok. WLan only for a fee. Sporty pitch prices.Beautiful transit site in a great locationA perfect place for a short stay, beautifully situated directly on the Necker. The boss and his son give friendly but firm instructions on exactly where to park the camper van. There is still discipline and order. But no problem. A quick bus and boat ride to Heidelberg. It's about 10 km by bike.Automatiškai išversta.
- Kerstin K.August 2019TeigiamiLocated directly on the Neckar!Nice and well-kept place! We stayed at the campsite for 2 nights. We made a stopover here. All the people were very nice and the sanitary facilities were older but well maintained. You can get to Heidelberg regularly by bus, train or boat. You get all the information you need on arrival. If we are ever passing through again, we will gladly come back here!Automatiškai išversta.
- Christian C.July 2019TeigiamiWaterfront location and viewNeigiamiDuck droppings on the waterNice solid campsiteThe campsite is located directly on the Neckar with a beautiful view of the wooded opposite slope. Heidelberg can be reached quickly by bus or boat. The duck droppings on the pitches are annoying, especially by the water.Automatiškai išversta.
- Roland L.April 2019TeigiamiCentral locationNeigiamiBe careful with small children - because of the banks of the NeckarShort stay over EasterCentrally located campsite with good public transport connections to Heidelberg. The campsite was fully booked. We received a friendly welcome even though we hadn't made a reservation. The pitch was sufficient for our rather large caravan and there is also enough space to the neighbors and there was no noise disturbance. We were given good tips for excursions at reception. Price per night incl. electricity € 29.00Automatiškai išversta.
- Katharina G.April 2019Teigiami- beautiful location - beautiful pitches - canoe rentalNeigiami- Poor sanitary facilities - Traffic noise - "Kiosk" only for chips and beer/wine needsToo expensive, but ok for a short stayThe campsite is located directly on the Neckar and is very well situated. Whether by bike, bus, boat or car - you are quickly in Heidelberg and can also easily reach other surrounding towns. Cycling or hiking tours can be easily started from here. Heidelberg is about 10km away. The pitches are very nice,... large and well covered with grass. However, it is not very quiet due to the nearby road. The sanitary facilities have seen better days and are unfortunately not kept very clean. In our opinion, the kiosk does not deserve its name. You shouldn't expect to be able to make do with what's on offer. Bread roll service available, unfortunately it didn't work for us with the orders. In our opinion, ok for a short stay, but the price is not justified.Automatiškai išversta.
- Ralf S.August 2018TeigiamiLocation on the Neckar, connection to HeidelbergNeigiamiNoise from street and sewage system, condition of sanitary facilities, lack of soap in WC (and that at quite a high price)OK for a city tripStayed at the CP for 2 days. The welcome was brief but friendly. Location of the place is already good, the noise of the main road and the sanitary building is already considerable. (Sanitary and sewage treatment of the place in one building). The sanitary facilities in the middle of the site are very... special and are reminiscent of a group shower from the 70s. No soap in the toilet. Seems too expensive -;( Overall, you can use the place for a transit, for a vacation difficult to imagine.Automatiškai išversta.
- Beate D.May 2018TeigiamiVery nice location as a starting point for sightseeing tours.NeigiamiPartly unfriendly staff, in bad weather you stand in the mud, the distances to fetch water are very long, depending on the pitch. Not necessarily recommended for a longer vacationVery nice location directly on the Neckar. Sanitary facilities not always clean and very outdated. Sanitary facilities only accessible via stairs. No awning carpets allowed.Automatiškai išversta.
- Martin H.May 2018TeigiamiGreat location! Good local amenities on site and also in Neckargemünd.NeigiamiNoisy because of the road on the opposite bank.Nice but noisy placeWe were there for four nights in mid-May to take a closer look at Heidelberg and the surrounding area. This campsite is simply brilliant for that. Public transport nearby, infrastructure on site ok! The small restaurant (more like a spruced-up snack bar) offers good food if you don't want to cook yourself... and want to grab a bite to eat nearby. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but clean. The pitches are very nice, we were right by the water, so a paradise for our dog. Not much shade! Biggest drawback: the road on the other bank of the Neckar.Automatiškai išversta.
- Gunnar B.April 2018Teigiami- mostly friendly operator - very well-kept placeNeigiami- Wash houses both urgently need to be renovated - Dogs are not allowed outside - Extremely poor snack bar on the pitchGood place with a lot of upside potential! We opened the campsite this year. There were no guests on the site when we arrived. The welcome on arrival was very friendly. Despite the campsite being completely empty, the groundsman allocated us an exact pitch as far away from the water as possible and also told us exactly where to park our caravan... and car. Order is obviously very important here. On the second morning, I wanted to take our dog for a walk around the site and take a look at the entire campsite. As a result, I was told quite aggressively that the dog was not allowed to be walked on the site. The dog is only allowed out of the caravan when we are on the direct route into the car or at the barrier/exit. Otherwise the dog has no business being on the pitch. Okay, that wasn't the smartest thing to say and it really annoyed me, but apparently the groundsman has had bad experiences with dogs. He himself owns at least one dog, which is allowed to roam freely on the campsite. The pitches are relatively uneven, but the lawn is very nice and well-kept. I find it logical and sensible that you are not allowed to use awning carpets. Defective light bulbs or missing toilet paper were replaced immediately and the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and the whole site was very good. However, the sanitary facilities themselves are extremely outdated. There are no covers on the drains, screws are sticking out and pose a higher risk of injury. There are some electrical cables running through the showers, there is no room to undress and there is no baby changing room or family shower. There is a wash house at the entrance to the campsite, but this was completely closed during our stay. (In the meantime, up to 80 pitches were occupied). This left 4 men's and 4 women's toilets and 6+6 showers for over 200 campers. This is already extremely insufficient and there were some waiting times in the toilets. I don't know why the second wash house was not opened. There was no children's playground on the site itself. There is a public playground at the end of the campsite, but it was padlocked by the campsite. A pity really. We also tried the snack bar on the site, but the food was absolutely subterranean. The place had been open for less than 3 days and you could already taste old fat on the chips. The quality of the bratwurst and schnitzel was also very poor and the sauces were also inedible. I would avoid this snack bar. The electricity consumption is billed according to kWh and the billed electricity matched my measurement via a calibrated meter in the caravan. Unfortunately, such correct billing is rare. The road in the immediate vicinity is disturbing at night, but the site can't help that. Another thing that bothered me was the exact alignment of the caravans and motorhomes. Everyone has to be positioned exactly as the operator wants. Despite a completely empty pitch - and the possibility of letting everyone stand freely without being parceled out - you can't choose your pitch and are squeezed in exactly where the groundsman wants. You stand close together and 2/3 of the pitch is simply empty. Due to the pitch regulations, this pitch is really only suitable for a few overnight stays. It is simply too uncomfortable for an extended summer vacation, although this could easily be changed - if you could get away from the compulsory pitches.Automatiškai išversta.
- Klaus V.April 2018TeigiamiCleanliness, friendliness; well suited for a visit to HeidelbergNeigiamiPossible traffic noise from the Friedensbrücke bridgeBeautiful placeFriendly reception, was shown to the pitch, clean sanitary facilities, well-kept pitch; we were in the immediate vicinity of the Friedensbrücke, but the traffic did not bother us; grocery stores within walking distance in about 10 minutes; good public transport connection to Heidelberg; price per night for 2 pers. with electricity 27 €; another stay already planned.Automatiškai išversta.
- Sandra H.April 2018TeigiamiGood bus, train and boat connectionsNeigiamiSanitary facilities, main road, partly muddy pitchesNo privacy, parking space characterWe stayed three nights to visit Heidelberg and Speyer. Bus and boat connections can be reached in 3 minutes. The sanitary facilities are no longer up to date. The washing up is done next to the men's WC. I will spare you the details. As the pitches are on grass it can get very dirty when it rains. It is also not allowed to lay out carpets and foils. As a starting point for a few days it was ok.Automatiškai išversta.
