Super nice family and a beautiful clean lake.
No noise and no mass tourism.
"My absolute favorite place" to recharge your batteries and switch off.
Personality is very important here!!!
Thanks to the Fischer familyAutomatiškai išversta. - Lisa M.May 2024TeigiamiDirectly on the lake, small site, quiet location The ground is meadow, which is ideal for dog ownersNeigiamino bread roll serviceCamping by the lakeThe small campsite is located directly on the lake. There are only a few tourist pitches spread over two areas.
The site is pleasantly quiet and is also a real recommendation for dog owners.
The sanitary facilities are a bit dated, but clean.
A great place for a short stayAutomatiškai išversta. - Frank und Gaby L.June 2023TeigiamiI didn't really like anything, but the location on the lake was really great and beautiful.NeigiamiSanitary facilities, friendliness. Not possible !!!We were passing through, so for one night. Reception went like this, then we wanted to leave the car at the site for one night because the roof box couldn't be locked and there was a small freezer in the trunk, which was fine at first, but not after about 5 hours. We then had to pay for a complete pitch... for the car. So we had to unload everything even though there was enough space. The gentleman was also very unfriendly. When we wanted to shower and opened the door, we postponed the shower to a day later. Didn't work at all. Sorry but disgusting. The place was also planned for the way back, but was moved to another place. Best decision. All in all, NOT recommended.Automatiškai išversta.
- Jens J.July 2021TeigiamiLocation, cleanliness of the facility, small lake, tranquilityNeigiamiNo supply on siteA little insider tipFacility for permanent campers with 2 small separate areas for approx. 10 tourists. No pitches. Electricity easily accessible.
Sanitary building very clean and well maintained, can be opened with a chip (50€ deposit).
Very quiet site, small bathing area available.
About 20 minutes by bike to Speyer city center. Supermarket about 10 minutes by bike.
Very friendly hosts.Automatiškai išversta. - Simon und Heike H.September 2019Teigiami1. peace and quiet...peace and quiet again 2. close to the town 3. small visitor campsite (max. 5) can also be niceNeigiamiNo supply (shop/restaurant) on site Take a cable reel or long power cable with youCamping site would be the appropriate nameIt is more likely to be a place for campsite visitors. The Steinhäuserwühlsee is in the hands of permanent campers and for the small but very quiet CP there is a rather small access to the lake. The wash house is getting on in years, but was always cleaned. The shower curtains could be renewed mac, as... they already have some mold or mildew stains or similar. There is a key for the wash house, which has a 50€ deposit. There is no shop or restaurant. Bread rolls -are really tasty- but can be pre-ordered and picked up from the operator in the morning. The operators - the Fischer family - are nice and courteous! There is only electricity on the pitch and as this must be accessible to everyone in the middle, you should definitely have a relatively long cable, preferably a cable drum, with you. Due to the horses, we also had an increased number of flies when eating outside...but you have to expect that ;-) If you don't attach much importance to comfort, but value peace and quiet and proximity to the city, this is the place for you. We liked it here for 3 nights because we were looking for peace and quiet and wanted to go to the farmers' market in Speyer!Automatiškai išversta.
- Michael B.August 2017TeigiamiIf you like horses, need to be close to Speyer or love purist minimalist overnight stays, this is the right choice.NeigiamiEverything else. This is not a real campsite, more like an overnight meadow at the horse farm. This is not a campsiteSorry, but this is not a campsite, but rather a place to stay overnight in a meadow. No signage, no own homepage. On site, the "reception" consists of a bell. No one responds when you press it. A passer-by explained to us that there were actually only fixed campers (extra area). The meadow was intended... for travelers (no guest present). We were greeted by large free-roaming dogs, not suitable for frightened 8-year-old children. We spontaneously decided to go to another campsite in the area (Bad Dürkheim). We had paid attention to the good rating when choosing this campsite, but not to the fact that there were only 5 ratings. Are they genuine?Automatiškai išversta.Atsakė iš Campingplatz Gut Thomashof August 21, 2017Hello Mr. Benson,
Thank you very much for your review.
Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to welcome you personally. As we are only a small campsite, we are not staffed around the clock.
Many of our campers appreciate: Peace and quiet and no mass camping!
It is a pity that we did not meet your expectations and we hope that you still enjoyed your stay.

The tent meadow is fenced in and equipped with wooden tables and benches. There is a key for the sanitary building. I paid 10 euros for the night. It is 4.5 km by bike to the city center of SpeyerAutomatiškai išversta.

- Alexander S.May 2015TeigiamiClose to Speyer city center and at the same time rural tranquility; very well-kept and clean facility; friendly operator familyNeigiamiMissing drain for waste water tankgood place for visits to SpeyerWe were on the site with a camper van, 2 adults and 2 small children to visit Speyer. This is also very feasible as the sights are only 10-15 minutes away by car. The welcome from the host family was very friendly. The site is characterized by permanent campers, but you hardly notice them, as we stood... as tourists on an extra terrain, in the immediate vicinity of the sanitary building, but without others having to walk through the awning to get there. The sanitary facilities were basic but very clean. You can get the key for a €50 deposit. The only thing that surprised me was the lack of a sink for the rollable waste water tank, as you have to dispose of it in the sink for the on-board toilet, which means lifting the heavy thing up and letting everything slosh around when pouring it out. Otherwise everything is tip top. The pitch is an enclosed meadow, an adapter for a household plug was necessary for the power connection. Electricity was charged at a flat rate. We paid a total of €102 for three nights. Garbage could be deposited at the owners' house. Fresh water is available in the sanitary building and the playground on the lawn next to the sanitary building consists of a slide and swing, which was sufficient for our boys. However, you have to bear in mind that there is access from the playground to a fishing spot on the adjacent lake. It therefore seems necessary to keep an eye on smaller children. The access to the meadow is not trivial, we have uncoupled and mover.great we found the horses in the stables on the farm and the shopping facilities about 2km away. All in all a very pleasant place, we would come back anytime!Automatiškai išversta.
- Rainer B.May 2015TeigiamiRestNeigiamionly bread rolls on siteNice little campsiteSmall transit site approx. 15 pitches on the meadow in front of the horse farm. Permanent camping pitches separate. Sanitary building clean and well maintained. Very quiet location directly on the lake, no shopping facilities on the site, only bread roll service. Very friendly site manager, we will be back!Automatiškai išversta.
- Alois K.May 2013If you don't have any special requirements for the infrastructure (store, restaurant, entertainment) of a campsite and just want to stay overnight, this is the place for you. It is approx. 4.5 km by bike to the center of Speyer. The sanitary facilities are in a good and clean condition. The owner of the campsite was very friendly. We would gladly come back for a short stay.Automatiškai išversta.
