- Elisabeth M.June 2020TeigiamiThe natural integration of the course into the beautiful Walviertel countryside.NeigiamiThe nearby road is audible at night, although the volume of traffic is low anyway.Beautifully situated, natural site with friendly, helpful tenantsWhen we arrived in June 2020, we were immediately given a warm welcome and assigned a beautiful pitch on the edge of the forest. The big plus of the site is the nature with old trees, hedges and meadows. The washing and toilet facilities were clean and well maintained. The operators were very hospitable and helpful with the transportation of our boat around the lake.Automatiškai išversta.
- manuel s.July 2018Teigiamiwonderful locationNeigiamiReception unfriendly and never mannedMixed impressionsWe arrived at the campsite, unfortunately no contact person could be found, despite calling the telephone number given several times, where no one picked up, we have been coming here for many years now, and in the past the reception was always manned, now everything is always closed. The sanitary facilities... used to be clean, now they are not. The sausage stand offered us free drinks, not just us, which we found very strange. After a long search we found the very nice and not unkempt old campsite warden who was mowing on an embankment on the beach, unfortunately he didn't know where to find the receptionist either, so we kept waiting. When the young man finally appeared after four hours he immediately demanded in a very harsh tone that we should fill in the registration forms straight away, it was also very strange that he didn't take off his sunglasses in the very dark office, the lady who had welcomed us earlier was so nice, always available and helpful, no matter what problem we had, I think this choice of staff was rather very bad. In the evening people sit at the sausage stand for a very long time, which disturbs the night's rest, during the day the sausage stand is usually closed, then there is a sign saying that you should dial the phone number, then you will be helped, what kind of business practices are these? Then there are more cars than tents on the tent meadow, everything was different last year, unfortunately everything has deteriorated. We had the same problem again when paying, nobody was there, we waited another 2.5 hours, we are still thinking about whether we will ever come back.Automatiškai išversta.
- Sebastian K.July 2018TeigiamiFishing menu, food on siteNeigiamiAggressive lawnmower man (should quit, you can see he has no desire)First impressionsAll in all, a wonderful week. Slightly confusing is that you can get drinks from the nice receptionist and order your food in a bistro. The staff there are really friendly and the food tastes very good. Apart from an unkempt gentleman on a lawnmower, who seemed highly aggressive to me and obviously has... problems with the receptionist, nothing negative to report. You can also get a fishing license here, provided you have passed an exam ;) Thumbs up to the apparently new team, this makes camping funAutomatiškai išversta.
- Maria H.June 2018TeigiamiDream placeNeigiamiA campground attendant who is only at the sausage stand. Dirty sanitary facilities.very disappointedWe have been coming to this beautiful campsite for years and this time we were very surprised, the toilets were very dirty, no toilet paper, the showers were not clean, which was not the case before, the snack bar was very disappointing, the young man at reception was incompetent and never available,... he wore sunglasses in the dark office and smelled of alcohol, and I would just like to say to the previous speaker that this was the worst castling, the sausage stand was open until half past two in the morning, the night's rest used to be observed here. We will think twice about coming again.Automatiškai išversta.
- Karl G.June 2018TeigiaminaturalnessNeigiamiLack of electricityNew staffThe personnel changes from the previous weekend have done the pitch a world of good. You can feel really comfortable again. In my opinion, the new staff, who also run the sausage stand, are highly motivated.Automatiškai išversta.
- Marianne+ H.June 2018TeigiamiBeautifully maintained placeNeigiamiEverything closed no direct contact personwill no longer comeWe arrived, no contact person, a sausage stand that was closed, nobody could be reached by phone, a nice gentleman who mowed the lawn helped us to get a place, unfortunately the office is never manned, and we couldn't reach the receptionist, we wanted to register and pay straight away, but unfortunately... nobody was there again, I don't understand that the operator approves of this situation, if we hadn't found the very nice gentleman on the lawn tractor, we would have just walked around, he showed us everything. But we didn't set up our tent at all, because when everything was closed and we had no opportunity to eat, although there was a sausage stand, which made a terrible visual impression, we preferred to drive on. We found this place beautiful and very well-kept, if the place was looked after differently, we would like to spend the night there, we were here for several hours, but unfortunately everything was closed.Automatiškai išversta.
- Max W.May 2018Teigiamilocation, landscapeNeigiamidistance to the sanitary facilities - grotty catering facilities - rude staff, beer beer atmosphere impossible for children !!!mixed impressions ...the positive: the place, the location is great, a natural spectacle, beautiful, but that was it with the beauty. we were on a meadow and it was just too far to the sanitary facilities, especially at night it is not so tingling. there are food options but warm zwettler beer (cold chain?) and cold sausage... are not good at all, but the staff had to chat for ages before you were given a look when you were hungry and thirsty. the service staff were unfriendly and condescending, I don't have to put up with that in my free time and pay for it! we won't be back, that's no way to treat guests ...Automatiškai išversta.
- Elisabeth R.May 2018TeigiamiClean Friendly Quiet Surroundings Snack and drinks Water access CourtesyClean and friendlyMy boyfriend and I spent 2 days / 1 night here. In our opinion, there is nothing negative to report. The campsite was clean and beautiful, clean toilets and sanitary facilities available, snack trolleys and tables for ordering drinks (coffee was very tasty) were also available, plenty of parking spaces,... friendly permanent campers... and our tent stood firm and straight under the beautiful trees. Perfect. Originally we wanted to go to the other campsite, but barbecuing was forbidden there (although we were told on the phone that barbecuing was allowed). Before we drove home - camping without a barbecue is not an option for us - we wanted to take a look at the other sites. The reception at the Lichtenfels campsite was exceptionally friendly, I have rarely met such a relaxed campsite manager. The surrounding area is fantastic, there are lots of hiking and walking routes, and Zwettl is only a 10-minute drive away for shopping. The price was also fair, much cheaper than elsewhere in Austria (2 people, 1 tent, 1 parking space € 19.60). We will definitely be back!Automatiškai išversta.
- Viktoria O.May 2018TeigiamiDogs allowed Infrastructure quickly accessible by car Very quiet and pleasantNeigiamiMuch too expensive Groundsman unfriendly No possibility to buy food on site.Needs getting used toThe reception from the groundsman was unfriendly. We were not recommended any places of interest in the vicinity. It was also not pointed out that there were poisoned baits in boxes everywhere in the hut. The baker honked his horn but drove off again straight away. The overnight price was far too expensive. On the whole it was ok. 2.5 stars!!!Automatiškai išversta.
- Karin M.August 2017Teigiaminice people, nice place, very clean, great beach at Spitz (insider tip)Neigiamithe owner came by on the tent meadow, was very arrogant towards the guests. i would have just introduced myself (good manners)...a wonderful excursionI was there for the first time with two boys aged 11, campsite (meadow) very nicely situated under fruit trees, free barbecue, we jogged to the boat rental every day (about 4 km), beautiful path, you can also swim there, we enjoyed it, also the peace and quiet, which is just gone when the first youth group comes, but that's understandable and I always have earplugs with me anyway.Automatiškai išversta.
- David A.July 2017TeigiamiLocation, nature, cleanlinessFantastically beautiful landscape, neatThe location and landscape are beautiful, the campsite itself is tidy, clean and well organized. Been there twice for three days so far.Automatiškai išversta.
- Friedrich A.July 2017TeigiamiWonderful landscape, great location as a peninsulaNeigiamiNot really noticed anyBeautiful camping site on a peninsulaWe have already been there twice and will be back again. The romantic, unspoilt Waldviertel landscape and nearby Zwettl, the capital of the Waldviertel, offer plenty of opportunities and variety. The campsite itself is well organized, with the right mix of order and laissez-faire.Automatiškai išversta.
- michi w.August 2016Teigiamithe location ...forest - water - peace and quiet... TOPNeigiamionly wimps find disadvantages ...very relaxing ...we've been there three times now and we like it very much. the surroundings are amazing and the lake is beautiful and not overcrowded. i didn't notice any noise at night but if you take it upon yourself to sleep in a tent you have to expect that there are some young people there who want to have fun... ... the people on the site are very nice and i didn't get the impression of a grumpy site crew ... but here it is probably true: as you call into the forest, so it sounds out. ... some reviews give me the impression that people only want to camp pro forma back to the roots but in reality everything is supposed to be first class and of course cost nothing... go there and see for yourself, everyone has different priorities ... greetings michi & leoAutomatiškai išversta.
- Rudolf H.August 2016TeigiamiVery large camping meadow, natural Children's playground, beach volleyball court, table tennis table Very friendly staff Clean sanitary facilitiesNeigiamiThere is NO!!!!!Europe's most beautiful nature campsiteI can't agree at all with the reviews of the previous guests! For me and my 80 friends, aged from 5 months to 80 years, it is one of the most beautiful nature campsites in Austria! I personally have been going to this campsite for 40 years now and I have been to many campsites! I was here again for a... week and there wasn't a single wasp! The tent meadow is a bit sloping, but not badly! If you are a camper, then you know how to pitch your tent properly! The campsite is particularly suitable for children and young people, but also for sporty seniors! The groundsmen are extremely friendly and helpful, no matter what you need! Gerda always has an open ear for a coffee! And Andi makes sure that the course is always in order! For guests looking for peace and quiet, I can recommend the Seecamping campsite on the opposite side of Lichtenfels, where you can find peace and quiet in the truest sense of the word! I visited the site with a friend and we were totally surprised at how quiet it was! We thought the campsite was closed! As we walked around the whole site, 2 people complained to us, asking if we didn't know that it was lunchtime and that we should keep our voices down! And from 21.00h is night rest! We're staying here at the Lichtenfels campsite and I'm sure many more generations of us will too! We are all of one mind, we have experienced many managers! Mrs. Brenner, Schweitzer and Groyer, but none of the predecessors were as good as Gerda and Andi! We are already looking forward to next year and please leave everything as it is! Great nature!Automatiškai išversta.
- Alex M.July 2016Teigiaminice area and own places for groups, nice waterfront for swimming.NeigiamiNo powersupply at the camping area place, but i do not see this as a disadvantage as I do not like to have that.Great for groupsI used to visit the site for several times already with a big group. Mixed Children with their fathers :-) We enjoyed the place a lot every time. especially the fact to rent a meadow yard with a own fireplace. We will keep going there for sure.
- birgit z.July 2016Teigiami+direct access to the lake +totally dog-friendly +naturalWe are thrilled!we can in NO WAY agree with the previous criticism! we are really glad that we didn't trust it - we wanted to see this beautiful campsite for ourselves! the campsite is really far from crooked! our tent was pitched within minutes and as you are on a natural campsite, it's clear that you don't need to... set up a spirit level! we had no problems pitching our tent (although it was the very first time in our lives that we had done this-well-maybe we're just nature lovers :-) ...nor did we slip out of the tent "downhill" during the night! the previously described plague of catfish cannot be blamed on the fruit trees...rather on the fact that in august there are wasps everywhere! ...this weekend there wasn't a single wasp to be seen far and wide despite the plum trees (which incidentally provide wonderful shade!)! i was a bit afraid of the campsite warden because of the criticism...but even there the opposite proved to be true!.... both are totally nice ... except when they have to explain the rules of the campsite to a group of young people who are too loud at 0:30... so the last criticism of my predecessors is out of the way...because apart from the fact that you could say "please keep it down a bit" yourself, there is also someone there at night to keep things tidy if necessary! all in all, we are really glad that we have found such a pleasant, above all natural but also dog-friendly site with wonderful bathing opportunities, which we will definitely visit more often from now on! ps: we have already left our camping utensils in the car, because we want to go there again on friday for a whole week! :-)Automatiškai išversta.

- Mathias R.August 2015TeigiamiDirect access to the lake, inexpensive, no parcelingNeigiamiPlace is crooked, fruit trees and therefore countless wasps, unfriendly, hot water costs extra (dish area and shower)Area and reservoir beautiful, campsite really badWe actually wanted to stay at the campsite for a whole week with our two children (aged 3 and 7). Unfortunately it didn't work out. The campsite is sloping. In two respects: 1. it is sloping - tent pitching is only half possible. 2. the campsite consists of an orchard. Fully ripe plums and apples lay... in the grass, which resulted in an unmanageable number of wasps. You could only eat in the tent behind a mosquito net - cooking was only possible with great effort and constant fidgeting. When we approached the groundskeeper, we were told: "I won't pick up the fruit and I won't cut down the trees because of you either." Unfortunately, there is also no site supervision at night. Which is why some young people partied until 4:00 am three nights in a row. As a teenager I would understand this, but not as a father of two small children - 2-3 hours of sleep per night. The only positive thing (but has little to do with the campsite): The reservoir is fantastic, unbeatable in terms of water quality and swimming experience. Nevertheless, we left after 3 days... Unfortunately...it was too dangerous for us with the children because of the wasps... Also positive: there are barbecue areas, garbage is separated, the groundsman is grumpy but takes care of the garbage cans and the cleanliness of the site.......Automatiškai išversta.
- liselotte s.July 2015Teigiamibeautiful areaNeigiamiunfriendly extremely sloping tent meadow only one sanitary facility for the whole site incorrect rental information for boatsToo bad about the visitI was there with my family last week. The so-called tent meadow is so crooked that it is not possible to pitch a tent properly. Canoe rental was quoted at €29 per day on the Internet, but the price "increased" to €50 at the campsite - there was no invoice for this. In return, you are allowed to tow the... - not so light - canoes to the water and back yourself (a good 200 m, steep gravel, overgrown with roots, a miserable slog), the groundsman commented: "if you want the boats in the water, you can go somewhere else, hehehe". Only one sanitary building for the entire site. Extremely unfriendly groundsman. Site administration not manned from 12:00 to 15:00 - no one was available on the telephone number given. When we then looked for a pitch on the half-empty site, we were immediately threatened with being thrown out in the afternoon. We had paid for 3 days but were happy to leave after 2 days. We will certainly not be back. Too bad, the area is really beautiful. lisiAutomatiškai išversta.
