Room very loveless / monotonous without color -> here you get rather depressed. It was simply put in what was left (old table tennis table, old table football tableThe homepage promises moreOverall, I have to agree with many of the previous speakers' comments. Overall, it seems a bit unstructured (everywhere is patched up and saddled). It starts with the playground for the little ones, which is sufficient and intact but looks very loveless, as some of the play equipment is colorful and... straightforward (like playgrounds used to be) and some is made with natural play equipment (like an adventure playground - wood as it grew). Also, in my opinion, it is not shielded enough from the campsite road / driveway where all campers have to pass.
The youth room, which has two old pieces of play equipment (half-broken table tennis table, table football for a fee), is a complete disaster. It is also painted very dark and is used in winter (now spring) as a storage room (e.g. for plants).
The temperature in the swimming pool:
YES it is rather cold (& NO dear campsite this has not only been the case since the Ukraine conflict. I have acquaintances who were here before Corona .... were with you and it was like that then too). Despite everything, I have to stand by the campsite here who expects thermal bath water should rather go to a place without a bath and look for the nearest thermal bath & who has small children with him should pay attention to a children's pool on the site. In my opinion, the pool is completely ok both in size and temperature. The water has indoor pool temperature and is also completely ok in size.
My conclusion: If the campsite now invests in the children's and youth facilities and does not neglect the other things (functional camping butlers), it will also do justice to its homepage (which is much more attractive) and the rather high price level.Automatiškai išversta.Atsakė iš Dreiländer-Camping Gugel July 9, 2024Dear Mrs. W., thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you liked our well-kept sanitary facilities, the newly created miniature golf course (now also playable in the dark), the swimming pool, our pool area has an indoor temperature of 29 degrees - water temperature 27 degrees (more in winter)... - a compromise - one person finds the water too warm, the next too cold. You can't always do everything at once. We now have 4 comfortable rental mobile homes, rustic camping barrels for "adventure vacations", 1 ultra-modern sanitary building, a "winter garden" with Mediterranean flair, etc. In other words, we are constantly working to beautify and improve the site. The "Jugendstube" is also planned for further embellishment. Unfortunately, we can't do everything at once, but we are happy to take your suggestions on board and look forward to welcoming you back another time. You always pay a flat rate... at the check-in machine. As we are a family-friendly campsite, there is already a considerable price advantage for the guest if the early bird pitch is occupied by just 3 people. We left directly one day later. The swimming pool water is so cold that the children couldn't stay in the water for 5 minutes. An imposition. That's why we were the only ones there.
The paths and the pitch were a big lump of mud. But that's... not a reason for me to leave.
The countless neglected permanent campsites look much worse. In some cases, nothing has been done for years.
In general, the location (industrial area) is not very nice. You can clearly hear the highway.
There was virtually nothing on offer for our children.
I would only recommend the place for transit. But even for this it is too expensive.
The reception is very friendly and we only had to pay for one night. I suspect that people are used to it there by now.

Unfortunately, tiles break again and again over the course of... the year due to heavy use. For this reason, the swimming pool is completely closed in January, the pool emptied and everything repaired. This is only possible when the pool is empty and not during operation. We ask for your understanding. We are currently building a new sanitary building, a "camping butler" offers the possibility of disposing of cassettes without "mess", and the restaurant has been given a beautiful winter garden. In fact, many permanent guests vacate their pitches at the end of the year, so that they don't look nice for a while. But by spring they will be tidied up again. Unfortunately, it is unavoidable that the ground is damp and muddy when it rains and snows. Our campsite was very busy with many vacation guests during the winter and we received a lot of positive feedback. Many campers do not heat with electricity, but with gas. The flat rate is sufficient for "normal" electricity consumption. Very few guests consume more than the flat rate. We are building a new sanitary building this winter, the restaurant has a new conservatory and guests have a "camping butler" for convenient cassette disposal. The reception and entrance area are really nice, but after just a few meters across the site you notice that there are no paved roads/paths but gravel. You can actually live with that, but after two hours on the site our car looked as if we hadn't washed it for... 12 weeks. Everything else also quickly got a sandy coating.
The toilet block at the entrance is newly renovated and actually looks good, and in my opinion it was also clean. However, the showers are a disaster ... go out every 8-10 seconds and everything you take into the cubicle is also flushed through. Here you should save on other ways, not so that it annoys you to death.
The restaurant is great, we ate here several times and it always tasted good.
The swimming pool is also great, the water is cold but everything is clean and satisfactory.
The pitches are not really big, when I book an XL comfort pitch somewhere I actually expect a few centimeters more. If I then have to share it with a tree and a lantern, it just gets tight.

The swimming pool has a water temperature of 27 degrees around Easter - the room temperature is 30 degrees. When it's warmer we get problems again - because it's too warm like a bathtub....:-). Our pitches are mostly between 100 - 110 square meters in size and... therefore larger than on many other campsites. We are pleased that you enjoyed our sports facilities and the restaurant so much. On a positive note, I can mention the indoor pool, the pizzaria and the great location of the campsite. The expected "comfort pitch" turned out to be a disaster (like almost all pitches described as such without exception and confirmed in discussions with all the neighbors). It is not enough to offer water, waste water and satellite reception if the condition of the... pitches is subterranean. Even the access road to the pitches is not paved but a sandy road with many potholes. Half of the pitches themselves also consist of crumbling sandy areas, the rest of weedy "grass". This may be bearable when it is sunny and dry, but when it rains it is an imposition as everything is filthy, caravans outside and inside, carpet, furniture and access. There is an urgent need for action here.
We also noticed negatively that the water flow only runs for a few seconds when showering and especially when flushing, you have to keep pushing - that's saving money in the wrong place.

We are also happy to take up your suggestions constructively. In our new sanitary building, which will be ready by spring 2023, there will be "normal" shower fittings that can also be adjusted for longer. Unfortunately, the picture on site is completely different. The site does not correspond in the slightest to what you would expect.
The pitches are very unkempt and very, very cramped. It would not have been possible to pitch an awning... or to stand next to the neighbor or to have no more space for the car. The grass and hedges were overgrown. Potholes, everything crooked and crooked. The paths to the sanitary facilities are sometimes half a world away. The sanitary facilities in the southern part of the site are very outdated and look very neglected. In general, the whole site gives this impression. Everything is left to its own devices and not maintained in the slightest. The grass is growing on the tennis court, mini golf is falling apart and the equipment on the playground is rusting more than the Eiffel Tower. Depending on your location, you can hear the highway very loudly at night.
If you take a walk around the site, you will notice many camping ruins in the area of the permanent campers. These reflect the overall image of the site.
Only the area around the pool still looks quite nice. However, the water was very dirty and really excessively chlorinated.
Only the restaurant was great. Fast and good service and delicious pizza.
Overall, the stay was bearable for a weekend. But your safety and health is important to us and must be guaranteed on the site and our swimming pool has been "ready to... go" for weeks - we just have to be allowed to open it. The notice that the swimming pool was not open (which is not due to us, but to the still pending approval by the health department) as well as other corona-related restrictions, is published on the website (see current travel advice). We all hope for normal times soon - this will also make operations easier, more predictable and less cost-intensive for us. We were happy to book a site... that wasn't one of the cheaper campsites because it had so much to offer. Good service has its price, completely ok.
We thought it was a shame that no discount was offered, although none of the offers were available. You could play tennis for €9.50. If you stay at least 7 days, you can play minigolf once for free.
Unfortunately, the swimming pool was not open. It's a shame that it takes so long for water samples to be taken before the health department approves the opening. Before we left, it said on the internet ... we are ready to open .... so we thought it would be open in the 2nd week of the vacation at the latest. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
Now it says on the homepage that no animation is possible because of the Corona regulations. Before we left, before the Whitsun vacations, this was not on the homepage. It said on the homepage that efforts were being made to avoid restrictions on the offer as far as possible and that we would be able to enjoy the usual service despite the current situation. We assumed that they were trying to do a bit of a program. We were told that there was a lack of staff. No night hike, no campfire, the pool bar was closed (ice cream could not be delivered, you can buy it in any supermarket), the petting zoo is not available, the children cannot go into the enclosure and stroke them.
The state government's phased plan allows cultural events, low-contact recreational sports....

In addition to the caravan pitch, we also rented a bathroom.
The petting zoo was unfortunately only sparsely occupied, which may of course be due to the time of year.
The restaurant made a good impression. However, we only ordered... something to take away. Which was also very tasty. You can hardly hear the highway.
The highlight is the swimming pool. But the playground is also OK. We also used an indoor table tennis table.
Some buildings (table tennis room, youth room) should be renovated.

Of course, the sanitary facilities and the swimming pool are regularly cleaned and disinfected in compliance with all Corona safety measures. However, we can only carry out a lot of work on the site when there are no guests, so as not to disturb them... on vacation with noisy work or possibly endanger them, etc. This "winter work and maintenance work" can now be started again and will of course be carried out again.
