Erika S.August 2024TeigiamiRestNeigiamiAccess roadSuper campsitePoorly signposted and difficult to reach with large trailers. The access road is very steep and registration is poorly signposted. The steep access road is not manageable with a wheelchair - be careful when the barrier is closed!
The tranquillity, solidity and friendliness are very good. More for older... couples, there is little on offer for children apart from fishing and swimming. Many dogs on the site (including ours) but everything clean, dog beach a little away. Dogs are not allowed on the beach or in the water, but smokers with their butts are. Please be considerate. You can hear the music from the beach opposite, but only at certain times, no constant noise. 2 disabled showers can be opened with a Euro key. Everything clean and tidy. We didn't go to the restaurant, just got pizza to take away - a matter of taste. The food was good in the restaurant opposite.
Above all, the peace and quiet and proximity to the lake make the campsite an idyll.
Please take long power cables with you. Water at a central tap.

The store on site is well stocked, with a very large and sufficient selection of pastries in the morning. There is also cake in the afternoon. You can eat well in the restaurant on site, there is something for everyone. The sanitary... facilities are spacious and clean, the showers have a good jet and were always nice and hot.
The only thing that bothered me about this site was the unfriendly permanent campers. I've never experienced anything like it before. You really felt like a troublemaker.
What I also missed with the waste separation was compost, which unfortunately had to be put with the residual waste.Automatiškai išversta.

W-Lan is not necessarily good, which didn't bother us as we were on vacation. We had a nice pitch almost on the shore and were very happy about it. The pitches further up towards the tent meadow are really on a slope and therefore at an angle, so pitching... an awning here is an adventure, as is setting up a table "straight". In our opinion, these pitches should be laid out in terraces so that they are level. Long power cables are also an advantage, the power boxes are sometimes far away and didn't really make a safe impression on us. There is definitely room for improvement here. The sanitary building is modern and clean. We found the supermarket to be very well stocked and there is enough choice of fresh baked goods every day. The lake itself is great. Pleasantly warm and shallow, ideal for children, for SUP or inflatable boats, very clean, simply great.
The access road is narrow, but there are passing places for oncoming traffic, which some drivers simply don't want to or can't understand. :-( The way out of the campsite is via a very steep exit. This is not the problem, but the pedestrians and drivers who manage to stop in the middle of the road to take away the garbage. The large parking lot is 20 m further on, but that seems to be too far for many people. The selfishness of some people seems to know no bounds. But that's not the site's fault.
The restaurant is very good and can be recommended. We personally find the prices a little too high for a campsite.
All in all, a good, recommendable campsite, even if there is still room for improvement.Automatiškai išversta.

Right at the beginning we realized that nobody cares about a good night's sleep here. Loud music in the neighborhood until 2 am. The restaurant is supplied from 7 in the morning and trucks drive around the site. If you complain... about this, you get a cheeky reply from the groundsman, e.g. "You're on a campsite here, not a cemetery."
The dog beach is very badly signposted and not fenced in.
When our dog once peed on a small piece of grass, a permanent camper got loud and insulting, ran to the groundsman and complained. He then pointed out the "rules" to me. When I asked, I was told that the rules were the same on every pitch. After a long search, I was given a piece of paper with the rules. Dogs are only allowed to relieve themselves in the dog toilet. This is a small meadow between the entrance and exit, which is full of poop. A normal dog doesn't do anything there. There is also a bag dispenser there, which has not been filled for days.
A clear distinction is made here between permanent campers (who are allowed EVERYTHING) and tourist campers. We were no longer greeted by the groundsman in question, but rather looked at obliquely.
The site was very busy at the time, so it was sometimes very dirty in the wash houses. Used tampons in the shower, cotton buds and empty shower gel bottles were normal. Toothpaste scattered around the washbasins and tufts of hair were standard. In the evening after 11pm the showers and washing areas were locked so that you could only wash at the hand basin in the toilets and brush your teeth.
Some of the pitches are very small. We could just about fit our camper van with awning on it. We parked the car outside, otherwise it wouldn't have been possible to sit in front of the awning.
We can't recommend the restaurant, an Italian restaurant.Automatiškai išversta.

Only the arrival was a bit unfortunate. The pitch we booked last year directly on the lake was definitely too small for our caravan (6.10m + drawbar). The standard pitches are approx. 60 - 70 square meters in size and very cramped. However, we were immediately offered... a larger pitch. Fortunately for us, it was at the back with trees, so we always had shade and we and our dogs were not permanently exposed to the sun without protection.
The lake is wonderful, easy to reach from all the pitches and you can enjoy your sun downer almost every day with a wonderful sunset. Fishing, stand up paddling, swimming, .....all are possible.
The sanitary facilities were clean and we never had a "traffic jam". (Water taps with light sensor - hygienic) The small EDEKA supermarket is well stocked and offers a really good selection of goods. Best baked goods and definitely try the cakes ;-). The EDEKA staff were very friendly and service-oriented.
We also tried the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised - good food, nice service and fair value for money.
The dog beach always offers entertainment for the fur noses, so the 4-legged friends also get their money's worth!
Unfortunately, it wasn't so nice at the lake on Saturday, as guests came every weekend and turned this relaxing place into a party mile. Benches, tables in the water, loud music and plenty of alcohol.
Not what you would expect from a lake in the foothills of the Alps - which was a shame. But from Sunday onwards, it was time to enjoy ourselves again.
Be careful on arrival, do NOT follow the NAVI but the signs as shown in the photo.
We can look back on 3 wonderful weeks for us and our 4-legged friends.
All in all a beautiful place, organizationally regarding the choice of pitch / size / booking there is still some need for development.

In persistent muddy weather, the paths are not sufficiently graveled and muddyBeautiful place with restrictionsWe had booked a pitch between the reception and the Womo disposal area, a very good compromise in terms of location between accessibility to the sanitary facilities and the necessary disposal. As it was far away from the camp meadow, it should have been reasonably quiet - and it was, unfortunately only... for the first few days. Then a group arrived in the immediate vicinity, which was already giving birth and making noise at midday, which continued until well after midnight. Even the daily thunderstorms didn't stop this group from partying.
Yes, the weather... It's not the site operator's fault, but the advertised gravel on the access road to the site (we had pitch 1008) was only very rudimentary and the road was correspondingly muddy. There is just as much potential for improvement as with the power supply. Fortunately, we were forewarned by other reviews and quickly organized a loooong CEE cable before we left.
Electricity is very expensive at 75ct/kWh. It's cheaper to run the fridge on gas (or you have enough solar on the roof and a large battery), we had electricity costs of around €2.50 per day. Don't want to know what it would have been like with air conditioning.
With better weather and without the riots of the last few days, it could have been a really nice vacation, especially as the rest of the price level is rather humane.

The pitches are large and are mowed... regularly. The lake with a panoramic view of the Alps is beautiful. It would be great if the gravel beach could be turned into a sandy beach.
